    Even though there was no big deal, she still had some injured areas, and they were hurting.


    “Mama is not feeling well. Please do not knock her over.” Anthony tried to stop them.


    Charlie even wanted to climb up his mother’s thighs.

    The three kids noticed the wounds on their mother’s face when they heard their father say, “What


    happened to Mama?”


    Anne squatted down and said gently, “Nothing big, I only scratched myself. I will be fine soon.


    “We will help Mama to blow it out, and the pain will fly away!” Chloe said.


    “Sure,” Anne replied.


    The three kids then pouted their lips and blew onto their mother’s face.


    “Pain, pain, go away. No more pain!” Chloe muttered.


    “Hmm, it is indeed not painful anymore,” Anne tried hard to suppress the tears in her


    eyes.


    She was so close to losing her life and nevering back again.


    “Go back in.” Anthony carried her again and walked to the staircase.


    The triplets followed closely behind.


    Anne really wanted to say that even though she was injured, it did not mean that she could not walk. She


    could still walk with just a little bit of support.


    However, she swallowed back what she wanted to say again.

    At night, Anne stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom and then unwrapped the bandage on her face.


    She saw the scar was even worse than the one she got when she did a C–section to give birth to the


    triplets.


    Her face was small, so the scar took up more than half her face, cutting straight


    through from the corner of her mouth to near her ear. The cut was so long and so deep.


    There were even eight stitches on it.


    Anne was really freaked out. She looked at it quietly, stunned.


    It was worse than she imagined.


    If that was the case, could she still recover?


    It was probably irreversible…


    When the bathroom door was opened again, she did not even bother to conceal this.


    Anthony had already seen it when in the hospital.

    “What if I could not get back to how I look?” It was almost as though Anne wanted to know his answer
