Chapter 36- Request

    Sajal has just opened her eyes and found herself in the hospital. She noticed that her one leg and one


    arm is bandaged. Otherwise, she is fine. She isn''t severely injured.


    Sajal looked at her surrounding and found her grandma, Haniya and Meher are standing in the room.


    Her grandma is looking at her angrily, Haniya is looking at her with an iprehensible expression


    and Meher is just ring at her holding Mehrab in her arms. Mehrab is sleeping peacefully in his


    mother''s embrace.

    Sajal''s blood started boiling with pure rage after seeing Meher. She is feeling like to choke Meher''s


    neck right now. She ignored Meher and looked at her grandma.


    " Dadi, how is Sehreyar?" Sajal asked her grandma worriedly.


    A sharp pnded on her face making itpletely red. Sajal touched the area where her dadi''s


    hand connected. She looked at her grandma with disbelief. It''s the first time that her grandma has


    pped her.


    " Why did you lie about your pregnancy?" Sehreyar''s dadi asked Sajal angrily who is still in shock after


    earning the hard p.


    Sajal replied trying to defend herself," What are you talking about? I am pregnant with Sehreyar''s


    baby."


    " What I am talking about? Huh! If you are pregnant then why did the doctor say that you aren''t


    pregnant," Sehreyar''s Dadi snapped at Sajal.


    Sajal took a deep breath and understood that it will be a futile attempt if she again lies. She understood


    that her pregnancy game is over.


    " What I should have done then? Your grandson doesn''t look at me nor he gives me the rights of a wife.


    He is still stuck with his whore. That''s why I lied to bound him with me," Sajal replied angrily looking at


    Meher.


    Meher is ring at Sajal with confusion. She isn''t understanding why Sajal talked like that. Meher


    remembered that letter where Sehreyar clearly wrote that he loves Sajal and he wants Meher to be


    dead.


    On the other hand, Haniya isn''t shocked after hearing Sajal. She knew Sajal''s obsession with Sehreyar


    from the very first. She didn''t expect that Sajal will act of fake pregnancy just to bind Sehreyar with her.


    She never thought that Sajal will be so crazy that she went to kill Meher.


    Haniya isn''t ming Meher for anything. She is now understanding everything. She understood that


    Meher is innocent because she had heard the conversation of her grandma and Meher. She


    understood that Meher is also a victim like her.


    Sehreyar''s Dadi is continuously scolding Sajal for lying about the pregnancy. She said to Sajal sternly,"


    What will you say to Sehreyar? Huh!  If Sehreyar divorces you for your lies then I will not do anything


    this time."


    " Please, Dadi. Don''t tell anything to him. Just tell him that I miscarried," Sajal said to her grandma


    almost crying.


    They are severely fighting over this matter when two policemen, one is a constable and another one is


    an inspector entered the hospital cabin.


    Everybody looked at them surprisingly because none of them has called the police. Only Meher is


    impassive seeing the police.


    " What are you doing here, Inspector? We didn''t call you here," Sehreyar''s Dadi asked the inspector.


    " We need to interrogate Mrs Sajal Seikh," The inspector informed.


    Sajal asked knitting her brows," And why is that?"


    " Meher Afroz Khan has filed aint against you. Sheined that you tried to kill her son,"

    Sehreyar''s Dadi, Sajal and Haniya looked at Meher with their wide eyes who is just looking at Sajal


    angrily.


    Meher can''t let go of this matter so easily. After all, it''s the matter of her son''s life. She has stayed quiet


    for a long time. She can''t be quiet for her whole life. She needs to stand up for her son''s safety.


    " You called them here? How dare you to involve the police in our personal matters? Sehreyar''s Dadi


    asked Meher angrily.


    Meher snapped at Sehreyar''s Dadi," What do you think of yourself? Huh! I have endured enough


    because of your family. I will not endure it anymore. What did you think, your crazy granddaughter


    would try to kill my son and I will just keep quiet! Not this time."


    " Ay Ladki, tujhe pata bhi hey ki tu kisse panga ley rahi hey? ( Hey girl, do you have any idea with him


    you are messing up?" Sehreyar''s Dadi tried to scare Meher.


    Meher didn''t say anything to Sehreyar''s Dadi. She isn''t afraid anymore. For her son, she can''t be


    scared this time. She said to the inspector," Officer, I request you to investigate this matter and throw


    this woman behind the bar."


    Meher said ring at Sajal and left the hospital cabin before Sehreyar''s dadi could say anything.


    Haniya also followed Meher. She wants to talk with Meher.


