Chapter 1944
Feeling significantly wronged, she cried, "Mother, I know that you’re still upset about my pregnancy
issue in ckpine, but I was really trying to survive; otherwise, I would have died!”
"And regarding the tens of millions of dors, it was never my intention to lose it!"
"I’ll admit that I wanted to cheat ine of her money and get her vi to better improve our family''s
living conditions. All the hard work and sacrifices I’ve made were all for this family alone."
The moment Hannah brought out the pregnancy issue, Lady Wilson felt pped across the face
twice. She immediately yelled in a fury. "You shameless b* tch! How dare you mention the
pregnancy! You’re so shameless! Depraved of moral values! Extremely shameless! If Donald wasn''t
protecting you, I would have already driven you out of our home!” 3
She was so furious that she started hyperventting. With gritted teeth, she growled, "Don’t forget
that when you crawled out of ckpine, not only were you impregnated, you got infected with all
kinds of sexually transmittable diseases. You even infected my son! Think I wouldn''t have found
out?!"

Hannah''s face flushed beet red.
As she was struggling to retaliate, the driver asked
impatiently, "Sorry, but is your family ready to leave? I f you want to argue, then please get the two
patients out of the ambnce and have them argue by your side. We''re still waiting to get off work,
and we don’t have time to spend waiting for you here!"
Lady Wilson quickly apologized and pleaded. "Mr.
Driver, please don’t be mad. We''ll leave. We''ll leave right this instant!”
Once she finished speaking to the driver, she threw Hannah a disgusted re and climbed onto the
ambnce with Wendy''s help.
Despite feeling sympathetic towards her mother, Hannah could only keep silent. She could only
wink at her mother and let her get into the ambnce before continuing their conversation. 8
Hannah was crystal clear of the entire situation. Other than the vi, there was nowhere else she
could take shelter. She swallowed her anger and climbed onto the ambnce, and sat quietly at a
corner.
Once all five of the family members got in, the ambnce immediately drove off to Thompson First.

In the ambnce, Christopher, lying in bed, looked at Lady Wilson as he sobbed and asked,
"Mother, what are we going to do? Our family is now as poor as it can be..."
Lady Wilson wiped her tears as her voice was thick with restrain and mncholy. "I don''t know.
We''ve no money now, plus the both of you are badly injured.
The medical expenses are going to be quite hefty, and we really are in a desperate situation..."
Harold cried. "Grandmother, why don''t we head back t o Thompson First and look around for items
that are worth some money to sell-off. There are still some goods in our vi that are worth quite a
lot, like the wine in our wine cer. It can be sold off for a good sum!" 4
Lady Wilson nodded. "There is really no other way. So be it."
Wendy then asked. "By the way, grandmother, the two guys mentioned that Donald Webb has
prepared three helpers for us. Where are they?"
Lady Wilson looked lost. "I don''t know. Maybe he has arranged for them, but they have yet to
arrive?" 3
"Oh..." Wendy sighed. "I guess he still has some conscience to assign helpers for us. Father and
brother are both hurts like this, and with just the three of us, it is going to be difficult to take care of
them."
"Who would have guessed..." Lady Wilson sighed. "I''m guessing Donald was actually pissed at us
but he still has a little hope. The anger probably got to his head. Moving forward, we must really try
our best to
perform well. If we’re able to, we might even be able to win his trust again!" 2
Wendy nodded and sighed. "I hope the three helpers will arrive as soon as possible. It would be
best if they were already at the vi waiting for us. Otherwise, we wouldn’t know how to get father
and brother back to their roomster..."
