Chapter 1395
The two were in conversation, leaving Sallie and Henson standing in shock.
Estelle knew Liam? And they seemed close, too. That was unexpected!
Sallie gingerly approached and asked, “Estelle, are you friends with Mr. Ger?”
Estelle chuckled, “My mentor, Old Mr. Quintin, and Mr. Ger go way back. Years ago, I stayed with
them for a while. It was a long time ago, and I thought Mr. Ger had forgotten about me, so I never
mentioned it to you guys”
Estelle’s design style had always leaned towards the traditional, heavily influenced by Mr. Ger, who
was her design mentor.
Mr. Gerughed. “How could I forget you? I really wanted to convince Old Mr. Quintin to let you
be my student. After all, you loved designing clothes too. But Old Mr. Quintin wouldn’t budge” ·
With clear eyes. Estelle replied, In my heart, you’re also my teacher”
“Are you still studying?” Liam asked.
Tve graduated, and working at Jason’s design studio now” Estelle responded respectfully.
“Good, very good!” Liam nodded, “Jason’s great too. Both of you make Old Mr. Quintin very proud!”
At this point, Liam seemed a bit down. Old Mr. Quintin had many students all over the world, but his
own craft was on the brink of extinction.
The servant brought in coffee, and Liam motioned for Sallie and the others to sit.

reality show. Maybe you’ve heard about it. The show wanted you on, and they’ve arranged for you and
Sallie to coborate Sallie’s tried to meet you several times without sess. She wanted to ask the
show to swap you out with someone else, but they wouldn’t agree. She’s really sorry for bothering you
Liam looked at Sallie, who was eagerly and respectfully returning his gaze
Liam slowly nodded and said to Estelle, “Look, Estelle. I’m not going to beat around the bush. I really
don’t want to be part of a TV show. I just want to quietly do my vintage dresses.”
Sallie felt her heart sink and looked hopefully at Estelle
Henson shot a nce at the equally anxious Hans and whispered, “Keep quiet and let Estelle handle
this.”
Hans rxed and waited for Estelle to speak.
Estelle poured Liam some coffee, “Mr. Ger, if your craft is showcased on TV, more people would see
it. Isn’t that a good thing?”
Liam shook his head, “Being on TV only attracts people who are in it for the profit. I’ve had enough of
those experiences. Theye to me wanting to learn, but in reality, they just want to get famous.
They’re impatient, fake, and none of them are genuinely interested in learning my craft
Estelle smiled, “So, do you want to find a sessor for your craft?
Liam nodded eagerly, “Of course, but learning a craft requires grit. Today’s youngsters can’t stand the
solitude or the hard work.”
“I recall you talking about your youth with Old Mr. Quintin. You didn’t want to learn the craft and
preferred going out to watch operas and listen to stories. But as time passed, you matured and took
over the Ger tailor store from your father. Over the years, your business has flourished, and pretty
much everyone knows that the Ger family’s hand-embroidered roses are one of a kind”
Liam grinned, “Estelle, what are you trying to say?”
“All young people go through a restless phase, but as long as they truly love the art, they would
eventually immerse themselves in it like you did.” Estelle replied with a soft smile, “Many people sought
advice from Old Mr. Quintin, mostly for fame and profit. But Old Mr. Quintin once said that out of every
hundred people, there would be one who genuinely wanted to learn art. He was there for that one
person, so he was willing to sift through a hundred people.”
