Chapter 33: A Memory.


    Who would have thought that I would meet her at that moment and she would be that submissive. I had


    gone home and was rxing in bed when I felt like going out for some air. I took for the road and


    started exercising as I listened to music, I had gotten a little tired when I saw that I had gone a little far


    from my house. When the scent came in passing through my nostrils, I stopped immediately and


    looked at her.


    I felt happy instantly but contained myself because it was Nadia and I knew that I had finally found my


    mate and her identity too without doing anything. And that she was both strong witted and also strong


    physically but then she had a hurt face on her face as she winced in pain as she held her hand tightly.


    I felt her pain but surprisingly, it was through my hurt leg instead of anywhere else. I limped towards her


    hurriedly so she didn''t know I limped and wanted to touch her but she ignored me. My wolf immediately


    surged forward recognizing his mate, he asked,


    “Mate why are you annoyed with me?”


    And it was if I had charmed her, she neither moved orin of my touch which sent great rxation

    to my pain. But then she suddenly, ran away from me and off she went but not forgetting to inform me


    of what I termed as a date.


    Until, I dressed up in the evening ready to see my mate and took a taxi instead of a bus and got to the


    ce.


    I went into a restaurant near the ce named Abs restaurant and spa and sat down to wait for any sign


    of her and ordered for a drink.


    I sat down and thought of what the man who imed to father had said about someone called Absalom


    my brother.


    But then I wasn''t in the mood to go and look for someone like that, I thought that I had found my mate


    and I should concentrate on her.


    I sat waiting to see or smell her anywhere but I wasn''t and I thought that maybe I hade too early.


    So I stood up to walk the area to beat some time, I got out of the restaurant and saw that it was in the


    middle of two buildings and they all had Abs name on it but the third one, had another name.


    It was named AbsLog entertainment center, I watched the familiar ce for a long time but didn''t know


    why I thought I knew the ce before then.


    I wanted to take a closer look and walked a few steps forward and as I stood in the alley, I saw two


    men fighting a lot of men. But the gang ended up lying on the floor hurt, the two men faced each other


    and pped their hands together victoriously. Then they shouted together,


    “Well done Abs, well done Log. ”


    And surprisingly, I was looking at myself and a man I didn''t know. I was walking closer when I smelt the


    scent and then a handnded on my shoulder.


    She looked at me and asked worriedly,


    “Any problem? why are you going there it''s a dead end. ”


    I nodded and looked back at the ce to see nothing more then I knew it was a memory. She looked at


    me and said


    “ I know you are confused with the look on your face, what''s the reason?”


    I shook my head and she also tighten her mouth as if trying all she could not to speak. I looked at her


    concerned and asked,


    “Hey, are you okay?”


    She nodded hurriedly and signed me to follow her and I did, surprisingly, we entered the same


    restaurant I hade from but instead of the seat I sat on, we walked ahead to the VIP side.


    She still didn''t speak and signed me to sit down, I knew she was acting weird but then it was the only


    time she had been weird.


    And I also knew she wasn''t a human at all even though she had lived like that for a long time.


    The environment was cozy and silent so I could even hear her heart beat and then I smelt her and she


    was so aroused just as I was.


    But I wasn''t ready to force myself on her but was ready to let her know what we did to both of us. She


    sat a little away from me still quiet with her left leg on the other squeezing it so hard. I sighed and said,


    “Rx, and I think we should ept our fate, I also don''t like you as much as you think I do. I know


    you are on there controlling her and want her to hate me, but what will we do about our attraction


    towards each other?”


    She finally turned to look at me with a death re and whispered through gritted teeth.


    “Shut up, will you? I hate you and I will always will. ”
