    Nadia''s POV


    I hadn''t necessarily had it good in my life, I never wanted to mess with the wrong attachments but fate


    it''s own say in my life. One night stand and pop, a son appeared, I intended to make a rtionship out


    of it but I didn''t know if it was natural or intentional. He just couldn''t stick to one person or should I say

    I let him go even suffering a heartbreak from it but it wasn''t over. Those bastards wouldn''t just let me

    After a stressful night at the office, I decided to go for a ride to release some steam. Even though I


    used to work on weekends, I had decided against that for sometime.


    I drove my Camry through town and listened to music as I sung along. I was a few miles from my


    house when I noticed that a car was following me and it took every turn I did.


    I wasn''t bothered the least because I thought I was armed until I checked to see it was nowhere to be


    found.


    ¡°Damn you Dad, now I am in trouble ¡± I cursed.


    I started speeding up and it followed right behind me, I thought I was on my way home until I saw that I


    was rather on the highway.


    ¡®Shit, who could this be? is this a robbery? are they going to eventually kill me?¡¯ I thought as I kept on


    speeding.


    Then I saw I hadpletely lost my way so I took my phone and quickly sent my location to the police.


    Since I was watching my way, I looked up to see a truck right in front of me and I was running into it in


    a few meters away. So I hurriedly stepped on the brakes and turned the wheel in my left direction but it


    was a huge mistake. I ran straight into the woods and hit a tree directly in front of me, my head crashed


    with the wheel and as a result blood started dripping down my head. Injured and in pain, I opened the


    door and it opened, I thanked my stars I wasn''t locked up and got out if it slowly.


    I looked on the road to find the car that was chasing me stop with the truck too. A man stepped out of


    the car with a gun in his hands and I made a ran for it, it wasn''t that I couldn''t defend myself but I knew


    with guns and me defend less, I couldn''t have too much luck.


    A few minutester, I stopped to check my surrounding to find myself nowhere, fear and frustration ran


    wild in my body. And my shirt stained with so much blood, I was pleased I was in jeans and sneakers


    otherwise I wouldn''t know how I could manage to so far.


    Then suddenly I heard howlsing from where the moon was the brightest and footstepsing my


    way. I wondered how they could trace me so easily in the forest but that was far from the problem at


    hand, they were getting closer and I needed to do something.


    I didn''t know which way to go at that point, to the animals howling or to the peopleing my way, the


    most dangerous among them I didn''t know. So I took to the darkest part and took a wood in my hand. I


    hid behind a tree ready to attack anything that came my way. I heard one loud howl and everything


    went silent, I didn''t know what was happening then.


    Soon I heard human cries and growls.

    A few minutester, and everything went silent again, then I heard a small growl right beside the tree I


    was hiding. I got up silently and quickly peeked at the back if the tree to find, bodies on the ground, as


    to whether they were alive or not I didn''t know. I got back into hiding shaking in fear, the animal growled


    louder and I almost pissed on myself. So I got up once again and mastered all my strength in the wood

    it to find the most brightest green eyes I''ve ever seen.


    I watched it for a few seconds and saw it limp forward and I knew I had injured his left leg. I ran again


    with determination and saw shlightsing my way so I hid behind another tree. I peeked at them to


    find out they were actually the police. They led me out of the forest but then those bloodshot brightest


    green eyes were not leaving my sight.


    I was enchanted by those eyes.

    Being the alpha of the new founded pack had been trying and tiring but it was worth it. My parents and I


    lived in another country but I left them to leave my own life my satisfaction. Upon my arrival, I found


    people of my nature and upon numerous contests, I ended up as their alpha. It was my day off work but


    I was called to deliver woods to someone in the next town. Being alone in the house was a reason I


    took the offer and decided to go. At the age of thirty seven, I had no mate and I had done all I could to


    save myself from any woman all for the one for me.


    I was supposed to go hunting with my pack on the brightest moon light then, but I decided against it. I

    We took the shortest way to her and stood in the dark to see what she was going to do. We saw her


    stand in the middle of nowhere contemting on what to do.


    She took a wood and ran and hid behind a tree, we approached the criminals who were now standing


    at where she was before. We heard other howls from the others and we howled louder to keep them


    off. This alerted the criminals and they looked our way, the rogue wanted to turn so weunched at him


    first reaching for his neck and ripping it apart. Then licked the blood off our mouth.


    The others looked on shock filled in their entire body making them unable to move. We could touch


    their fear in the air, we went closer and growled, they took steps back and intended to run. But we


    weren''t having that, we jumped and our wsnded on their throats, they screamed but it ended as


    soon as it came. The other guy shot his gun but we jumped out of its way and finished him off. Every


    where became quiet as a grave yard and we could hear her heartbeat and her fear. But she wasn''t


    afraid as I thought she would, instead of cowering in fear, she was rather ready to attack. I had wanted


    to turn back to a human but my wolf wanted to see her first, I knew she would be frightened if she saw


    as like that but it wouldn''t listen.


