41. The Visitor


    CHAPTER 41: The Visitor


    LILIAN IS NOW wrapped with a nket after shifting back to her human form. Her body and lips were


    stained with blood so she wiped it with the nket while pondering what she just did.


    She''s not that dumb to not realize her strength earlier. Yes, she trained herself to be stronger and


    learned to defend herself in Midnight Pack but she knew what she did a while ago was beyond her


    capability. She knew to herself that she''s just an omega. She''s well aware about the things that an


    omega can do. And her wolf... how the hell did she be bigger like that anyway?


    She ripped and wed the rogue easily and without any hint of remorse. She even throws it in the air


    making it fall on the ground with a heavy impact. An omega cannot do that.


    "Search the whole area and make sure that there''s no rogue lingering around here," said Alpha Karius


    to the wolf warriors of the pack. Calyx was the one who led the searching while he seriously looked at


    Lilian who''s silently quivering.


    Yes, she''s shaking, that''s what Alpha Karius'' noticed after she was given a nket to cover her


    nakedness by Teacher Naia. She''s sitting on the bench with Penny who''s still not talking, probably


    because she''s too shocked by what she saw, too. He saw Penny being amazed with Lilian''s wolf earlier


    so he clearly understands why she''s not saying a word about it.


    Sighing, Alpha Karius went in their direction. Penny was the one who noticed him first and stood up


    and left to give them time together while Lilian was still busy wiping the blood on her hand and mouth.


    Alpha Karius sat on the seat where Penny was upying earlier.


    "Let me do it," he said to her and took his own hanky before getting her hands from her. Surprisingly,


    she didn''t even protest and let him be. "You were so brave awhile ago, love. I saw what you did to save


    the pup..." he said with his most gentle tone as he smiled a bit, trying to cheer her up. Her hands were


    cold and shaking a bit. He wanted to calm her down so he held her hands longer, transferring his


    warmth to her.


    Lilian looked at Alpha Karius with now her brows furrowed. "You were here? That means... you saw it


    too, right?" she asked. Well, she thought that he just came here together with some wolf warriors. She


    suddenly thought about his reaction to how she shifted a while ago. Maybe he''s also wondering how


    she did that.


    "Yeah. I received a report that there''s a rogue attack here. I got worried about the pups so..." He


    shrugged his shoulders, not asking about what he saw earlier. Lilian actually appreciates it. He didn''t


    open up about it anymore, maybe he felt that she''s not reallyfortable talking about it which she


    really appreciates.


    Lilian chose to not talk after that. She suddenly felt exhausted. All she wants to do right now is to have


    some decent rest on her bed and sleep. After exerting that kind of strength awhile ago, she suddenly


    felt how tired she is now like it consumed a lot of her energy.


    "You can rest, love," he whispered.


    As if getting what she''s thinking, Alpha Karius suddenly pulled her head gently and made hery on his


    broad chest, wrapping his arms around her. She just let out a soft moan as she gave all her weight to


    him. He shifted her weight a bit and also pulled her both legs on hisp, holding it in ce to make her


    feel better. She feltfortable as she closed her eyes, inhaling his manly scent on his neck.


    And as if on a cue, she fell asleep feeling the loud thudding of his heart against his chest that matched


    the rhythm of her heart, too.

    IT WAS ALREADY dark when Calyx and the pack warriors came back. Alpha Karius looked at them


    with his serious face as he lightly tapped Lilian''s arms who''s still sleeping peacefully on his chest. His


    touch was gentle to not wake her up.


    "Is it done? Have you found any suspicious footprints of a rogue? It''s really impossible that only one


    rogue has the guts to step on my territory," he said with so much authority. "And we have guards


    around the area. How the fuck did a single rogue was able to outsmart them all." He gritted his teeth in


    annoyance. He couldn''t really ept the fact that a single rogue was able to enter his pack. What a


    brave move from that rogue.

    He tried to think on the other side. It could be from his rivals, sending him a warning or something. It


    could also be just a normal rogue getting lost in his pack. Or maybe someone has sent it... He''s really


    trying to think what could be the reason behind this rogue attack.


