Chapter <b>122 </b>
Darius‘ POV
“You’re pregnant, baby,” I told her. Ang stared at me in disbelief. The two of us stared at each other. I think the rest of the people in the heard because of how they turned to us with excitement.
I was probably the happiest person in the room. I’d been noticing the little changes in her scent before I left for Jethro’s pack but it became stronger when she came back to the pack. I’d been waiting to tell her for a <b>while</b><b>, </b>but I kept it to myself and decided to wait until the right time. I was worried when I found out she was drunku night.
“No!” Ang mumbled.
“No!<b>” </b><b>I </b>asked in disbelief. I was confused as to why she said no.
“I can’t be pregnant, she argued.
I thought she would be excited about it. “Calm down baby. Just eat first and we’ll see a doctor, How does that sound?”
“Maybe we should see the doctor now,”
“You need to <b>eat</b><b>,</b>”
I <b>was </b>more worried about her health. She had to see a doctor but she needed to ear first.
“I can’t swallow anything. Darius,”
“You can try. I’ll help you,”
I had to sit her down and feed her the food. It <b>took </b>her more <b>than </b>two minutes to chew and swallow but when she realized the earlier <b>she </b><b>was </b>done. the faster we could get to the hospital, she collected the fork from me and ate the whole te within the blink of an eye.
I had to use my car to drive us to the hospital. We also didn’t leave Reina befund. She <b>was </b>with us but we entered the doctor’s office alone.
“Congrattions, Ang, Alpha Darius. You’re definitely pregnant,” Dr. Halle announced after the tests result she took came out.
I was happy but I didn’t <b>want </b>to reveal this and overshadow whatever she was feeling
“I can’t be pregnant, <b>Halle</b>,” she answered.
“What?” Halle asked.
“Calm down baby. can <b>talk </b>about <b>this </b><b>at </b>home, I urged her.
“You don’t understand, you don’t understand. I don’t even have a strong connection with my wolf yet and <b>I’m </b>pregnant. Also, I took alcohol justst night<b>, </b>a lot of it and I took this hangover pill Darius <b>gave </b>me this morning. Won’t those things harm the <b>baby</b>?” She asked.
I almost <b>took </b>a deep breath. I’d thought she didn’t want the baby. I didn’t know she was just worried about the baby.
“I’m sure the baby is fine. Nothing could’ve gone wrong because of the <b>pill </b>or the alcohol. <b>You </b><b>can </be back in a few <b>days </b>for the ultrasound tests to know the condition of the baby. How about that?” She asked.
“Sounds perfect,”
“Are you sure I have nothing to be worried about?”
“You <b>have </b>nothing to be worried about, I’m sure of it,”
It was relieving and at the same time, I was excited. I was nervous as well.
Ang turned to me and we both smiled at the same time. It was a perfectly <b>good </b>news. Being a father one more time was like a heaven sent opportunity for me to fix my fuck up. It was a second chance to be there for the woman I love and protect my family,
We left for home with Reina. We hadn’t told her the news yet but we were nning to once we <b>got </b>home. We would sit her down and let her know she was having a little brother or sister.
Later that <b>night </b>after we arrived home, <b>Ang </b>went to her room while I went to the study room to get some files for Azalea, since he was requesting
them.
<b>Mason </b>walked in without knocking.
“Kill that habit, Mason. Knock before you walk into <b>my </b>space,”
“Ang told you, didn’t she? You’ve been avoiding me all morning.”
“She’s pregnant, Mason,” announced.
He nodded. “I knew,”
“Your sources told you that <b>too</b><b>?</b>”
I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.”
I groaned. “You didn’t have to <b>apologize</b>. It was your secret to keep and your time to tell. I won’t be <b>lying </b>when I say I loved the mystery behind all the information you’ve given me,”
He was staring at me confusingly. <b>“</b>You’re not <b>mad </b>at me,”
I shrugged. “Honestly I’m not. Maybe it’s the <b>good </b>news or maybe <b>because </b>I always knew something was different about you,”

“For what?” I asked. I ced one of the documents I was looking for on a side of the table so I could look for the rest.

Mason was being ridiculous and he knew it.
“What about Reina?” He suddenly asked. I stopped searching my table and turned to him.

“Her gifts. I’m pretty worried about her,”
“Because her parents aren’t worried enough about her,”
I was getting angry
“She needs help,”
“I <b>told </b>you to let go of this topic. She’s my daughter, my responsibility. I know what to do about it,”
“Maybe you don’t understand the gravity of this. She’s just like mom, Darius- Just like her. I <b>got </b>half of whatever it was that mom had and I know just how hard it was for me. Reina got the entire gift and imagine how hard it is for her right now or how hard it’s going to be for her,”
“You don’t know if she has half just like you,”
“No, Darius. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen her. She has everything.”
I sighed.
“Listen Mason. Don’t fucking push this matter too far. I understand you understand what she’s going through but I don’t know what else you want me to do other than what I’m doing.”
“You’re only trying to keep it <b>a </b><b>secret </b>and that’s not helpful. Not in any way. Not for her, not for you,
“What do you suggest I do then<b>?</b>”
“There’s <b>a </b>school for gifted wolves like Reina. She’ll get all the help she needs there. The earlier she gets help, the better,”

“Don’t ever speak of this <b>again </b>or I swear that I’ll hurt you. One more stupid word of sending my daughter away, I’ll forget just how much you mean to me and rip your fucking mouth off,”
He stared at me. He had nothing else to say.
I walked upstairs to Reina’s room. She was lying on her bed, sobbing

My eyes went to her drawing book on the bed. Something caught my attention and I took it to get a closer look. It was a <b>rough </b>sketch of two babies, twins and it looked as though they were in the womb
