    Chapter 2858

Fausto was taken aback when he saw that horse.

He then confessed, "This is a horse that a Eurasian horse dealer sold to me. Supposedly, it''s a wild horse that he caught at Eurasia''s northern borders. It has a fierce character. Although it has the potential to be the king of racehorses, even the best horse trainer I have here was unable to tame it. The horse nearly died from the training, and it ended up losing weight until it turned from a muscr mare into this skinny state. Still, it refused to submit."

Fausto turned and frowned at Nathan. "Mr. Cross, this is a wild horse that''s difficult to tame. Don''t even think of riding it."

However, Nathan calmly answered, "You can''t tame it because you''re too weak, so it refuses to submit to you."

Fausto was livid to hear that. He eximed indignantly, "I have the best horse trainers in the world here. Please refrain from makingments if you don''t know horses well to avoid embarrassing yourself!"

Nathan responded in a cial tone, "The one who has embarrassed himself is you. I want this horse. It''ll be the one. Name a price, and I''ll buy it." Initially, Fausto wanted to reject Nathan.

However, a moment of contemtionter, he recalled that Nathan was buying the horse topete against Bryon.

If he did not sell the horse to Nathan, Bryon would not be able topete with Nathan, and he might be angry because of that. Hence, he replied, "I''ve spent ten million in Eurasian currency for this horse. If you want to buy it, it''ll be one hundred million." Upon hearing that, Colin snapped, "Are you trying to rob him? A hundred million for something you bought for ten million?"

Fausto furrowed his brows and uttered, "I''m a businessman. Of course I''d buy things for a low price and sell them for a high price. Moreover, this horse has the potential to be the best of its kind. If you can tame it, it''ll be worth more than three hundred million. It''s not absurd if I sell it for a hundred million."

Colin was about to argue with the man, but Nathan cut him off indifferently, "It''s only a hundred million. Colin, give it to him."

    "Yes, sir."

Nathan then turned to Bryon and said with a smile, “It seems a little boring for us to merely find out who will win in this race. It''s not thrilling enough. Don''t you think it''ll be better with a bet?"

Bryon raised his brows, interested. "What kind of bet would you like to make?"

Nathan pointed at the scrawny horse he was nning to buy and said, "The one who loses will have to give up their horse to the one who wins." Bryon smiled. "Sure."

Nathan beamed as well. He then instructed Fausto, "Let this skinny horse out. I want us to get used to each other."

    Fausto swiftly answered, "Mr. Cross,

since you''re willing to spend a

hundred million to buy this horse, I''ll sell it to you. However, here''s a warning from me. This horse is a wild horse with a short temper it''s as fierce as a dragon. I already have three horse trainers bitten by it, and one is even in the ICU, still in mortal danger. Feel free to try to tame it, but don''t hold me ountable if anything happens to you."

Colin snapped, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Fausto stubbornly responded, "I''m only speaking the truth. If Mr. Cross doesn''t have the skill for horse taming but insists on it, he''ll only be embarrassing himself."

Colin was furious to hear Fausto speak so impolitely to Nathan, so he took a step forward, about to teach Fausto a lesson.

Yet, Nathan stopped Colin and cast

Fausto a cold look. "You''re not good enough to tame the racehorse, but don''t think I''m as incapable as you are Cease the nonsense and let the horses out!"

Fausto''s expression darkened after he was mocked by Nathan as an incapable person. He said through gritted teeth, "Fine. This is what you wanted. I''d like to see how things

turn out for you. Come, let the horse out!

Everyone moved far away from the paddock. Even many of Bryon''s bodyguards tensed up as they readied themselves to protect Bryon.

In contrast, Nathan calmly stood in front of the gate and waited for them to let the horse out.

When the wild horse in it saw that the gate was opened, its eyes lit up.

After letting out a loud neigh, it dashed out.

It was almost as swift as lightning as it charged toward Nathan like it was determined to kill Nathan in one go.N?velDrama.Org holds this content.

Even Penny''s heart lurched as she shouted, "Watch out, Hubby!"
