    After one short month, God’s Eden had beenpletely transformed. Seven new gardens had been opened, and while the nts had only just started to sprout, Xia Fei and Chu Jingfeng could see a little hope.


    God’s Eden consisted primarily of springs and pools. The Springs of Life gushed out of the ground and gathered in pools where their waters were stored. This water was then guided through canals to the nearby gardens.


    Each spring and pool was used to nourish a single garden, the gardens all being independent of one another. All of the small gardens ced next to each other formed the massive God’s Eden.


    There was also aplicated hydrological system underground, and a life support system. In short, God’s Eden was truly the handiwork of one of the Four Great Sky Devils. Its exquisite protection and perfect design were simply enchanting.


    Xia Fei felt like watching the nts in God’s Eden grow was a pretty good feeling. If he had to retire one day, he wouldn’t mind spending some time with Avril here, nting flowers. !!

    “You broke through!” Xu Luanbu shouted in shock. He continued enviously, “It was only two days ago that you broke through the Chilled Ligament Ghost Valley, and now you’ve broken through the Unrestricted Soul Spirit? Isn’t this speed a little too absurd?”


    He turned to his master, Chu Jingfeng. Chu Jingfeng wasn’t as envious. Instead, his eyes were sparkling with delight.


    With a woosh, the Soul Marks disappeared, and Xia Fei stood up and nodded at the two men.


    “I say, do you have some sort of secret shortcut? How else can you increase your level so crazily? Is your cultivation also of the speed type?” Xu Luanbu asked as he came up.


    Xia Fei smiled. “I just have sufficient spirit energy reserves and forced my way through. If one try won’t do, I’ll try one hundred times, and if one hundred times won’t do, I’ll try one thousand! I’ll break through eventually!”


    Xu Luanbu shrugged. This was Xia Fei. His energy reserves were just too frightening! No one couldpare to him. After several lucky encounters, Xia Fei had umted 1.2 million units of spirit energy in his brain region, an astronomical number!


    Chu Jingfeng smiled and patted Xia Fei on the shoulder. “Your cultivation speed would probably leave even the Four Great Sky Devils envious. Perhaps it’s because you’ve dabbled in so many fields. Back then, the most powerful of the Four Sky Devils was the Broken Wing Sky Devil, Paletooth, but the greatest talent was the Gale Sky Devil, Medicinal Cauldron Prince!

    Xia Fei didn’t take thement seriously. He knew that Chu Jingfeng was just joking around. The Four Great Sky Devils were transcendent beings, and he was still far from reaching their level.


    Suddenly, a hair-raising whistle pierced through God’s Eden.


    “That’s the rm! Outsiders are approaching!” Chu Jingfeng shouted.


    The air howled as the three of them hastened over to the entrance!


    God’s Eden had been built by the Four Sky Devils and possessed a terrifying defensive system. Everyone needed to register before they were able to get close to the garden.


    The rm just now was the Level One warning! It meant that an unregistered stranger had appeared within a hundred light-years of the garden!


    As Xia Fei andpany arrived at the garden entrance, the whistle turned into something more like a train horn!


    That meant that the enemy was not justing closer to the garden, but that they hade in great numbers. It was clear that a horde of unknown enemies was rapidly approaching!


    “Where did these unknown peoplee from!? To dare get close to God’s Eden!?” Chu Jingfeng snarled as he looked over the warning report swiftly.


    At that moment, he heard Xia Fei, who had been the first to arrive at the entrance, say sternly, “These people aren’t unknown at all. It’s the Hell Brigade! They’ve managed to locate God’s Eden!”


    “Aiyah!” Chu Jingfeng and Xu Luanbu paled in shock. When they looked at Xia Fei, they saw that his eyes were like shlights. He had already used Origin of Heaven to inspect his surroundings!


    “How many of them are here!?” Chu Jingfeng asked.


    “A lot, and they brought arge number of Blueblood puppets!” Xia Fei replied grimly.


    Demi-Dragon King Sunlight had exined the structure of the Hell Brigade once. The lowest level consisted of human puppets; Blueblood puppets were one level higher. A single Blueblood puppet had thebat power of one thousand human puppets! Among them were the brigademanders, who were draconid hybrids!


    The Hell Brigade had always moved out in the form of legions, with each legion having ten thousand people!


    If the enemy had ten thousand high-ranked Blueblood puppets, they would be an extremely tough opponent!


    From how heavy the warning signals were, the enemy had clearly sent more than one legion!


    “What do we do!?” Xu Luanbu was in somewhat of a panic. “God’s Eden hasn’tpletely recovered, and doesn’t have the ability to counterattack.     Standing at the entrance of the garden, one could see steps scattered about in a haphazard fashion, like standing atop a mountain and looking down on the terraces on its slopes.


    Those steps were the maze. One had to proceed on them in the correct way; if one went the wrong way, one would be sent back to the starting point or run into an invisible wall.


    The greatest advantage of a God’s Eden while bereft of the ability to strike back was its position. On the outer edge of existence, thick nebs prevented any sort of detection device from plumbing its depths.


    The Hell Brigade had already passed through the nebs, and Xia Fei could even see their shadows!


    The situation was dire. Xia Fei’s side had only three people, and they were facing down the innumerable forces of the Hell Brigade!


    Gritting his teeth, Xia Fei took out Fiend Tears and Fiend Lock from his spatial ring while having Radix take control of Fiend de Nirvana.


    “There’s no point in saying anything now. Look.” Xia Fei pointed at the terrace-like steps below. “Those steps are ourst chance to defend ourselves. The enemy doesn’t know the secrets of this ce, but we can see them clearly! Thus, we need to make the battle happen here, where we have the advantage!


    “In a little while, I’ll be the vanguard while the two of you assist me. If possible, we’ll stop the enemy at the steps of God’s Eden. If that doesn’t work, we’ll retreat into the garden.”


    Xu Luanbu’s eyes turned red as he said, “Little Goldie! You still have Little Goldie! Have him…”


    “Don’t waste time!” Xia Fei rebuked him sharply. “I’ve already calcted everything! Little Goldie can’t open up a passage big enough to fit God’s Eden inside, the garden is just too big! Our only chance is to stop the enemy on the steps!”

    Xia Fei raised the Fiend Lock and jumped out of the entrance with Little Goldie and Furball; Chu Jingfeng and Xu Luanbu followed behind.


    There was no doubting Xia Fei’s tactical prowess and impressive calcting ability. If he felt the only opportunity was on the steps of God’s Eden, then that was the ce to fight!


    Xia Fei and Chu Jingfeng were holding up well. Not too long ago, they had fought against an arm of the Hell Brigade and aplished the stunning feat of wiping them outpletely! They also had a certain level of teamwork between them.


    But this was Xu Luanbu’s first time against the Hell Brigade, and he was naturally uneasy.


    The steps of God’s Eden were very strange. They were all rectangles one square kilometer in area, with grass growing atop them. They floated in space, forming a spiral that consisted of more than a thousand of those steps.


    Xia Fei’s group quickly reached the very bottom of the steps, where they saw the monsters of the Hell Brigade jumping up, step by step.


    Coldly looking down at this dense mass of monsters, Xia Fei shouted, “Stay close to me!” as he jumped.


    He spread out his body and plunged straight down!
