    "SHE WILL BE the reason for your death. Maybe not literally but I know she has something under her


    sleeves," Calyx said while they were inside Alpha Karius'' office again, reviewing some reports.


    Calyx couldn''t really ept how Alpha Karius forgives Lilian easily after she ditched him on his own


    birthday. He saw how hurt he was when he went back to his tree house. Lilian could really hurt him


    easily. That''s what he noticed and he''s afraid that in the near future, Lilian will fully wrap Alpha Karius


    around her fingers and control him in the end. That''s not impossible to happen knowing how whipped


    Alpha Karius is to her.


    Alpha Karius shrugged his shoulders as he scanned the pages of the reports. "I''ll let her be," he


    answered as if it wasn''t even a big deal. He''s already decided that whatever Lilian''s ns could be,


    he''d dly embrace it all.


    That''s how he loves her. He loves her so much that he''s giving her all the permission to hurt him, to


    taste her most sweetest revenge.


    Calyx annoyingly shook his head, disappointed at Alpha Karius'' answer. "Fucking whipped," he


    whispered that didn''t escape from Alpha Karius'' ears.

    woman. But on the other side, seeing Alpha Karius like this made Calyx somehow a bit rxed. This


    only means that he''s happy, unlike before when he thought that he lost Lilian. Alpha Karius was always


    stressed and buried himself with work, not getting enough rest. As his Beta, it actually hurts Calyx


    seeing him that way before.


    It was a good thing that Lilian came back to him and it turns out that they are also mates, but Calyx


    couldn''t still be at ease knowing that Lilian is nning something to Alpha Karius. Calyx will do

    Alpha Karius chuckled. "If ever I''ll die in my mate''s hands, then I''ll dly rest in peace." He took it in a


    joking way as he smirked at him. Dying is really a heavy word but sometimes, it would cross his mind. If


    he will die, would Lilian even forgive him? He shrugged off that idea and looked at Calyx who''s about to


    burst out in anger already. Calyx is really the best Beta for him. He''s loyal and would do anything for


    him. What he likes about Calyx is he always trusts his decisions.


    Calyx didn''t seem to really like what Alpha Karius said and just remained serious while clenching his


    jaw as if he''s stopping himself to punch him since his hand also balled into fist. Well, he couldn''t just


    punch his Alpha that easily even if he wanted to. He wants to punch him for Alpha Karius to see the


    truth about Lilian... But he shook that idea away and just looked back at the papers instead.


    Momentster, they fell into deep silence. They became serious this time on their work as their gazes


    went to the pile of papers in front of the both of them. The papers are about the weekly report on the


    pack and the welfare of everyone. Alpha Karius became really hands on to his pack when Lilian was


    still not back. But he became more hands on now that she''s back, for her to see that he''s doing all his


    best to be the great Alpha, not only for the pack but also for his Luna.


    "Have you found the witch that I was telling you the other day?" Alpha Karius suddenly asked after a


    couple of minutes of silence as he leaned his back on his swivel chair.


    Well, a witch told him before about the rogue attacks but he wanted to ask another opinion of another


    witch just to make sure. There''s no harm in trying another witch this time.


    Calyx nodded his head. "Yeah. She''s now on her way here--" He wasn''t able toplete what he''s


    about to say anymore when they both heard a knock on the door.


    "Come in," Alpha Karius said.


    "I''m sorry for the disturbance, Alpha but a witch is here looking for you," said Marcus, one of the


    werewolves guarding outside the office.


    Marcus looked back a bit and gestured his head to someone outside. That''s when he opened the door


    wider for someone toe in. It was the witch that they were talking about.


    "A pleasant morning, Alpha Karius. I am Nich, a witch from Ha." The woman wearing a ck


    cloak bowed her head a bit as a sign of respect in front of Alpha Karius.


    Ha is a bit far from the Moon Stone pack. It''s actually a secluded ce and there''s a tribe of witches


    living there. He asked Calyx to look for a trusted witch in Ha to answer his questions about the rogue


    and some other things that concern the pack.


    "Likewise, Nich. Please, take a seat." Alpha Karius gestured his hand to the chair just in front of


    Calyx. Nich immediately obliged and shyly removed the hood of her cloak.


