Annalise was shocked beyond belief. Her hand was trembling when she pulled it back.
“Noah, what did you just call her?”
Annalise was still in a daze, but before she could get her answer, she was shoved to one side by Noah.
Madeline saw that Annalise had let go of her, so she continued walking, but her hand was abruptly
grabbed by Noah.
“My wife, you’re hurt!”

She could not figure out her feelings sometimes. She should be facing him without any emotion, but
