Chapter 1634
Cheryl''s expression swiftly changed into one of pure fury. “Trying to harass me is a death sentence.”
Herpanions standing behind her were each ring at Hagen too.
But Hagen wasn''t in the slightest bit concerned. His uncle, Boris, was a member of the Great
Cab, and Hagen''s family had recently agreed to give him up to be adopted by Boris. He was
going to be Boris Tucker''s son and hiswful heir!
Cheryl''s father was a lowly minister. With old President Windsor sick and bedridden, the Stewart
family was done for.
Hagen did not care for the Stewart family anymore, else he would not have voiced out
such a shameless request.
He sneered, “Cheryl, the Stewart family is already done for. Even your father has to bow his head
down to me and call me ''Mr. Tucker1 politely. If he knew that you and I hooked up, he might even be
happy for you! So you have no choice but to do as I say...”
Cheryl''s re was so cold that it might have frozen anyone else who met her eyes. “Hagen, you are
literally nothing more than a measly rat to me. Do you think you still deserve my attention? Keep on
dreaming.”
Hagen absolutely detested other people calling him a rat more than anything else. His expression
darkened. “I''ve alreadyid out all of my conditions. Whether you agree or not is up to you. It''s up to
you now. Either you sleep with me, or pay ten billion right now. If you''re even one short, my friends
and I will go to your house and

demand the remainder from Minister Smith.”
Cheryl''s face paled slightly.
Her father had recently asked her to stay on the down-low, and forbade her from getting into any
more trouble. If he found out that she was leading a group of bureaucrats and had lost a bet of ten
billion, he might be so angry that he''d get a heart attack.
She had to stop Hagen from going to her house and demanding money!
She could not agree to sleeping with Hagen either!
But there was no way she could pay up ten billion right now. What other option did she have?
Just as she was racking her brain for a way out, Nathan opened his mouth and started speaking
from where he stood off to one side.
“Ms. Stewart, I''ll help you pay the remainder of two billion for now. You can return the money to me
whenever you''re able to.”
Everyone stared at Nathan in shock and curiosity, starting to guess among themselves who he was.
Who was this guy? How rich was he that he could talk about giving away two billion so easily?
When the richest man in all the nation started a business for his son all those years ago, he had
only given his son five hundred million. It was rumored that the cash was given in small amounts at
a time, as the man''s money was all stashed away in the banks.
It was scary to imagine that this young man in front of them could just fork out that sum of money so
casually.
Cheryl nearly jumped in excitement after hearing Nathan''s deration, staring gratefully at him as
she whispered, “Thank you.”
Hagen had had his eye on Cheryl for a very long time. He never cared for the money; he just
wanted to gain possession of her body.
The chance to force Cheryl to bend to his whims had nearly been right within his grasp before
Nathan showed up.
He instantly red up with anger, barking at Nathan. “Hey, brat, where''d youe from? Stay out of
Cheryl''s and my business. Don''t you know what happens when you cross me?”
Nathan said lightly, “You won, so take your money and go. Why do you care who I am? Also, please
quit being arrogant when you''re in my presence. You are nothing to me.”
Not only did Nathan''s words leave Hagen and his group in his shock, but also stunned Cheryl and
herpanions.
The Cab was busy resolving any and all national issues, and as a result, the members had each
gained a great deal of power and influence.
As thewful heir to Boris Tucker, Hagen was especially influential amongst all of the Brimmopolis
bureaucrats.
He didn''t know where Nathan hade out from, but this guy obviously had a death wish if he
dared to insult him.
