Meher entered the hospital cabin and found that Asif is half-lying on the bed and a doctor is checking
him.
" Asif," Meher uttered with her cracking voice where tears are soaking her cheeks. These are the tears
of happiness. Finally, her one brother is with her. She couldn''t believe that her brother is sitting on the
bed like a normally. It''s been a long time since she saw him like that.
Asif looked at the door and found his sister. He said smiling," Meher api(sister)".
He also cried out loudly seeing his sister after so many days.
Meher run towards her brother and hugged him tightly. She said crying," I missed you, Asif."
" I also missed you, api," Asif said hugging Meher tightly.
They are hugging each other so tightly like there is no tomorrow. After some moments, they broke the
hug.
Asif looked at Meher and saw many changes in his sister. She is looking a little bit fat than before. He
found that she is looking too much upset and worried. Her eyes are looking red and puffy indicating she
has cried so much. Dark circle are visible under her eyes.
Asif asked Meher with a concerning voice," Api, are you ok? You are looking tensed. What happened to
you?"
Meher stared at his face for some time. She can''t tell him what''s happening in her life. Asif has just
happening in his sister''s life. But, for now, he shouldn''t know about all this.
Meher replied having a fake smile," I am good. Tell me, are you having any kind of pain anywhere?"
Meher asked hurriedly to divert Asif''s attention from her.
Asif nodded his head in negative and asked Meher worriedly," What about Adeel bhaiya? Is he still in
jail? Why didn''t hee to meet me?"
Meher replied holding Asif''s hands tightly," Asif, listen to me carefully, in these 7 months many things
have happened. I will tell you everything slowly. But, not now. You need to be fine now. Don''t stress
yourself."
" But, Api. What happ........." Asif tried to say when Meher stopped his saying by putting her index finger
on his lips.
She said giving him a forced smile," No, but. Just listen to your sister. Ok?"
Asif sighed and didn''t say anything further. The doctor is still checking Asif''s report.
Meher asked the doctor worriedly," Is everything fine? Will he be ok?"
" He is quite fine now. But, he has to be in the hospital for one more week. We will monitor his condition
to see that he ispletely fine or not and then we will give him discharge," The doctor replied with his
professional tone and excused himself.
Meher and Asif are now alone in the room. Meher is thinking how will she take Asif to Sehreyar''s
farmhouse because she has nowhere to go. She is thinking What will Asif think about her! She is
already too much worried about her pregnancy and now Asif''s matter.
Suddenly, Meher said to Asif worriedly," You should have been careful while crossing the road. See,
because of your carelessness you have ended up on the hospital bed."
" Api, I wasn''t care less. That car intentionally bumped me," Asif replied hurriedly.
Meher''s eyes get widened and she asked him curling her brows," What do you mean?"
" I am telling the truth, Api. Someone intentionally caused the ident. I don''t know why would
someone try to kill me? Asif said having an iprehensible expression on his face.
" Do you remember anything about the car? Or the driver? We have to report it to the police," Meher
asked Asif worriedly.
Asif nodded his head in negative and Meher is now confirmed that all those incident happened 7
months ago wasn''t any kind of coincidence. Someone intentionally did all this. And, Meher''s first doubt
went on Sehreyar.
After that, Meher and Asif talked for some time. Asif was continuously asking about Meher''s condition
but Meher ignored his all questions. She only told him that she will make everything ok. She also told
him that for her brothers sake she will do anything. Asif didn''t understand any of his sister''s words.
After meeting Asif, Meher came out of the hospital cabin and made her mind to meet a gynaecologist.
She wanted to be sure that she is pregnant or not. She is still in a daze that she is pregnant.
Without wasting any time Meher walked towards the gynaecology department. She is still a little bit
optimistic that she might not be pregnant. All those symptoms are the symptoms of another disease.
Right now, meher is sitting in front of thedy doctor having a worried expression on her face. The
doctor has checked Meher and the report is in her hand.
The doctor said looking at Meher''s face," You are 2 months pregnant and the baby is ok."
Meher''s body turned cold and few drops of tear escaped from her eyes hearing the doctor. She is trying
to control her outburst by biting her lips and fisting her palms.
The doctor noticed her and asked with concern," Are you ok? You are looking nervous. Every woman
looks happy when theye to know that they are going to be a mother. But, you are looking sad. Why
are you crying?"
Meher wiped her tears and said with a sad smile," Umm.. Yeah. I am fine. I am just over excited about
my pregnancy."
The doctor understood that this poor girl must be facing some kind of difficulties. She asked Meher
hesitantly," If you don''t mind, can I ask you something?"
Meher just nodded her head in positive. She is too much upset and scared about this pregnancy. She
can''t even imagine what will Sehreyar do with her after knowing about all this.
" Are you married? Where is your husband? He didn''te with you," The doctor asked Meher and
she just gulped down her saliva because of nervousness.
Meher asked timidly," Why are you asking all this?"
" You are too young to be a mother. You are just 18. I wanted to see that man who married such a
young girl and made her pregnant," The doctor replied having an ufortable expression on her
face.
Meher didn''t say anything about this matter. She just thanked the doctor and came out of the hospital.
She is too much nervous and afraid. But, an affectionate smile formed on her lips thinking that a small
baby is growing inside her. She always loved children and now happy thinking that she will have her
own baby.
Her innocent subconscious consoled her saying," He was angry that''s why he told that he will not
ept your baby."
" No father can refuse his child. He will be happy knowing that a baby will call him Abbu(father)," Meher
thought being a little bit of optimistic.
She is forgetting the fact that Sehreyar is blinded by revenge. He doesn''t care about her.
Then, She said holding her belly protectively," Don''t worry, my baby. Mamma will always protect you. I
will do anything for your safety. Ah is with us. I will convince your Abbu to ept you. Don''t worry."
At Night
Meher''s p.o.v
I am sitting on the living room couch and waiting for his return. I don''t wait for him the other days but
today I am waiting for him. I have to tell him that I am carrying his baby. I am still a little bit of optimistic
that he will be happy hearing the news.
The maids have already left the house and now I am alone in this house. I am just hoping that he will
ept my baby.
After a few seconds, I heard the doorbell ringing. I almost run to open the door. I know who hase.
