Chapter 43: Ambush.


    A mile to the house and a huge wind started blowing around the car, it seemed they couldn''t drive


    unless they wanted to get into ident.


    They got out of the car and saw that it was foggy and the wind was heavy. Having looked at the car,


    they knew that it wasn''t important anymore as it was of no help. So they decided to walk to the house


    but the lights on the streets started to flicker, it turned on of off.


    They blocked the wind with their hands and moved forward the least bothered about what was going on


    in their surrounding.


    Absalom looked at his watch and shouted,


    “It is supposed to be morning what do you think is happening here?”


    Logan shrugged and shouted too saying,


    “I have no idea about what is happening but what if there''s another ambush in front of us? We can


    hardly see in this wind. ”


    And he wasn''t wrong, a pack of wolves awaited them a few meters away from them.


    They pushed forward strongly and then a few meters forward, they stepped out of the wind, they looked


    at their back and saw that everything had disappeared. They looked at each other astonished and


    where they stood, everything was clear and the sun had risen.


    But then they felt the presence of rogues but they weren''t in front of them so they looked around and


    saw that they were hiding in the buildings on their left and the forest on their right.


    Logan looked at Absalom and nodded and he nodded back so Logan stood at the back of Abs and


    morning and the people in that area had not woken up. But then the sun had risen so it was surprising


    that not a soul had woken up.


    A few seconds and the rogues starteding out from their hiding ces and almost a hundred


    rogues stood in front of them. Their leader came forward and looked at them then he changed into a


    human. A smirk yed on his lips as he looked at them. Logan was still in his mind when he heard that


    voice, so he finalized what he wanted to say and looked at the person who had just spoken.


    They identified themselves immediately and a smirk yed on Logan''s lips as too. He swiped with


    Absalom and stood in front of him and then looked at the man with mmable eyes. Then he asked,


    “Omega Daniel what an astonishing surprise, thest time I remember, you were trembling under my


    feet. Have you gained enough strength to fight back now?”


    The manughed and retorted in an audacious voice,


    “I would havee for you alone but know what? You''ve being sold out to us, I should have said that


    but no that would make you feel precious so the thing is we''ve been paid to kill you. ”


    “So how much was I worth? How much will you gain from killing me? I would have been disgraced if

    you came alone but since you came with your pack, I feel you still respect me, because you know there


    was no way you could touch my toes not to talk of killing me. ” Logan inquired feeling likeughing and


    looking down on Daniel.


    They walked towards each other as they spoke each one surrounded by his aura, but then, a green


    light started glowing from Logans body. Absalom saw this and moved away from him surprised but then


    he remembered what he had told him concerning his many abilities so he feared no more.


    The pack behind Daniel started trembling in fear and this got Daniel furious so he shouted at them,


    “Be alert and stop trembling this is an illusion it''s not there at all after all he is just an alpha werewolf.


    Ready!!! Attack!!!!”


    They were about to attack when they felt a strong sense of werewolfs behind them, and together with


    their leader, they turned to look at what and saw a thousand wolfsing at them.


    Then they didn''t know where to run to, to the wolfs or to Logan, Daniel saw that they had being trapped


    so he wanted to finish off Logan before running away so he ran towards him in attempt to kill.


    But he stretched his hand the green substance started creeping on his hand and together with his pack


    they started growling in pain.


    Limbs and heads started flying in the air and then a woman who had hidden in one of the alleys


    stepped forward and started throwing fog in the air. Logan saw this and approached to her but she saw


    this and started running away. But could she really ran and who was she?
