prisoner. Unfortunately, she’d been uncooperative and far too indomitable.
Howard kept Jenny locked in a dark dungeon and didn’t give her any food. Time passed by from
seconds to minutes and then to days. Jenny was so starved that she’d lost all sense of time. She had
no idea how long she’d spent in that wretched dungeon.
Was it one day? Or was it ten days?
Jenny didn’t know, but she knew that she was about to die.
Suddenly, with a nging sound, the iron door opened. Jenny thought Howard hade since he
often visited and asked her the same few questions every single time. She’d grown tired of hearing
those repetitive questions.
“Will you stay willingly now?”
