CHAPTER 17: The Remarkable Night
"IT WAS EARLY in the morning when Lilian got up from the bed. After she fixed herself, she heard a
knock from outside of her room. Shezily opened the door and saw Kathryn and Liza smiling widely at
her while holding two boxes.
"Good morning!" They greeted in unison and giggled as they looked at each other.
"Yeah, good morning, too." Well, Lilian is not really in the mood early in the morning. She read a book
it hard for her to forget the lines in the book.
"Oh. You have an eyebags," Lizamented when she saw Lilian''s face then pouted.
Lilian didn''t answer anymore and just let them get inside her room. They put the two boxes on the bed,
still smiling.
"What are those?" she couldn''t help but to ask the two of them.
"This is the gown that you''re going to wear to the partyter!" Kathryn answered and giggled. "Hay... I
just hope I could attend too but I''m still a minor," she added dreamily.
"Even though you''re a minor, you''re still not allowed to get inside the hotel. You''re omega just like me,
remember?" Liza replied to Kathryn.
Lilian couldn''t help but to roll her eyes on what she heard. Well, the Blood Moon party will happen in a
luxurious hotel and they prevented the lower ranked wolves from getting inside. The omegas have a
designated area to stay at. They are not allowed to mingle with the higher ranked wolves since some of
the alphas and lunas from other packs are still not open with the Omegas being with them. It''s sad that
not only the Moon Stone pack has a rule like that. Only a few packs have embraced the reality that
Omegas also belong to them... and the Midnight Pack is one of them.
Thinking about it makes Lilian so proud to her second pack... the one who embraced her like their own
family despite the fact that she''s an Omega even when they still didn''t know that she''s the daughter of
their Alpha.
Going back to the part, as of Lilian, she''s allowed to enter because she''s going with Calista, the Alpha
of the Midnight pack.
After Liza and Kathryn''s nonstop banters, they went out quickly to help Maya in cleaning the other
rooms in the mansion. When Lilian was finally alone in her room, she couldn''t help but to stare at the
boxes on her bed and smirked.
Well, she intended to be the most beautiful and sexiest woman on that night... the woman they couldn''t
have. She can''t wait for them to see their reaction.

AT EXACTLY SIX in the evening, Lilian started to fix herself for the party. She skipped her regr
training and studied earlier for the eventter so she will be in her best condition.
Maya, Kathryn and Liza were the one who assisted her as usual. Kathryn was the one who did her
make up while Liza is on hair. Maya is preparing her gown for her to wearter on.
"What do you want to look like with your make up?" Kathryn asked Lilian.
"I want to look... sexy and daring," Lilian answered as she smirked in the mirror in front of them.
Kathryn giggled at her answer. "Hmm, I like that. Okay. I''ll start."
Lilian just nodded and let Kathryn do wonders on her face as she closed her eyes and leaned her back
on the chair, rxing as she tried to imagine what would happenter.
She can''t wait to see the shock expression in their faces once they see her. She knew the fact that the
Moon Stone pack thought that she''s already dead... especially their Alpha.
Calista told her about that and she wanted to burst outughing on that matter. She''s... dead? What a
news! She''s sure as hell that they will be really shocked to see her, alive and kicking again... the
omega that they humiliated and hurted before, will rise like a bolt of thunder ready to strike them all.
After more than an hour, Maya, Kathryn and Liza were done assisting her. Maya helped her by wearing
her bloody red gown with a sweetheart neckline that emphasized her cleavage. There''s a high slit on
her left leg exposing her creamy thighs. Her back is also exposed since it''s backless. Her hair is on a
high ponytail making her neck and corbone in full show. Her make up alsoplimented her outfit.
It''s a bit smoky and her lips are the same as the color of her gown. She looked like a viin in movies,
ready for the most awaited revenge.
Lilian couldn''t help but to smirk on her appearance as she nced at her reflection in the mirror. The
threedies beside her really did a great job in helping her to achieve the look that she wanted.
"Wow! You looked so sexy and alluring!" Lizaplimented. "Damn those curves! I wish I had that kind
of body. Your boobs and butt are a big p to me!"
"Oh, goddess. If I were a boy and at the right age already, I would definitely defy the moon goddess to
have you as my mate instead," Kathryn said as she looked at Lilian with her twinkling eyes.
"Well, I could even leave my own mate just to have her instead," said Maya, making the four of them
bursted outughing.
Few momentster, they heard a knock from outside. Maya was the one who opened it and it revealed
Calista. Maya, Kathryn and Liza looked at her as if they''re preparing to get out of her room. Lilian just
nodded before ncing at Calista again.
Her mother looked breathtaking in her long sleeve emerald gown. She looked ssy and elegant as
her hair was in a half ponytail that showed her high cheekbone. She looked intimidating wearing her
crown that she only used for important asions or when she feels like to wear it.
"Don''t you think you''re showing too much skin?" Calista asked as she nced at Lilian''s body. "I
mean... don''t get me wrong, you looked pretty and alluring but I''m just worried about youter. I''m sure
there are many male wolves that will ogle at you. It''s Blood Moon, may I just remind you that, dear."
Lilian chuckled. Of course, she knew about that. Since it''s Blood Moon, the body heat of the wolves is
higher than normal. "That''s the n. I want them to ogle at the woman that they can''t have no matter
how much they want."
Calista bursted outughing on what she said. "You looked fabulous and sexy, by the way."
"You too, mother. It looks like we''re the same age."
Calista rolled her eyes. "Oh, don''t fool me, dear."
Lilian just giggled before she started a bit on Calista''s face. She suddenly realized how they look so
much like each other. The uncanny resemnce is really showing once she stares at Calista for a
couple of seconds.
After that, they went out of her room as Lilian clung on Calista''s arm. When they got outside the
mansion, the limousine and the driver were already waiting outside to take them to the five star hotel.
While they were inside the limousine, Calista suddenly held Lilian''s hand making her look at her
seriously.
"Why?"
Calista smiled. "This is my second time attending a party this Blood Moon. The first one was when I
met your father, my mate. I never attended another party again after that."
Lilian suddenly blinked, thinking that this must be too hard on Calista since it just reminded her of her
mate.
"W-What happened to him?" Lilian couldn''t help but to ask. She never opened about that topic to
Calista since she thought that it is a sensitive topic to her. She never saw a picture of him in the
mansion.
"He... died. He died in the war where I also lost you. I was so devastated that day... losing the most
precious wolves I had. But it''s all in the past now. I''m d that you''re already here. I''m sure your father
would be very much happy wherever he is now," Calista told her as she smiled a bit, hiding the tears
forming at the corner of her eyes.
Lilian didn''t dare to talk about it anymore. It seems like Calista is really sensitive when ites to her
mate so she didn''t push it again as she just nced outside the window the whole ride.
It took them almost an hour before they reached the hotel. It''s also owned by a higher ranked wolf.

Momentster, they reached the real venue. And Lilian couldn''t help but to smirk when she saw some
wolves checking her out like a piece of meat in front of them all.
"Oh, wow. Everyone''s looking at you, dear. They are hungry for your attention," Calista murmured in his
ear.
Lilian just giggled at her remark. Shs shrugged her shoulders and smirked. This will be a very
remarkable night for her.