    But then a thought suddenly came to his mind. The witch before told him about some rogue attacks


    that will happen to his pack in the future. It could be starting now...


    "We are already investigating about it, Alpha. And about the footprints, we found out that it was the


    same footprint of the rogue that was killed by the Luna. There''s no other rogues in the whole area


    aside from... him." Calyx was the one who answered and gestured his head, pointing the dead rogue


    on the ground that was now being pulled by the other pack warriors. The scent of its blood still lingers


    in the air.


    He already made the pups go back to their homes. The ss has been canceled after what happened


    and aside from that, there''s a crack on the wall of the ssroom so they still need to fix it for a couple


    of days. He pity those pups who have witnessed what happened earlier. He just hopes that it won''t


    cause them trauma. They''re too precious to see that scary animal.


    Alpha Karius just nodded. He wanted to get mad at them all but he can''t since Lilian is still in his arms,


    sleeping. He doesn''t want to disturb her so he just red at everyone making them all look down,


    except for Calyx who still remained emotionless. Calyx was the only one who had the guts to look back


    at him.


    Momentster, Alpha Karius stood up, carrying Lilian in a bridal way and decided to go back to the


    mansion. Some of the pack warriors are left in the school of pups to guard the whole area. Some are


    also fixing the walls.


    When he reaches the mansion, he''s actually surprised that Nich is there together with an unfamiliar


    man. His brows furrowed. He thought she already left.


    "I had the urge to visit your Luna that''s why I came here, Alpha Axel. I''m sorry for not telling you this


    earlier. One of the wolves was kind enough to take us here." Nich said as she bowed her head a bit


    then her head tilted a bit, as if she could see Lilian that Alpha Karius was carrying. "That''s her, right?"


    Alpha Karius just nodded his head a bit. "I''ll just take her to our room to rest," he told her and went


    upstairs where his room is. He put her to bed and made her wear his clothes. While putting it to her, he


    would gulp unconsciously when he saw her body. But he shrugged his worldly thoughts and sighed


    deeply before going down to check on Nich since he could already feel how he grew a damn boner


    just by staring at the sleeping Lilian.


    "I thought you already left. I apologize for leaving you earlier, there was a rogue attack so I went to the


    area immediately to check on it..." he said as he upied the other sofa in front of them.


    The other man with Nich looked straight into Alpha Karius'' eyes, making him raise a brow a bit. He


    also looked back with the same intensity to him and doesn''t really have the ns to back down. Who is


    he? He thought but he''s already caught on the next thing that Nich said.


    Nich just nodded her head. "She''s starting..." Her eyes glowed a bit making her move on his seat a


    bit as he looked at her straight in the eyes even though she couldn''t really see him.


    "Who?" His brows furrowed.


    "The first woman... Gianna is starting. Take care of your pack, Alpha Karius."


    He went serious this time. "I know Gianna is a daughter of an Alpha but how is she even rted to the


    rogues here?"


    "She has a special ability that everyone is not aware about. She wille back to you."


    He clenched his jaw. The audacity of that woman to stille back here in his pack. Well, he will get


    ready for her return. How dare she cause fear to everyone here after he weed her before? She


    was even treated like his real Luna and now what? She wille back like she didn''t do something


    wrong? That thick faced bitch.

    LILIAN WOKE UP groaning and realizes that she''s already inside Alpha Karius'' room. She immediately


    got up from the bed as the memories earlier rushed in her head.


    She slept in Alpha Karius'' broad chest. That thought alone made her blushed as it made her heart


    pounded loudly against her chest. She shrugged off that idea before she stood up and decided to go


    back to her room. That''s when she sees that she''s also wearing his shirt. She smells like her now...


    When she went out, her brows furrowed upon hearing some voices downstairs. Curiously, she went


    down barefooted and looked at the people talking. The other one was Alpha Karius, she''s sure of that


    since she could recognize his deep and baritone voice. He''s talking with an unfamiliar woman and


    another man.


    "What the..." she whispered when she realized that the man beside the woman was familiar with her.


    "Jackson..." she whispered his name and as if on a cue, the man looked up at his direction and looked


    at her.


    It was real. Jackson from the Midnight pack is here. What is he even doing here?
