Chapter 2857
?
Fausto led Nathan, Bryon, and the others into Pegasus Club.
They then came to the stables, where thousands of purebred racehorses were kept at.
Fausto then introduced to them his favorite horse, which was also the best horse there.
As he pointed at a white racehorse in the stable, he said with a smile, "President Bryon, let me introduce to you this horse. This is the best racehorse in this ce and the world."
Bryon smiled and replied, "Please stop calling me President Bryon. I havee to this ce on a trip as Mr. Cross'' friend. Therefore, feel free to just call me Mr. Bryon."
Fausto quickly answered, "Of course."
Bryon then turned to the majestic, pure white racehorse and curiously asked, “Does this racehorse have a name?"
Fausto froze.
In the next second, he looked at Nathan guiltily.
As it turned out, after Fausto received his green card and migrated to Newcove, he had ndered Eurasia to tter Ariarica.
In fact, his favorite racehorse had the unique name of lorasia.
He had once told the reporters that the racehorse was called lorasia not because of his love for Eurasia but because of his hate for Eurasia.
That was why he had named the horse lorasia. That meant that he, as an Ariarican, would assist Ariarica in having Eurasia beneath them forever. Hence, when Fausto heard Bryon asking for the racehorse''s name, he shot a guilty glimpse at Nathan before replying, "It does. Its name is lorasia." Max and the others burst outughing when they heard his reply.
Half-smiling, Bryon then said, "I''ve seen the news about this racehorse, and I''ve heard the reason for its name. I never thought it really was named lorasia. Hahaha!"
Initially, Nathan and Penny did not understand why the horse had been named lorasia.
However, Colin soon whispered an exnation to them.
Nathan grimaced immediately, and Penny had a furious expression too.
When Mueller saw the couple''s expressions darkening, he immediately realized that Nathan was furious. Promptly, he tried to defuse the situation. "Haha. Fausto, will your horse be able to go on the tracks?"
Fausto gleefully replied, "My horse has won many races, and it''s certainly the king of racehorses. It''ll definitely be able to go on the tracks."
At that, Bryon quickly said, "I''ve learned to ride horses since young, and I love the activity. If your horse is as impressive as you make it out to be, I''d like to give it a try."
With that, he turned to Nathan and said, "Mr. Cross, why don''t you pick a good horse while I take lorasia? Let''s have a match."
His tone was polite, but the provocation in his eyes was visible.
Bryon was the head of his country, and so was Nathan.
This was a challenge from one nation''s leader to another.
V
Nathan was just looking for the opportunity to teach the man before him a lesson when he heard Bryon challenging him to a match. It was perfect timing.
Nathan smiled. "If you''d like to give it a go, Mr. Bryon, I''ll y along."
His agreement made the crowd cheer.
Everyone could see that the two were up against each other.
Now, the two nations'' leaders were going topete against each other.
Everyone was thrilled. They wanted to find out who was going to emerge as the victor!
Bryon gave Nathan a simr smile in return. “I''ll ride lorasia today. Fausto, bring Mr. Cross to pick a good horse."
Fausto nodded. "Mr. Cross, there are

However, Nathan icily responded, "I don''t need you to lend it to me. I''ll buy the one I''m interested in."
Hearing that, Fausto grimaced. It was clear that Nathan disliked him and did not want to have any connections with him at all. Thus, Fausto grumpily muttered, "All right. Pick one then."
Nathan walked around the stable to look at the horses. When he was in the North Army, he once had a ferocious beast named Luster. Back then, Nathan rode Luster into the battlefield and ughtered many of his enemy generals, doing countless meritorious deeds. Therefore, not only did Nathan know how to ride a horse, but he also knew how to judge a horse.
Even though there were plenty of good horses in the stables, none were as good as lorasia.
Must I ride a horse that isn''t as good as my opponent''s into a match?
Right as Nathan was about to give up and pick a random horse, a strange neighing noise from a distance away caught his attention. He hurried over.
It was then he saw a skinny horse in a paddock.Belongs to N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
Although the horse was skinny, it
had arge frame, and its eyes were particrly fierce. When it saw Nathan and the others approaching it, it even bared its teeth like a beast as if it was going to devour someone.
Nathan''s eyes lit up at that. "This is a good horse. Brief me on its history."
