Everything was dark. Visibility was zero.


    Bill could not locate his friends. Only his sense of touch and hearing to his help. He couldn''t make out their forms as if he had lost his eyesight. And not only Bill but all of them were in the same state.


    It was then…


    *sniff* *sniff*


    An unknown smell drifted in his nose. It smelled like roses but was a little different.


    ''What is this smell?''


    *thud*


    The guy who was walking in his rear fell to the floor as he became unconscious. Bill eyebrows rose high so much that his forehead disappeared.


    "Everyone covers your nose! Don''t breathe in this air!" Bill shouted at the top of his voice as he covered his nose and his voice.


    But it was toote, as he heard no sound from behind him. It was all a deathly nothingness. He was with a group of nine but everyone had be dead silent.


    ''Dammit!''


    Bill tried to hold back his breath but he couldn''tst long. His nostrils started to throb as they wanted air inside them. His eyes turned droopy as his body went limp.


    *thud*


    He fell to the floor motionless.

    A yellow speck of light appeared in the middle of a lush green forest. It grows more and more till utz and Selena appear from within it.


    "Wow, where are we?" Selena squeaked. Her eyes drifted everywhere randomly as she tried to figure out the situation she was in. But all utz did was stare at her. His surroundings didn''t faze him a bit as he was expecting it to be something like this. But there was something else that was really strange.


    He stared intently towards Selena while he held his chin. He was simply lost in thought.


    "What?" Selena asked as she felt his gaze burning through her clothes.


    But all utz did was shake his head.


    ''Why was her spawn point so close to mine?'' utz thought. Every participant of the bonus stage is supposed to have a different spawn point, at least that is what utz knew.


    ''Maybe, because she is my vassal?''


    [Wee to the battle Bonus Stage]


    A weing message popped up along with a stream of information. This bonus stage had its own set of instructions.


    There were a total of five floating inds. Four of them revolved around a single floating ind at the dead centre.


    The goal is to survive till the very end. After 2 days, all the four inds will copse and the participants have to move to the central ind. There are portals both at the centre and the edges of each ind. The central one allows the user to quit the stage. The one at the edges allows the user to teleport to different inds.


    At the end of all of this, thest man standing and the one with the most kills will be separately rewarded.


    utz nodded. He already knew of this information. But Selena who was new to all of this shuddered in fright. The flirty atmosphere that she had around her a moment ago disappeared into thin air.


    Floating inds… ying killing each other… and then copsing. Selena who had yet not seen any sort of magic couldn''t believe this stuff. To her all of this was just something she had read in fantasy books.


    ''What should I do?''


    Her hands shook. All she wanted to do now was go to the centre of this ind and quit the stage. She doesn''t want to die. For her, her own life takes priority.


    She turned towards utz, he had a smirk on his face. There was an aura of confidence around him that made her be at ease.


    ''Even if I leave here, there is no guarantee that there would be no dangers. Better to stick with him''


    She wrapped herself around his arms.


    "What are we going to do now?"


    "Survive," utz had no ns to do anything foolish. All he wanted to do was be thest man standing.


    On the other hand, there is a lot more to this bonus stage than it looks like. KLautz goal is not only to survive, it is to gain all those items he could get on this stage.


    "There should be four golems. I ought to defeat one at least and four at best"


    The four floating inds are interconnected with portals. One can easily cross it but the first one to cross has to fight a golem that defends those portals. These golems are like minigames and defeating them would give certain prizes.


    utz, having his past life memories, knew of this. He never dared to participate in this bonus stage in his previous life. But that doesn''t mean that he didn''t extort information about it.


    "Let''s go"


    They had only walked a few steps when a man entered their view.


    But he wasn''t in a good and healthy state as one might expect. He was crawling on the ground bellowing in pain. His whole body died in blood red. The man couldn''t even sit up let alone stand. He just pulled his body away with his dominant hand as he looked for help. His left hand was already in tatters and it was almost dangling from his side.


    "Please Help" the man cried as he saw utz and Selena. The man was in so much pain and all he wanted was to be relieved of it. Some sort of medication… some sort of miracle.


    *swish*


    utz took out his sword from his scabbard and without a moment''s notice he stabbed the man who was reduced to nothing but a cripple. But unlike usual there was no killing intent emanating from him.


    "Ack!" the man coughed up blood as it breathed itsst breath.
