Chapter 1635
A dark expression on his face, Hagen spat coldly, “You have quite the rude mouth on you. Who are
you exactly? I''ve never seen you around before.”

“You don''t deserve to know who I am,” Nathan replied.
What?
Hagen and his group were taken aback by Nathan''s bold statement.
After a while, Hagen started chuckling. “How interesting. You know, I enjoy beating some sense into
lunatics like you.”
“You said you''d help Cheryl pay the remaining two billion, right? Fine. Then pay up now. If you''re
even one short, then I''m taking that as a free pass to smash you into a pulp.”
Nathan waved his hand in one direction. Colin suddenly appeared by his side out of nowhere,
bowing politely. “Mr. Cross.”
“Transfer two billion to him,” Nathan instructed.
Yes, sir.
Colin requested for Hagen''s banking details, and within the next ten minutes, two billion was
sessfully transferred into his Swiss bank ount.
At the same time, Cheryl instructed Lennon to transfer the remaining eight billion into Hagen''s bank
ount.
Ten billion. Not one more and not one less.
Slightly taken aback, Hagen took another curious look at Nathan. After all, not just anyone was
willing to give away two billion so easily.
Which billionaire''s son is he?
Nathan didn''t seem familiar to him at all, so he guessed that he was some bastard son of a random
billionaire that was trying to get into Cheryl''s good graces because he liked her.
Hagen had earned ten billion tonight. That in of itself put him in a good mood, and he was willing to
overlook how Nathan had just offended him publicly.
In a lopsided half-smile, he said to Nathan, “Good on you, brat. Never would I have thought that you
had some money to your name.”
Either way, Cheryl had lost ten billion, two billion of which she owed Nathan. She was going to have
to eat only food scraps to survive for the next few days.
A little heartbroken, she muttered to Nathan,
“I X1 ?
Lets go.
She left the venue with her group and Nathan. After all, they''d lost the bet, and there was no reason
for them to stay any longer.
However, one of Hagen''s followers, a mousey-looking mustached man, reached an arm out to stop
them in their tracks.
Heughed emotionlessly. “Did Mr. Tucker say you could leave?”
“You dare block my way, Jim?” Cheryl growled.
“Ms. Stewart, I would never dare to block your way, but this young man beside you cannot leave. He
was rude to Mr. Tucker, and so he must be punished,” insisted Jim.
Cheryl directed her furious stare towards Hagen.
He was ignoring everything that was going on, but his inaction clearly meant that he approved of his
follower''s actions.
She was going to lose her mind.
At this moment, Nathan suddenly spoke up. “That''s right. We still have some unfinished business,
so I can''t leave yet.”
Huh?
Everyone was stunned into silence. Nathan knew that Hagen was trying to cause trouble for him on
purpose, but still didn''t want to leave — was he out of his mind?
Even Cheryl couldn''t hide the surprise in her eyes as she looked at Nathan.
Detecting the steely determination in his gaze, she realized that he wanted to teach Hagen a
lesson.
Nathan stared Hagen and his group down coldly. “We''ve already paid the money, but this
mustached man is right. This isn''t over until someone apologizes.”
Hagen exchanged confused nces with his followers.
“Well, well. Are you going to apologize to me? I guess you do have some wits about you, brat. If you
kneel down and beg for mercy, I''ll forgive you just this one time,” he sniggered.
Nathan shook his head. “I think you''ve misunderstood. I want you to apologize to Ms. Stewart, not
me. You''ve humiliated her verbally, and if you don''t apologize to her, then we''re not done here.”
Hagen, Cheryl, and literally everyone else around them were shocked.
This young man who had appeared out of nowhere not only dared to provoke Hagen, but also
dared to demand that he apologize to Cheryl?
Hagen was Boris Tucker''swful heir. Even if Cheryl''s father were here, he wouldn''t have the
courage to offend Hagen in such fashion.
