Micah’s point of view
Sitting in the bar, I sipped on my beer as I thought of everything that happened. Thest few weeks have been stressful and, of course, Mateo is not making things easier with him insisting that I <b>should </b>just ept <b>everything </b>that is happening.
“Mind if I join your” Daniel asked <b>me </b>as I sighed <b>heavily</b>, ignoring him while I fixed my attention on the ss before me.
“I know you don’t like to hear this,” he said, pulling the chair <b>closer </b>to mic,

Even though Kate insisted that we wee her cousin into the pack a few years ago, I do not like the idea of having a stranger working in the pack.
“Zara is an innocent person” he started as I exhaled heavily turning to look at him, he wasn’t thinking of having g this conversation with me
“She just found herself in this mess. She didn’t choose this life. She was gifted this,” He continued as I exhaled heavily, turning to look at him.
“Is that what she asked you to do? Toe here and talk to me.” I raised <b>my </b>eyebrows as he shook his head.
“I <b>thought </b>Kate was your cousin?” I narrowed my eyebrows.
“She is. But that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t speak the truth,” He said to me as I sighed heavily, gulping down the alcohol in my ss and trying to stand up
“Oh please. Don’t leave it on my ount. I just thought I should tell you that,” he said to me as he <b>grabbed </b>his beer and made his way out of the bar.

I cursed as I pulled more whiskey, gulping down everything. <b>Not </b>getting satisfied with drinking from the ss, I began drinking from the boule.
I needed to forget <b>about </b>her. Needed to get her out of my mind. All I needed to do was just forget about her.
Why does <b>it </b>hurt me when I see her crying? 1 inwardly asked myself, drinking everything from the bottle.
Maybe it’s because she’s meant to be ours, Axel retorted as I shook my head
“Hey!
Give me another <b>one</b>!” I ordered another bottle as I <b>ced </b>a few dors on the table.

“Axel. Get us home,” I ordered, knowing too well my wolf couldn’t be drink.
Taking the first step, I let him take <b>charge </b><b>as </b>he took us back home. Running through the trees, I missed the way the <b>air </b>felt flowing through my fur
The way the ground feels when I connect to it. Making my way into the house, it was too quiet as I went up to my room.
We had briefly moved into one of the guest rooms because Kate wanted to remodel our bedroom, so here I was making my way into the bed.
“Kate?” I shouted as I opened the door to the room.
Everything felt like it was spinning, the <b>ground </b>closer to me as I <b>chuckled </b>softly.
“Oh, my god!” Kate shouted as 1 chuckled softly/

“Please stay away from me,” she said, trying toe closer to me as I swallowed hard. “Axel, help me out here.” I said to my wolf, letting him take

“No! No!” The voice came as I pulled Kase, throwing her to the bed. And she tried to move away. /
“Running her! You know how I love it when you y hard to get” <b>I </b><b>chuckled </b>sofily as I grabbed her by her ankle, pulling her closer to me.
“Get off me. Micah!” She said <b>as </b>I smiled at myself.
“Help me forget that girl,” I whispered to her as I pulled down my trousers and boots.
“Please leave” She cried as I pulled her closer, nting my lips on her <b>neck</b>.
“Am sorry about earlier,” Lapologized to her <b>as </b>I let out my canines.

Chapter 19
“I will forget her,” I whispered as I spread her <b>legs</b>, and I pushed myself into her.
“Oh, yes!” I cried <b>as </b><b>I </b>held her down on the bed,
“<b>Please </b><b>no</b>. No!” She tried to fight me off, but I thrust into her harder… with my eyes closed while my canines dug deeper <b>into </b>her flesh
“I love you Kate,” I whispered to her as I thrust into her again, Letting Axel take over for the rest of the marking.
I wanted him to feel her, to ept her as well as his mate. This is what we wanted, not some girl who doesn’t even know how many mates she has,
The next morning when I woke up, I couldn’t recall much of what happenedst night because of the memory loss that Axel <b>was </b>experiencing
My head was pounding as I tried to recall what happened. Looking around the <b>room</b>, I couldn’t help but wonder what had happened
I hated drinking, but all I wanted to do was <b>just </b>forget about that girl. I <b>hated </b>having thought about her.
Grabbing my things. I looked at Kate’s <b>things </b><b>on </b>the side of the bed <b>as </b>I dragged myself up. I took a quick shower then changed into something new, heading out
“Micah. We need you here. There’s been an attack‘ Mateo linked to me as I made my

“What the hell happened?” I asked as I reached the training ground where two bodiesy on the ground naked and their eyes plucked out.
“What’s this?” I asked <b>as </b>Mateo sighed heavily. “Where did <b>you </b>find them?”
“Who found them?” I asked them as Mateo moved aside, exposing <b>Zara</b>, who was right behind him.
“She found them in the forest.”
“What the hell were you doing there?” I asked her as she sniffled back, unable to speak, as he looked at me.
“I think she must be shocked. I asked Daniel to <b>do </b>a sweep. He exined as I looked at the girl failing to
to make
eye contact with me.
Something was off about all of this.
