    He checked his kill count.

    Lewis had got so many kills. He had killed a lot of weaklings. He was one of those ss holders, one which he had got at one of the trials at the tutorial zone.


    He had always found it strange how the whole tutorial zone could be cleared just by staying in the safe zone and not going out at all. He had always questioned himself the reason for the existence of the forest. That is when he had thought of the possibilities of treasures outside of the trial, and sure enough, he had found one.


    That helped him stay ahead of others and get so many kills but even so, he was annoyed at the moment. One of his targets had escaped his clutches and he had lost track of the person.


    This hadn''t happened before. He always carried out his kills with extreme precision.


    But subsequent sesses made him overconfident, he chose to y with one of his targets for fun which had led to him escaping his grasp. And before he knew it he lost him.


    He clenched his fists as he gritted his teeth.


    "I am never gonna make the same mistake again."


    It was then that he noticed two peopleing in his direction. It was utz and Selena. But he knew neither of their identity. However for some reason his lips arched into a devilish smile.


    "Two of them? Let''s see."


    Lewis was no fool himself. He understood that all it takes a predator to be prey is a simple mistake. He doesn''t dare to make mistakes.


    He, therefore, lurks on trees and observes his target. It is only when he makes sure that they are weaker than himself does he approach to kill them.


    Even now he was on a tree hiding amongst the leaves trying to read his target''s strength andpare it with his.

    It was then that Lewis knew that he was done for. Lewis felt the greatest fear of his life. He tried to hide himself to the best of his capabilities. He had even stopped his very breathing. He was waiting for utz to leap at him with the intent to kill. He needs to at least defend himself.


    Seeing utz like that even Selena felt worried but she said nothing.

    But the next moment utz turned back on his path not minding anything as if nothing happened. He acted as if there was nothing wrong.


    "Oh my god, this person is not simple. Better not poke my nose here." Lewis was having cold sweats. His face had turned ashen white from his killing intent alone.


    He watched their backs as both of them walked away. Lewis had to just stay put to escape with his life.
