The ground was shaking as he ran. He was blocking every thought froming to his mind. He didn''t
want to think about anything else other than letting his thoughts free from all the things He wanted to
give himself alone time, away from everything ‘Let’s not block them all.
Let’s talk it out with each other’ He Heard his wolf’s voice in his head which decreased his speed a
little.
He wanted to run away from those and here his wolf was suggesting to talk it out Really?
‘‘What do you want to talk about?’ Dominic questioned back as they picked up their speed again and
continued to run like before There is a lot to talk about.There is a lot going on but let’s start from
Athena, our mate"
His wolf proposed and he immediately stopped at his track His wolf started to take deep breaths to
calm itself down, ‘I am here to run away from her thoughts only"
Dominic said as his wolf slowly sat down on the ground.
They were tired after running for so long.
They gave their full strength in running which is why they were a little bit tired as well.
So, they both decided t o take a rest ‘Running away is not going to help us.We need to find a solution
out of this"
His sensible wolf pointed out, making him frown.
His wolf wasn’t supposed to sound this smart!
‘I don’t understand what is this solution you are talking about! Our mate is confused about us.She is
reluctant to take a step toward us.One moment she shows she feels equally attracted toward me and
the next moment she is cold and distant I know she was pretending when she said she was ready to
take this step with me.In actuality, she wasn’t ready.She was pretending and had some motive.I don’t
know what it is.I won’t be surprised if she hates us as well.And that shit hurts, doesn’t it?!’ Dominic
bbered out in his mind without stopping and his smart wolf patiently heard him all.
He felt so much better after voicing these out even though they are in his head, in front of his wolf.
It still helped a lot.
‘Why won’t she hate us?’ His wolf suddenly asked, confusing Dominic.
‘What do you mean? She is our mate.She is supposed to love us"
Dominic eximed in frustration, making his wolf sigh in his head
‘‘Sometimes I am very proud to have you as my human but sometimes you make me question myself"
His wolf said sarcastically, making him frown deeper.
‘Now don’t get so sassy with me, I will not take you to run for one week straight"
Dominic threatened
‘Okay, fine.But what I meant is, you didn’t give her any reason to love you.Just expecting love isn’t
enough.You have to work hard for it.You have to earn it.You have to take a step toward your woman
and trust me, she will take two steps toward you" His wolf said in a m tone, surprising him.
‘You sound like a love guru But what is that one step?’ He asked,pletely clueless.
‘You rejected her, Dominic’
‘Yes, I am aware of that I regret it badly but why are you pointing this out? Do you want to criticise
me?’ These are the moments when I question myself.
But whatever, did you take your rejection back, genius? His wolf scowled at him i nirntation and his
eyes widened in shock and realisation.
He finally understood where he was making mistakes.
‘Oh my, thatpletely slipped my mind. I will take my rejection back as soon as I am back!’ He
eximed in happiness, showing a little light already
The thought took his mind away from every negative things, away from Stacey and Derrick, away from
the problems at the border
From the border, he remembered something and stopped in his tracks.
He looked around himself and found himself away from his territory border. He was still in the North
region so it was still his territory but it was still another alpha’s territory as well.
He shouldn’t have entered here considering all the things that’s happening regarding borders.
He quickly turned around to get back to his Pack’s territory while thinking about the things that’s
happening from the past few days From the past few days, different bodies have been found near his
border
And by different he meant, the bodies belonged to different people from packs and at the same time
from rogues as well.
The faces of the people are destroyedpletely.
That’s why nobody could detect yet from which pack those people are Just by smell they are able to
identify the difference from pack members or fogues.
They have sent news to the packs around them if they had any missing people or not.
But for some weird reason, no positive response came yet which says that they have missing
members
They are thinking that these people might not belong to his region Now the question that arises is, why
is this person doing this, why is he leaving the body in front of his Pack’s border only?
There are hundreds of packs around the world So, if these people actually belong to different regions,
it’s clear that whoever is doing this, he’s trying to create problems between Alpha leaders.
Not only a problem, A war This person is trying to create war Between him and who? He was still
thinking about all these things when he suddenly felt a heart crushing pain which made him fall down
on the ground with a thud
He let out a loud howl which made every bird around the ce fly away while making noises He
couldn’t even understand what happened to him until a few secondster
A few secondster, he looked down at his chest and saw an arrow on his chest Silvert He let out
another growl while pulling the arrow by his mouth Blood poured out of the ce as the ce burned
because of the silver