    My wolf made his way to her and she swung the wood, I would have seen her intentions but I was too


    focused with the way her heart beat along with mine in the same sync. The wood unfortunately hit my


    left leg and we growled in pain, she ran away from us but then she suddenly looked back at us. And we


    howled back at her as she turned and ran off once again. I would have healed immediately but I wasn''t


    and I knew she was a mysterious being and I hated her in my bones.

    The pain in my leg vanished gradually after I turned into a human, I tried walking but started limping.

    It wouldn''t have been the first time, for getting into trouble for doing good hence my frequent traveling


    from country to another. But I wasn''t ready to move this time, I wasn''t some rich alpha but I was

    But then, I became confused, I didn''t know where to report to because I was in the middle of two towns.


    So I decided to report at the police station at the town I was taking the wood to and if it wasn''t the

    I did as I said I would and reported to the station but I was told it wasn''t where the case was being


    handled. I drove back to the other town and went to the police station but I was told toe the next

    I went to the boss and reported to him but I ended up being sacked from my job ce because I was

    too afraid for his or her own good. I walked past it but it was as strong as it was than before, I intended


    to ignore it but I couldn''t go forward again.

    I cursed loudly but suddenly turned to look at it.


    I knew that going through the front door was like looking for trouble, so I searched for another way to


    get in. I saw a window not very far from where I was and it was where the heart beat wasing from.


    It was my only way in so I jumped andnded on the building after I had released my ws, then I


    smelt a stench of blood too. I hoped the person in there was alive, and I jumped once again and this

    As soon as I entered my leg ached in pain but I ignored it as much as I could and searched for the


    person. I saw a huge cage in the middle of the dark room with only the the light of the moon that


    peeped into it. Then I saw a little boy holding the bars and watching me, but nothing of his expression


    showed fear but only wonder. But then his heartbeat was destroying my ear drums which surprised me


    greatly, if he wasn''t afraid, then why the loud heartbeat?

    He might not recognize me but I knew him very well. Even though he had saved my life and that of my


    son''s, I still didn''t know why I hated him into my bones. It seems he had done me a grave sin but it was


    also obvious that it was just a few days back that we had met. But the strange feeling of

    eye and walked past my bodyguards, they saw my hurt face but i shook my head not to follow me and

    I got to the room and led her into my bed, I didn''t understand why she was so drunk and yet sane but i


    had to attend to my face first even though I so wanted to be on her as soon as we stepped inside the


    room. I got it treated after calling in the room service for bandages and sterilized alcohol. As soon as I


    was done, I got to her who was sleeping so soundly I didn''t want to disturb her. So i got closer and tried


    to pull off the mask to see who was behind it but as my hand was getting closer to her, I felt an ache on


    my arm. I looked at it to see my arm cut with blood flowing, then I saw her holding a knife still sleeping.


    She was a mysterious woman indeed, the alcohol oozed from her mouth and nose as she breathed so


    I knew she was really drunk otherwise I would have thought she was faking it I attended to the next


    wound and went closer to her once again but she swept away to the far end of the bed so I let her be


    and decided to go and get a little more drunk but then I remembered I had to meet my brother that day


    so I left the room. I woke up the next morning to a stain of blood on the bed and the woman no where


    to be found. Surprisingly, I didn''t remember ever doing anything to her in the first ce. But a few


    months as she kepting to my head, but nowhere to be found, she appeared one day in the same

    and got off and made my way to ce. But then I felt a presence as soon as I went on the route and it


    wasn''t a scent from one of my pack members and it wasn''t a werewolf or human. So I grew anxious


    because I didn''t know the beings identity so I took another route away from the pack house. And


    walked slowly to see what it''s intentions were, but it didn''t do anything at all till I reached the road once


    again after roaming the forest for a while. Then I started jogging back to the town, I got to where I had


    got down from the bus and saw Mr. Martinez''s car packed by the road side. I stood there wondering

    among our sons that has a good heart and I believe has a good will for our kingdom and would serve


    the people and not the riches. ¡±


    The woman opened her eyes slowly and with a smile on her not ageing face said,


    ¡°You are speaking a lot today, are you in a good mood? Do you think he is alright? The oracle said he


    was still alive reaching out to his destiny but his brother reported him dead. Do you think he tried to kill


    him?¡±


    The man looked calm and with a serious face looked away from the woman and brought out his


    opinion.


    ¡°We had not spoken about the throne then, I don''t it would have been necessary for him to do that. I


    believe something happened that neither Absalom or us know about. What surprise me is he has not


    attempted toe back to the kingdom since. Do you think someone may be threatening him?


    I don''t know but I believe, he would be one respected king one day if he manages to the throne.

    Everywhere was calm and the people were going about their business with no worries. What were they

    A few minutester, they saw that even if they waited for the whole day, they weren''t going to get a tiny


    fish. So they came together and thought of a way out and the only result was to use their powers.

    Nadia and Mia had returned to the pack and when they saw the fishes, they were astonished that the
