    Anne and Chloe’s faces appeared on the screen, followed by Charlie and Chris’s. The triplets chirped


    as they called out to him and Anthony narrowed his eyes slightly in content at the heart–warming


    scene.


    Anne noticed that Anthony was in his office, her heart sinking at the thought of what he had been doing


    with Bianca inside.


    ‘Bianca has probably left,‘ she thought, ‘or he won’t be calling me…”


    “Papa, we are catching butterflies with Mama!” Charlie yelled.


    “I am taking photos of butterflies with Mama!” Chloe added.


    “There are so many butterflies! So pretty!” Chris said.


    The triplets went on and on about what had happened excitedly.


    “Send me the photoster,” he said, “don’t use your mom’s phone.”


    “Okay!” The triplets ran off to ask Hayden for a phone, leaving Anne to speak to Anthony alone.


    Not knowing what to say, Anne muttered, “If you don’t have anything else to say, I’ll go find the kids


    now…


    “Choosing them over me? Hm?” He asked hoarsely.


    Anne lowered her gaze. “I thought you were busy?”


    “Not now.”


    “Have you eaten?”


    “Not yet. Just done with work. I’ll eat in a bit,” Anthony said.


    ‘You are just done with Bianca, you mean…‘ Anne thought to herself.


    Had she not been to the Archduke Group, she would still be thinking that Anthony truly cared for her.


    “You should go eat something, then. I’ll check on the kids.”


    “Sure. I’ll be back in the afternoon. Also, don’t take naps with the kids.”


    “…I get it.” She hung up and remained frozen in ce, wondering if Anthony wanted her to reserve a


    ce next to her in bed for him.


    She would have waited with wings for him to be back in the past, yet her heart felt heavy at the moment


    because she learnt that Anthony did not care for her and had only married her because Bianca told him


    to do so.


    ‘Maybe he is just waiting for a chance to divorce me…”


    She thought as tears welled in her eyes. ‘I love him so much. What would I have left if he divorces


    me…‘


    “Mama, Mama! I took a lot of photos!” Chloe ran over excitedly.


    “I caught a butterfly!” Charlie raised his hand, showing off the butterfly that he caught between two


    fingers.


    Chris had caught one as well.


    “I’m sending this to Papa!” Chloe picked up the phone to message Anthony.


    Seeing how happy the children seemed, Anne suppressed all negative emotions she was feeling.


    After ying in the garden and catching all the butterflies they could, she took the children back to their


    room for a nap.


    The three did not hesitate to head toward the master bedroom and crawled onto the bed. “I want to


    sleep with Mama!”


    “Me, too!”


    “We woke up yesterday on our beds!” Chris said.


    Anne did not have the heart to stop them.
