Chapter 82: Athena’s thinking


    "Mommy? Mommy!"


    Athena jumped out of the thoughts she was in after hearing Ace’s loud voice, calling her.


    She looked at him with widened eyes and found him looking at her with a confused frown and a cute


    little pout.


    An apologetic smile immediately came up on her face.


    "I am so sorry, baby! Mommy was thinking something."


    She apologised while kissing his cute nose, making him giggle.Sheughed seeing his scrunched up


    nose and kissed it again.


    "What do you think, mommy?" He asked in a cute and confused tone as he looked up at her from the


    kitchen b where he was sitting at that moment.


    They were currently in the kitchen, preparing dinner together.

    "I know what you’re thinking, mommy." Ace suddenly spoke up, taking her attention to him.


    She was a little taken aback by the serious look on his face.She just realised how simr he looked to


    Dominic at that moment.


    Even though Ace looked a lot like her, his expressions made him look like a splitting copy of Dominic.


    He was an angry young man like his father, the thought made her smile.


    His smile, his expressions, his reaction and everything, it was enough to let the whole world know


    whose son he was.He didn’t need the scent to prove that and she could say Dominic had noticed it all

    arms and looking at him with a smile.


    He nodded his head with a grin.


    "Yes, mommy." He said with a mysterious glint in his eyes which made her look at him with a raised


    eyebrow.


    "So, tell me what I am thinking. Share it with mommy."


    She said with a smile before picking up a dish with her other hand carefully. She was wearing a glove


    which was preventing the heat of the hot bowl from reaching her hand a little.


    She needed to walk inside the dining room fast before she lost her grip over it and it fell all over the


    ground.She checked everything inside the kitchen once again before turning around to leave.Then she


    walked out of the kitchen with Ace and a dish in her hands.


    As it was already dinner time, she was setting up the dining table.


    "You won’t be angry?" Ace asked after a lot of thinking over if he should share this with her or not.


    She looked at him with squinted eyes even though there was a smile at the corner of her lisp.


    Her son was getting smarter with his words everyday.


    He was considering her temper before talking!


    "You are getting so smart, huh? Naughty kid! Tell me, what’s going on in your little cute head.I will not


    be angry.I can never get angry at you, my baby "She said with a big smile as shended a side kiss on


    his forehead while walking still.


    "You are thinking of my super hero, right?" Ace suddenly spoke up out of nowhere.


    She was doing things very casually and she wasn’t ready for this innocent question from her son The


    question made her stop on her way abruptly She didn’t realize when her one leg got tangled with


    another and before she knew it, the dish was slipping away from her hand and she was falling down


    Her eyes widened and the only thing that came to her mind at that moment was to save Ace from the


    fall So she didn’t think of anything else and let go of the dishpletely and embraced Ace tightly,
