Chapter 805 Stay In The Cao Mansion
"Alyssa?" Rocky couldn''t help but smile at the sound of Alyssa''s name. She was definitely going to be
surprised at Rocky''s sight.
"Mr. Rookie, what''s wrong?" Luci asked, noticing Rocky''s weird expression.
"Oh, nothing. I''m just thinking of the Beast Master Contest," Rocky replied.
"Do you want to be part of the contest?" Luci thought Rocky was acting strange. He already
expressed disinterest, yet suddenly he was thinking about it. She would have doubted him if not for his
earnest expression.
"I don''t think I''m strong enough for that." Rocky did not want to be part of the contest. He just wanted to
see Woods.
"But Lucas thinks highly of you. I trust his judgment," Luci said with hesitation.
"I''m afraid I might disappoint you." Rocky shook his head. "Anyway, it''s gettingte. You better head
back." Rocky directed his gaze to the sky. It was almost dusk. He smiled curtly at Luci before
heading back to his room. Luci was left alone in confusion.
"What a mysterious guy! I have a feeling he''s hiding something. I''ve never seen anyone quite like him.
No wonder Lucas found him special," Luci muttered under her breath as she left the Osmanthus
Yard.
As soon as Rocky was back in his room, Juey showed up.
"Mr. Rookie, where have you been? Why are you sote?" Juey asked.
"Nowhere," Rocky replied, shaking his head.
Juey asked Rocky something about the surgery. They talked until deep into the night.
When Juey left, Rocky entered the Magic Spiritual Space.
He''d been staying with Juey for a few days so he wasn''t able to release the Rainbow Glow Unicorn.
That creature lost its patience easily. As soon as it saw Rocky, it ran excitedly towards him.
"I know you feel bored here, but you have to stay for a few more days," Rocky spoke as he patted the
unicorn. His heart sank at the sight of its pitiful eyes.
Robin, the beast cub, also ran towards Rocky and smothered him. It was growing fast and was much
taller than when it first arrived at the Barren City. It now reached Rocky''s chest.
After ying with the two beasts for a while, Rocky went into theboratory. As usual, he started to
study the red egg of Uriah.
Rocky had tried many things just to figure out what was hidden in the red egg. He even tried the
Mysterious Beast Transformation Skill but without any sess. He was almost certain the egg had
something to do with Uriah''s resurrection.
"Uriah, how can I bring you back to life?" Rocky stared at the red egg and sighed. He was starting to
feel hopeless.
He spent four hours studying the red egg but had failed to make any progress. He set it aside and
chose to study the samples of spirit-manipted beasts he had collected. He had a handful from the
Magical Beast House which he had acquired before his departure from the Xiao n. He also had
more from his journey. He had enough samples to keep him preupied for a while.
Rocky already had significant insights on the genomes of thest group he had studied. Theoretically,
he couldpare these genomes to infer the basic gic sequences of spirit-manipted beasts.
Once he figured that out, he could know how the genes of different spirit-manipted beasts changed
and mutated. In that way, he could perfect the genes of spirit-manipted beasts and create the
ultimate beast.
Rocky busily tested the sample of the spirit-manipted beast named Silver Thorn Turtle. Suddenly, he
felt something stab his finger. He looked at his bleeding finger. The silver thorns on the sample had
poked through his finger.
He was reaching for a gauze when he saw the red egg beside him emit a ray of dim light. He quickly
hurried over to check it out.
Then, he saw a slender red threade out of the red egg. It swayed and then shot towards his hand.
Suddenly, the thread entangled itself around Rocky''s bleeding finger. It absorbed the blood and, after it
was done, it returned to the red egg.

Then, he immediately picked up a scalpel and scratched his finger until it bled. He let his blood drip on
the red egg, but it didn''t do anything to it.
"This is so strange!" Rocky was puzzled. He used the Mysterious Visual Evaluation Skill and Stroking
Evaluation Skill to check the red egg again, but there was still no reaction. Suddenly, the egg became
lifeless again.
"What''s happening? This is so weird," Rocky murmured. He reached for a container and stored a few
drops of blood inside it. He ced the container near the red egg.
He continued to experiment and observe the egg, but he couldn''t get it to react at all.
A few momentster, Rocky decided it was time to leave and give up for the day.
After he walked out, a red thread came out of the red egg and shot into the container. It absorbed a few
drops of blood and quietly returned to the egg.
When he was back in his room, Rocky began to cultivate by using the Sea Blue Magic Jade. Slowly, he
fused with the power that had been released from the thirdyer of seal in his body.
The day passed quickly.
When morning came, Rocky immediately searched for Juey. He wanted to take her to the famous high-
grade beast farm in the capital. However, when he went to her room, he only saw a maidservant
cleaning the bed and arranging the sheets. Juey had already left.
"Where is Miss Juey, the woman who was staying here?" Rocky asked the maidservant.
"Are you Mr. Rookie? Miss Juey was summoned to meet the chief of the Xiao n. She said if you
want to see her, you can go to the wing house of the Xiao n to look for her," the maidservant
responded.
Rocky nodded, asked about the location of the Xiao n''s wing house, and then proceeded to head
for the wing house.
