Walking Into the cells I grab the bucket of water tossing it on the bitch. She jerks awake, her eyes
the moment I do she exerts herst bit of energy trying to lunge at me. The chains ripping her
backwards before she reached me.
I crouch on the ground in front of her, twirling the syringe in my fingers. The beauty of monkshood,

"I will make you a deal, you answer my questions I will end your misery" I tell her. She closes her

"I won''t betray my family" she says, turning her face away. I stand walking out of the cell and walk
to the fridge beforeing back with a blood bag. A feral snarl leaves her as she bares her fangs,

coughing.

"Jimsonweed, or betel nut," she answers.

before making a pained groan.

"Depends how old the vampire is. It won''t work long on Thaddeus maybe an hour at most and

"Good thing I''m not after Thaddeus then" I tell her and her head rolls to the side to look at me. I
stand up reaching forward and she tries to lift her arms to stop me as I twist her neck snapping it and
knocking her out cold for a few more hours. I quickly inject her making sure she stays under.
Walking out, I close the steel door and make a few phone calls to get what I need before taking the
next step in the master n. Lauraes in just as I sit down at my desk in the basement.
"What time did you get back?" I ask her as she flops on the lounge.
"Just now Imogen closed up shop and wanted to look for her sister, Eve was in a bad mood so we
closed for the day" she goes to say something but stops herself.
"Speak, what is it?" I demand.
"I just, I don''t think I can do it. They are good people, Demetri."
"They are monsters, don''t be going soft Laura, don''t lose sight of your goal. You want immortality,
you do what I ask" I tell her and she falls silent.
"Yes but I don''t think this is the right way Evelyn didn''t do anything, neither did her daughter" she
tries to argue.
"Come here little bird" I tell her and she grows tense, her fear perfuming the room. I take a deep
breath relishing it.
"Now Laura my patience is running thin" she hesitantly Comes over and I tug her on myp. Her
hands reflexively went to my chest. I ran my finger down her neck stopping at her artery which was
pulsing beneath her skin.
My gums tingling with my own desire to feed. "Please don''t, it hurts" she whispers. I study her face
tilting it up to my own before kissing her lips.
"It only hurts if I make it hurt" I tell her, “I don''t want to hurt you but I will if you don''t please me" I
tell her. Her heart beats erratically at my words.
"You don''t want to upset me do you?" I ask her and she shakes her head.
"Good, did you ask her toe out with you?" She nods her head yet I could see her
nervousness, her fear. Rifling through her thoughts, I could see she genuinely liked the girl, and
thought of her as a friend. I click my tongue annoyed.
"She is not your friend Laura, you can befriend anyone but them understood"
"Yes," she whispers softly and I pinch her neck she cries out and I could already see the purple
bruise staining her delicate skin.
"I need you to do something for me" I tell her and she nods, tears filling her eyes.
"You need to take her out, then you need to drug her for me"
"I thought it was Thaddeus you were after,"
"It is but I need to destroy him first"
"But how?"
"By making him destroy the one thing he loves most, his mates"

"No I will let him do that, I just need you to do as I say and you are one step closer to gaining your
immortality, did you do the other task I asked of you?" She nods.
"Yes, the bombs are in ce and Matt checked them already" she says and I brush her cheek
softly. I let my fangs slip out and I hear her suck in a breath, tears slipping down her cheeks as fear
floods her.
"Shh shh little bird you have been a good girl, I will be gentle" I tell her kissing her lips. Her bottom
lip trembles against mine as I deepen the kiss. I turn her on myp making her straddle me, my pants
tightening as arousal floods me, her fear of me making me hard.
My hand goes into her hair as I pull her to the side exposing the delicate skin of her neck. I press
my fangs against her throat and a sob slips past her lips. I run my tongue over her neck and she
shivers her fear perfuming the room but I would keep my promise, she has been rather goodtely. I
sink my teeth into her neck, she cries out before she quiets a moan escaping her. Vastly different