    On the other hand, Sehreyar''s Dadi tried to bribe the inspector but failed miserably. She also tried to


    threaten the inspector but the inspector didn''t give any shit about her threatening.


    The inspector said to Sajal," You are in our custody. You will not leave the hospital without our


    permission. We will interrogate you after your discharge."


    Saying that the inspector left the hospital cabin and told the constable to keep his watch on Sajal so


    that she can''t escape.


    The moment everybody left Sehreyar''s Dadi snapped at Sajal," Did I tell you to kill that whore? Did I tell


    you to put your leg in this matter? Now, face the consequences."


    " Dadi, please help me," Sajal requested crying.


    Sehreyar''s Dadi snapped at Sajal," I will not help you this time. Because of your stupidity, everything


    happened. You are aplete fool."


    Saying all this she also left the cabin angrily leaving behind a devastated Sajal who is crying.


    After crying for some time, Sajal wiped her tears and said like a psycho," Next time I will kill you for


    sure Meher Afroz Khan."


    Haniya''s p.o.v


    I was talking to Adeel when Bhaiya''s driver called me and informed that Sajal bhabhi(sister inw) has


    shot Bhaiya.


    I couldn''t believe what I have heard. I wasn''t understanding how it can possible. Why would bhabhi try


    to kill Bhaiya where she loves him so much? I was too much worried about Bhaiya and confused as


    well as hearing everything.


    I reached the hospital and heard Dadi''s scolding voice. I noticed that she is scolding a young girl who is


    holding a little child in her embrace. The girl was looking so innocent just like an Angel. She was


    looking so pure. Just looking at her innocent face anyone will fall in love with her. But, I wasn''t


    understanding why Dadi was scolding her.


    After hearing their conversation my every confusion became clear. I understood that the girl is none


    other than Adeel''s sister Meher and she was also a victim like me.


    I might have endured Adeel''s wrath but this poor girl has endured much more than me. I started feeling


    very bad and pity for her.


    Right now, Meher is in front of me sitting on a bench with her son who is busy sucking a lollipop. Meher


    is looking so worried.


    " I am sorry for whatever my brother did to you," I said to her politely.


    She looked at me with her innocent eyes and replied politely," I am also sorry from my brother''s side.


    He shouldn''t have brought you between his rivalry with Mr Seikh."


    " I am sorry that my family misbehaved with you where you arepletely innocent," I said with too


    much guilt.


    She replied smiling at me," You don''t have to say sorry. It''s not your fault. It''s my destiny who isn''t


    helping me much."


    She said thest sentence with too much sadness in her voice. I can see her teary eyes which she


    controlled immediately.


    " Bohut Payara bha hey( Such a sweet kid)," I said pulling Mehrab''s cheeks to divert Meher''s mind


    from crying.


    Meher smiled at me and said patting Mehrab''s head," Yeyy meri Zindagi hey(he is my life).


    " If you don''t mind can I ask you something? I asked her hesitantly.


    She asked me curiously," Why not? Tell me what do you want to know?"


    " I know that Mehrab is bhaiya''s son. Adeel has already told me everything. Don''t you want your son''s


    right from my brother? Mehrab needs to know about his father," I asked her and she became still in her


    ce in her ce.


    I saw her looking down and taking a deep breath. I saw a drop of tear escaping her eyes.


    She replied with a painful expression on her face," I don''t want that man to know my son''s identity. I


    don''t need his eptance. He never wanted children with me. He has ruined my life enough. I don''t


    want him again in my life."


    I became silent hearing her. I can''t say anything. I have lost my words. I can feel the pain in her voice.


    I am still silent when she requested me, "Haniya Ji, please make your grandma and sister inw


    understand that I don''t want to be in Mr Seikh''s life. Tell them to stay away from my life."


    " Don''t worry. They will not disturb you again," I assured her with a smile.


    Then she said standing up from the bench," Say thanks to your brother from my side for saving me and


    my son. And also tell him to note after me. Make him understand that he is married and promised


    to someone else."


    She said thest part with her heavy voice indicating she is too much hurt. She shouldn''t be hurt if she


    doesn''t have any feelings for bhaiya.


    Without thinking anything further I asked her sternly," Do you love my brother?"


    I saw her wide eyes after hearing my question. She is blinking her eyes repeatedly. I saw her taking a


    deep breath.


    " No," She sternly replied and immediately left the hospital without ncing back.


    " Is she saying the truth? I said to myself when a ward boy informed me that bhaiya has opened his


    eyes.
