Madeline was forcing Annalise into a corner, and her dignity and grandeur were undeniable.
It was the first time Annalise had matched up to a woman who felt so powerful. A solemn fear slowly
took shape in her heart.
This was bad. Her hand started to tremble.
“Whatever you say, we from the Sce family are not pushovers. I have never been threatened in my
whole life!”
“Then you should think of this as me helping you to open your eyes. I will consolidate the invoice very
soon. As long as you pay thepensation, you can leave anytime you want.” Madeline waved her
hand to signal for Albert to start the calctions.
Albert knew what he had to do. He immediately produced a mini scanner and in no time, he was done
scanning every item that was damaged in the office.

Annalise finally realized that Madeline was not joking. She was so outraged that she didn’t know what
to do with her anger.
It was not that she didn’t have the money topensate for the damage. If she caved in, that would

most natural thing in the world.
He had enormous strength too. Annalise almost stumbled to the floor when he took his arm away.
“Speak properly! Don’t be too touchy with me! My wife wouldn’t be happy to see this!” Noah’s hand was
shuddering as if he was on edge.
He had no qualms to spark some jealousy in his wife, but it was another thing if he was seen mingling
around with other women.
He would not even think of that!
He did not dare to do that!
After all, it took him some effort to calm his agitated wife down. If he made things worse which caused
her to stomp away in fury, he would definitely regret that!
“Noah, why are you like this? I really don’t want to listen to a word thates out of this woman’s
mouth…” Annalise steadied herself and she resumed her effort to inch closer to Noah with that pitiful
look on her face.
Noah did not conceal the fact that his mood had worsened. Just as he was about to give a final
warning, his wife finally made her move.
With a loud snap, Annalise’s wrist seemed to flop down as if the strings on it were cut.
Although her wrist was dislocated, Annalise was making a scene since she had never experienced this
kind of agony before. Her face turned pale.
“Ahh! My hand! My hand is broken!”
She held her dislocated wrist with her other hand and she was at a loss.

The curtains finally fell on this fiasco. It ended with Annalise’s broken wrist.
Madelin was able to get the result she wanted, which put her in a good mood.
The only minor dissatisfaction she had was the sight of Noah. She could never get used to him being

“I really wish that you won’t invite nonsensical people like them to make my life hard. If this happens

Madeline responded with a slight chuckle, then she turned around and disappeared into the office next
door with Professor Seeker.
Noah followed them on reflex, but he was cruelly left outside the office.
He almost smashed his nose on the door.
“Sir, I don’t think the atmosphere feels right. Is Mrs. Quincy angry now?”
“Of course she is. No, she’s actually just feeling jealous!” Noah replied in a cherry tone. He even
sounded like a proud husband.
Wayne stared at his master and couldn’t help but feel worried.
He thought, Sir, you’re denied entry to the room. I don’t think Mrs.Quincy is simply having a jealous fit.

Bruno needed cash flow for two of his real estate businesses, so he had been lowering his prices way
beyond the market price. In just one night, he was able to rake in ten million dors in cash.
Although things had be so worse to the point that he had to rent a ce in the Ring Community,
he still felt more at ease with that money in his pocket.
