Chapter 213 Took The Green Hand Along
That day, as Rocky had raced to the Spiritual Fairnd, he hid his carriage in a secret corner, then set
foot in the Fairnd alone. The moment Rocky reached the beautiful scenery of the Spiritual Fairnd,
he was able to feel the threat lurking there. Due to his past encounters with the spirit-manipted
beast, he could sense the beast''s presence everywhere. And it was very strong, too.
With the utmost caution, Rocky marched along the footsteps left by the other spirit maniptors. He
saw many bodies of spirit-manipted beasts along the way, as well as some bodies of other spirit-
maniptors. Yet, thanks to the efforts of those predecessors who removed the obstacles on the way,
Rocky was now able to reach the interior of the Spiritual Fairnd without any trouble.
Rocky knew that it would not be an easy task to find either the precious treasure or the Rainbow Glow
Unicorn even if they really existed in this Fairnd. Although he could now enticed the Rainbow Glow
Unicorn to show up by magical saliva, he might not be able to subdue it by his current cultivation base.
After all, the Rainbow Glow Unicorn wasparatively strong. Rather than risking his chance, he
would like to observe the situation for a little longer in order to establish a good haunt. At this point, it
was the best choice for him to blend in within the group of spirit maniptors, so that he would not
have to deal with the unnecessary risk on his own.
Suddenly, he was struck by a thought as he watched those spirit maniptors for a few seconds.
Rocky squatted down and smeared his robe and his face with the dirt on the ground. And he seemed to
have just emerged from an extreme circumstance. Then, he rushed in to the spirit maniptors in a
panic expression.
Gathered under the old tree, the spirit maniptors were on immediate alert as they saw the bushes
vibrating violently a few meters away. In secret, they had gathered their spiritual power ready to fight for
any possible attacks. At that moment, they saw a dirty and messy maning from behind the tree.
"Help!" The scrambling figure was, of course, Rocky. He hurled toward the spirit maniptors, as if
fleeing from some terrifying and deadly beast that was running after him.
The spirit maniptors looked warily at the back of Rocky, as his panicking flight made them anxious
about the situation. Yet, after some tense moments of safety, nothing came up. They turned to check
Rocky''s build and observe the extent of his strength. The spirit maniptors immediately realized that it
was just Rocky who had overreacted. The realization made them break into fits ofughter. "Hey, aren''t
you overestimating yourself? How dare youe to the Spiritual Fairnd? Do you want to die here?"

"Oh, my brothers, help me out!" Rocky sprinted in front of the spirit maniptors as he cried, still in
great fear.
"Is this guy losing his mind? Why is he still yelling for help, even though nothing ising up?" Asked
by one of the spirit maniptors with disdain as he red at the frightened Rocky.
"Why are you here, young man? Based on what we have observed, we think it is too dangerous for you
toe to this Fairnd," Carl asked in a very serious manner.
"I havee here with many people. I have learned that there are a lot of treasures and spiritual
beasts. But not long after we reached this area, we were blocked by a very powerful wild spirit-
manipted beast. Before I could see how it looked, all mypanions were killed. I had bent back to
run here," Rocky said in a terrified voice. He didn''t waste his acting talent.
"I think you and yourpanions are a bunch of idiots who fail to understand your own boundaries!
How dare youe here to look for treasures and the spiritual beasts at your present cultivation base?
It''s nothing more than a suicidal attempt to me," the yellow-haired spirit maniptor taunted as he
gloated over Rocky''s suffering. It looked like he was having fun.
"Archer, stop kicking this young man when he''s down already. He had suffered enough," Tod frowned
as he talked to the spirit maniptor in ginger hair.
"Brother, can I go along with you? I feel that all of you are very strong. It must be safe toe along
with you. I just want to leave here safe and sound. It is too dangerous. I''m afraid I can''t leave here alive
by myself," Rocky begged in an innocent look to Tod. He knew this man was the leader of this group
and he looked kind enough to take him along.

"Tod, you do not really want to take this burden with us, do you?" Archer, the spirit maniptor in
yellow hair eximed in surprise as he saw Tod pausing in hesitation.
The other spirit maniptors also chimed in with Archer. Because they thought Rocky''s survival rate
was too low that he must be a drag on the group. He would have hindered their process to search the
treasure and the Unicorn if they took him along.
