Chapter 87: The book


    "Oh, moon goddess! Help me! Tell me what I should do to free us all from this misery! I can’t do it


    anymore! You even took away my wolf! My onlypanion, I don''t know what I should do now."


    Athena eximed while looking at the full moon that was shining brightly. She was currently standing


    by the opened window of Dominic’s bedroom from where he jumped a few minutes ago.She could hear


    his faded howling as he kept running further away from the mansion.


    His howling told her about the torture he was going through She knew what she had to do to help him


    out of all of these but she couldn’t do it just yet.


    She needed toplete a few of her targets before she took a step toward him.She was so helpless at


    that moment.She didn’t realize when a drop of tear rolled down her cheeks.She quickly came out of


    those thoughts as she wiped away the tears.


    Then she put on a determined look on her face as she walked away from the window.She walked


    toward a cupboard and brought the book out which Patricia brought that day.She wanted to read it


    herself and see if she found something.She couldn’t waste more time and this seems to be the perfect


    time to read it.


    "I need to find the answer with at least one clue.I can’t waste any more time or wait for the girls." She


    said to herself with a frown a s she looked at the book with determination.


    "How good it was going to be if my wolf was here with me! She would have helped me in figuring out so


    many things! Where are you, partner? Come back soon.I miss you."


    She whispered to herself with closed eyes before opening her eyes.She let out onest sigh before


    opening the book, preparing herself for whatever she was going to get out of it.She opened the book


    and started reading the book from the start.


    It was a big fat book.


    Good thing that she loved to read and hope she won’t get bored in the middle. She couldn’tplete


    high school.She had to drop out at the end moment because of Robert.She has always been a bright


    student.

    Robert used to give her a target every morning.


    A target on how much she has to steal throughout the day and hand the money to him.


    He didn’t care what she did as long as shepleted her daily target which she never failed.


    Actually she used to earn more than her daily target, as it was already mentioned that how good of a


    thief she was, she was really good at it.


    So, she used to keep the remaining money to herself and give the targeted money to Robert. Someday


    she used to give him more to make him happy and keep his mind away from business.


    And she used the money to study and for her expenses.


    She nned to be awyer and live in the human world for the rest of her life if her mate rejected her.


    Hence she was studying hard But one day Robert found her stash of money which she kept aside to


    pay for her school fee and he was furious when he found out where she was studying and how she


    was studying.


    That day he beat her a lot.


    But out of respect for her ‘father’ she didn’t say anything or fight back and epted everything.She


    was furious and heart broken. She was angry at her fate.


    That’s why when he ordered her to drop out of school, she did that without another word as she was


    tired of hoping for something good in her life.


    She shook her head toe out of the past thoughts.


    How did she get lost in that?! She let out a sigh and made a mental note to meet with Robert once


    again and talk regarding her past once again to see if she can get some more things out of him or not.


    With that thought in mind, she started reading the book.


    The book started with basic werewolf signs and all.


    Before she was introduced to the four regions.She started reading it

    She read out loud She pulled up her shirt and looked at the sign on her waist with a frown "What


    significance do you hold?"She whispered and started reading the book again. She was half way


    through it.


    She had just finished the East and West regions part She was going to enter into the North region


    when she heard a loud growling from the jungle and felt a killing pain in her heart She dropped to


    the floor while clutching het heart as she ched out loud "DOMINIC"