    Nich is a blind witch but has a strong sense when ites to her surroundings. She''s one of the


    strongest witches in the witches tribe in Ha. "There''s something that''s been bugging you the past few


    days." Nich started talking as she looked at Alpha Karius, even though she didn''t really see him.


    Alpha Karius is not really that surprised anymore on what she suddenly said. Maybe she could feel how


    chaotic his mind is.


    "Yeah. It''s about the... rogue attacks that a witch had told me before," Alpha Karius said as he sighed


    and both sped his hands on the table. "The witch told me before that my pack will be attacked by the


    rogues in the near future, making me make some wrong decisions in the past. I have lost some lives of


    my pack and someone who''s very dear to me." It was his child that he''s pertaining to. He almost lost


    Lilian, too, because he chose to break up with her in the past.


    "Wrong decisions... You know, it''s normal for us to make wrong decisions and trust anyone fast since


    we sometimes think that we run out of choices..." Nich meaningfully said. "Gianna... is she the


    wrong decision you''re talking about?" She smirked a bit.


    Alpha Karius straightened his back at the mere mention of that name, the woman who caused trouble


    in his pack and used his mate for something that she didn''t even do before. How did Nich find


    out about her? He''s not sure anymore. He could feel the aura of the blind witch in front of him that she''s


    not just a witch. She''s more than that. "You''re right. That woman really angered me to the core," he


    said as he clenched his jaw.


    He''s noting clean since he also hurt Lilian before but what Gianna did is really the worst. She


    made his own pack hate one of them, which is Lilian. It was also the reason why he removed the


    barrier among the higher ranked wolves to the lower ranked wolves. He realized that it was toote but


    it''s better if everyone treats each other fairly. That''s how a real pack works. He learned all of it when


    Lilian wasn''t with him.


    Meanwhile, Nich thinks something a bit strange, her eyes suddenly lit making the color of purple


    more vivid in front of Calyx and Alpha Karius. The two men let her as she suddenly gasped. Seconds


    "Two women... I''m seeing two women that will fight for power and for your heart. The other woman is


    the woman named... Gianna. She will bring the worst in your pack so do not let your guard down,


    especially the ones that are important to you. She''s a bit... destructive." She paused a bit. "The other


    woman is still unclear to me but she will give you either protection or your downfall. She''s holding a


    grudge against you but you still need to be careful around her. She''s the only one that could protect


    you from the wrath of Gianna and the rogues. She''s rewarded by the moon goddess of a great power


    and it will be a big challenge for her to control it."


    Alpha Karius thinks a bit. The other woman is holding a grudge against him. He suddenly has a hunch


    that maybe... Lilian was the second woman that Nich is talking about. But... she also said that the


    second woman is rewarded by a great power by the moon goddess. He''s not belittling Lilian but she''s


    just a mere omega. What Nich said in thest part is a bit impossible. Lilian doesn''t have any super


    power, he knows that.


    "You should be careful to your decisions from now on, Alpha Karius..." Nich advised making Alpha


    Karius nodded his head. "And about the rogue attacks, well, you don''t have to worry about it


    anymore..."


    "Why?"


    "Because you already found your mate. That''s enough reason for them to back down since they could


    feel your oozing power as the alpha."


    He nodded again before sighed in relief. He was about to say something again when Marcus suddenly


    came inside again making his brows furrowed. He''s about tosh out for the sudden disturbance since


    he didn''t even knock but he stopped himself.


    "What?" Alpha Karius'' tone is a bit annoyed as his brow raised a bit.


    "A-Alpha Karius... the school of pups has been attacked by a rogue."


    "Fuck!" He couldn''t help but to stand up and was about to go but he stopped on thest thing that


    Marcus said.


    "B-But everything is under control now. Luna Lilian was able to kill the rogue." Marcus sighed in relief.


    Even though everything is under control now, Alpha Karius still didn''t hesitate to stand up and went out


    of his office to go to the school of pups. He''s worried about the pups.


    When he reached the ce, he was in awe seeing a big wolf, almost at his wolf''s size, that suddenly


    attacked the rogue ruthlessly and killed it. Momentster, the big wolf shifted to its human form and


    Alpha Karius was shocked to see that it was Lilian, his mate.


    How the hell did she turn out to be that big and expert in fighting?
