Rezen stared at his status window. There was the addition of the Metal and Ice element but since they are only at the 1st fusion rank right now, they aren’t necessarily useful
The spells he mostly uses are the ones that he has 3rd fusion rank gems as they are the strongest
Rezen knows to himself that personally, he is untalented but he doubts that there would be a mage at his rank that can defeat him
“Time to start my revenge” he muttered coldly before sending an order to his crows
The more than a thousand crows pped their wings and they flocked around him. Rezen stepped on the crows and have them fly around him towards one of the Mountain Range around the Greenwood City
It was still the Eye of the Storm Mountain Range
Turns out that Keito is not the only Lord from the Twighlight Beast that is hunting magic beasts in that Mountain Range
To create wolf-type werebeast nuclei, corpses of wolves are needed. The ingredients differ depending on what the nuclei would be
Keito’s senior wanted a Bizarre Eagle-type werebeast nuclei as that magic beast is one of the stronger magic beasts. In return, Keito’s senior would also be stronger
However, to create the nuclei, more than one corpse of Bizarre Eagle is needed and the other Lords under Keito’s senior are instructed to hunt Bizarre Eagles
That’s already a very good clue. Rezen just has to find people that are hunting Bizarre Eagles. If those people use the [Formation Magic: Harmony of Ten Beasts] then no doubt that they are members of Twighlight Beasts
Rezen had his crows fly him to the mountain range and after they arrived, he had some of them search for suitable targets

The very core of that formation was the only 4th fusion rank mage. The power of the others was transferred to her as she fought with the Bizarre Eagle on her own

The mage created arge lump of white crystals in front of her powered up by her subordinates’ strength and also the power of nature that blocks the beam attack of the Bizarre Eagle
These eagles’ energy beams aren’t normally something that an average mage could block considering that their attack was thebination of the power of three elements
However, with the help of the formation, the mage managed to block the energy beam quite easily
“My first prey” Rezen thought as he stared at these ten mages inside the invisible barrier that would prevent the Bizarre Eagle from escaping if it tried to
Rezen waved his hand and a piece of broli appeared on his hand
It was said that brolis increase a man’s libido but this mutated broli of Rezen increases something else
He threw the broli inside his mouth and chewed it a bit before swallowing
He can feel heat spreading from his stomach to the rest of his body. The mana inside his elixir field stirred. Even his mystic gems glowed
The mutated broli instead of increasing Rezen’s libido boosted his power
He has his personal strength and he has his crows but it was better to be cautious or he might encounter a dangerous situation again

The tattoos were on his arms, legs, torso, and even face. These tattoos just like mystic gems resonate with the naturalws
Rezen called out his lightning-type gem and both his mystic gem and mystic tattoo resonated with the naturalws, boosting his power by arge margin thanks to his [Link] blessing
The power of lightning gathered at Rezen’s fist. Sparks of lightning rage on his fist, ready to deal devastating damage any time from now
With a serious expression on his face, Rezen moved his arm to charge before his fist punched the air

That punch sent a thick blue streak of lightning straight to the invisible barrier. Its power was deadly and lethal
It flew at a very fast speed that none of the mages inside the formation has the time to react especially since they were in the middle of a fight

The lightning streak collided with the barrier causing it to shake heavily and cracks formed on it
Even 4th fusion rank mages cannot easily destroy that barrier even if the casters let them attack the barrier
However, Rezen which is only at the 3rd rank managed to create cracks in it
His action causes the casters’ focus to falter, including the only 4th-rank mage
She unconsciously turned her head to check what happened which was a bad decision on her part as the Bizarre Eagle uses that chance to attack
An attack that resulted in that female mage losing one of her arms

With the help of the formation, 4th rank mages would have an easy time defeating and killing even magic beasts at the Bizarre Eagle’s level
However, it doesn’t mean that they couldn’t be injured especially if there is an external factor included
“Who’s there?!” The female mage shouted angrily while holding what remains of her arm
Unfortunately, the Bizarre Eagle doesn’t give her time to think or act. It pped its wings wildly and raging winds revolved inside the barrier
The winds cut and abused the surrounding trees, even the grass was cut or uprooted
Splinters flew around and the members of Twighlight Beast has no choice but to refocus on the Bizzare Eagle
Unfortunately for them, Rezen is still not finished yet
“Nightmare Crows, attack!” Rezen ordered and his Nightmare Crows that hid in the shadows showed themselves
Normally, the female mage at the 4th rank has a soul strong enough to notice the Nightmare Crows
But since she is busy with the Bizarre Eagle, she failed to notice their presence
A thousand and five hundred Nightmare Crows emerged from the shadows. They collectively opened their beaks to send purple beams of energy that mmed on the invisible barrier

4th fusion rank mages might have the ability to kill all of Rezen’s Nightmare Crows but it doesn’t mean that these many crows were nothing

Without the support of the formation, the female mage is definitely not a match for the Bizarre Eagle
She can only do her best to control the sheet of crystal she was standing on to dodge
But even then, a part of her crystal sheet was still crushed under the might of the eagle’s w
Even her left leg was cut off easily. Her flesh and bones don’t even offer the slightest bit of resistance before they were sliced offpletely

The pain of losing a limb is no joke but the female mage’s only chance of survival is to try fleeing from here but that is when she heard Rezen’s voice

Aside from glowing brighter than usual, nothing else happened to the mystic gem itself but the same is not true for the people he deemed as his ‘enemy’