"But isn''t it too inhumane if we leave him here alone? It''s true that his strength and experience are
weak but he is a spirit maniptor. He should be able to protect himself. I don''t think he''s going to be
such a burden and dy us in the process. I''m afraid he''s going to be killed here sooner orter if we
leave him alone in this Fairnd. We are all spirit maniptors. We shall help each other under this
kind of dangerous situations." This was what Tod stated. He looked at the rest of the spirit
maniptors.
"But..." Archer still wanted to say something but chose to remain quiet because he had realized that
Tod seemed to be determined by his decision.
Considering to the fact that Tod was their leader, the other spirit maniptors also chose to keep their
protests in mind.
"Hey, dude, you''re not going to lower down your guard just because you''re with us. You''re supposed to
watch your back carefully. Don''t be a burden on our schedule, otherwise..." Archer clenched his fist at
Rocky as an unsettling warning.
"Yes! Yes, I will," Rocky nodded his head quickly to demonstrate his full understanding of Archer''s
warning. Yet his smooth lips had a sly smile as he bowed his head.
None of the spirit maniptors had any idea about Rocky''s facade. Everything was under Rocky''s
control now. And they werepletely fooled by him.
"I am Tod Cao. What is your name, young man?" Tod greeted by introducing himself.
"My name is Rookie," he answered. Rocky could not reveal his true name so he just made up one
randomly.
"Rookie? That''s quite you," Archer sneered. Rookie reminded him of the image of an idiot.
The other spirit maniptors had burst intoughter, thinking the same thing as Archer about Rocky''s
supposed name.
Immediately, several spirit-manipted beasts rushed back from different directions. They seemed to
have just finished scouting the way. Among the spirit-manipted beasts, there was one single-horned
beast with snow white fur identical to the form of a wolf. It approached Tod and suddenly howled.
"Hurry, let''s go this way!" Tod pointed to one direction after he heard the howls of the wolf-like spirit-
manipted beast.
In a snap, Rocky left the ce along with the spirit maniptors under the guidance of Tod. They
continued to move deeper into the Spiritual Fairnd.
It was because of Tod that Rocky learned more about the Spiritual Fairnd. It was a very bignd that
was divided into three districts from outside to inside. The ce where they had stopped before was
the end of the first district, also called the peripheral area of the Spiritual Fairnd. They had spent two
days finishing their journey in the first district, since they had to spend time dealing with the powerful
beasts that seemed to block their way. This only proved how dangerous the Spiritual Fairnd was.
The closer to the core of the Spiritual Fairnd, the higher the risk.
If the first district was taken as a dangerous ce, the second district was even more terrifying. The
wild spirit-manipted beasts from the first district were equivalent to spirit maniptors at the fifth or
the sixth grade of the Mortal Stage. The strongest ones would be barely equal to the spirit maniptors
at the seventh grade of the Mortal Stage. However, it was another story in the second district. The
power of the wild spirit-manipted beasts was much stronger in this district.
They encountered two wild spirit-manipted beasts which were equal to the spirit maniptor at the
seventh grade of the Mortal Stage shortly after they reached the second district. The two beasts were
well-built and vicious in nature.
"Everybody, disperse and exterminate them now!" Upon Tod''smand, all the spirit maniptors split
with their own spirit-manipted beasts immediately to encircle the two wild spirit-manipted beast.
They spread out a formation they used to engage with other wild beasts in the first district.
Almost immediately, Rocky withdrew himself from the group to see how Tod led the spirit maniptors
to battle the two powerful wild spirit-manipted beasts.
Rocky had to admit that as the leader of the group, Tod was capable enough. He knew exactly where
the Achilles'' heel was of both wild beasts. Even though the average cultivation base of the group barely
reached the seventh grade of the Mortal Stage, they were overpowering the battle with their number
and the leadership of Tod.
Eventually, they subdued the two wild beasts roughly half an hourter. With the exception of Tod,
every spirit maniptor sat down on the ground, panting exhaustedly. The smug image of them in the
first district was gone. They looked worn out now. Although the two wild spirit-manipted beasts were
defeated, some spirit maniptors were also hurt inbat. This was because the wild beasts were
stronger in the second district.
Although Rocky was content to be a spectator, he would have done it in less than half an hour without
any trouble on his own. But he had made up his mind that he wouldn''t do anything unless he had to.
He wanted to preserve his power for the treasure and subdue the spiritual beast that he was looking
