Chapter 37- Amara
“YOU ARE MINE.” He growled. His parents tried to pull him down but failed to do so. “I WILL KILL
HIM.”
I lost control. I growled at him in warning. He advanced on us but Mathew and Ryan were quick enough
to stop him. I was getting angrier at his audacity. Steven growled at him but he growled back and
shifted into his wolf. He pounced on Steven taking us all by surprise. Asher looked to have lost control.
Steven was holding his own but I was still livid. The guys were trying to help but Asher had gone mad.
Rage took over me when Asher wed at Steven’s stomach and blood started to pour out. I felt my
bones snap and in a second I was on all fours, taller than before. I pounced on Asher without a second
thought and dragged him away from my mate by the scruff of his neck. He tried to escape but I bit
harder on his neck making him whimper.
“Submit.” I ordered him in the mind link keeping my paw on him.
He resisted. I am done with this one.
“SUBMIT PUP.” The alpha in me took over at his disrespect.
Asher whimpered and sunk low on his belly, barring his neck at me. Papa was also partially in control.
That made it impossible from him to resist.
“Shift.”
He shifted lying there pitifully at my feet butt naked. Arthur and Christine came running towards us and
sank to their knees.
“Have mercy on him alpha. We beg you please.” Arthur said with his neck barred at me.
But I am out for blood. I want him dead. How dare he hurt my mate?
“Love.” Steven’s voice brought me out of my madness.
My head snapped towards him. He was already healed. I growled looking at his torn shirt and the blood
covering it. Asher has to die.
“Leave him be love.” Steven saiding towards me. He rubbed my fur gently making me purr. “I am
alright. That guy doesn’t even deserve to be killed by you.” Asher whimpered. “He is pitiful as he is. He
is already getting punished for hurting you by losing such a wonderful person as a mate.”
His words made sense. I gave Asher’s quivering self once over and stepped away from him. I stood
taller than Steven. I breathed in his scent to calm myself down.
“How about shifting back?” he asked smiling at me.
I nodded my big head at him. I felt my bones snap back to my human body. He embarrassed my naked
body in his arms and buried his nose in my neck turning me away from everyone’s eyes. The
possessive bastard. My body felt stronger than before. Leo’s mate, Ste gave me a dress which I
slipped on immediately. Everyone looked shaken and shocked as hell. Christine and Arthur hurried
Asher away. A scared blonde girl followed them after bowing her head to me. She looked like the same
girl I walked in on in Asher’s bed.
“Sorry guys for ruining the party.” I apologized.
“It’s not your fault. He had thating.” Stan said.
Everyone hummed in agreement.
“How the hell did you shift?” Mathew asked.
“Um that’s a long story. I will tell you guyster.” I replied shifting from one foot to another.
“You are bigger than Leo.” Ryan stated. “Your wolf looked simr to his but bigger and more dominant.”
I didn’t knew what to say anymore.
“Isn’t that Alpha Hercules?” Stan asked thoughtfully.
I nodded. Everyone looked at me shocked.
“He became my wolf to save my life when Asher was cheating on me.” I told them.
They are my pack. They have every right to know that.
“So do we have two alphas then?” Abigail asked.
“No. Leo will always be the alpha. If it wasn’t for the circumstances I wouldn’t have had papa as my
wolf. Besides Leo is the rightful heir. I will never take that away from him or my brother.” I said with
finality.
“I know you won’t Amy.” Leo said smiling at me.
I can feel Tyler lurking behind his eyes. They both looked proud of me.
“Can we eat please? I am starving.” Alec whined from his seat.
Just like that the tension dissolved away. Steven discarded the rest of his shirt, his sculpted chest full
on disy. I licked my lips looking at him with lust. He just smirked at me and took his seat. I huffed
and took my seat beside him. He gave me an innocent smile and started piling my te with delicious
food. I just shook my head and started eating. The table was filled withughter. I finally felt at home.
After dinner we all went to our ces. Cassidy and Grayson went to stay at Alec’s apartment. Aaron
stayed over at Carter’s as Caleb has apanied Alec. Austin, Steven and I are staying at the house
Aaron and I were taken for the first time for interrogation when we first met the pack. It’s sort of like a
meeting house. The Knights were generous enough to give Steven and Austin blood bags. We can’t
actually carry blood bags in the ne, can we now? We do have to get up early as Leo has called for a
pack meeting at seven in the morning to everyone’s dismay.
In the morning, the shifters and their mates along with Cassidy and Grayson gathered at the meeting

house we were staying at. Grumbling may I add. Asher and his mate were not present. Most were
ring at Leo, including his own mate. Even Alex, Oliver and Natalie were present. This looks serious.
We all made ourselvesfortable in the main hall and Leo closed the door.
“Most of us know why we have gathered here.” Leo started when everyone had quieted down. “It’s
because of the intrusion of the vampires. Three days ago we received a letter from them as you all
know. They demanded something from us.” Holly shit! What do these vampires want? “They expect us
to give in to their demand willingly but off course we won’t. They gave us till new year to think but we
are ready to fight. I won’t force anyone to fight though. It’s all up to you.”
“What do they want?” Steven asked.
Leo looked hesitant.
“The spirit walker.” He said looking at me with a glum expression.
I looked at him confused out of my mind. Steven was no different.
“He is talking about you princess.” Papa’s voice rang in my head, startling me.
“Papa.” I idently said out loud.
