Chapter 732
Chapter 732
Owen said, “It depends on the circumstances. Normally, an armed fight could get you up to three years
in prison. If it’s serious, it could be anywhere from three to ten years.”
Everyone fell silent.
Clyde snapped, “Stop spreading panic here!”
Liam nced at him nonchntly and said, “I’m just educating our employees about thew.”
He turned to the crowd and said, “Three years or ten years, take your pick.”
Silence.
They had weapons, but they never really nned to use them. They just wanted to intimidate the other
side. Who would’ve guessed that the one they were trying to intimidate was the co–CEO of their
company?
Who would dare to take a swing?
Liam, having removed his suit and rolled up his sleeves, asked, “Are we doing this all at once or one at
a time?” More silence.
Who would dare touch thepany’s CEO? Are they joking?
Seeing the situation, the head of security tried to appease Clyde, saying, “Sir, family members should
get along. Disputes can be settled through discussion; there’s no need for violence
Furious, Clyde retorted, “Did I call you here to mediate?”
The head of security looked awkward. Clyde was the boss, and Liam was also the boss. They weren’t
people he could afford to offend.
So they just stood there at a stalemate.
Before long, they heard the sound of a car engine.
Soon after, footsteps were heard, followed by a voice saying, “Sorry to interrupt, we’re the police. We
received a report that a suspect named Kaylee is hiding here. We want to talk to Miss Kaylee about the
situation.” He scanned the room and asked, “Who here is Miss Kaylee?”
Kaylee was in total panic. She never thought Liam would actually call the cops.
Pale–faced, she tried to sneak away, but Liam grabbed her wrist and pulled her over, saying, “She’s the
one.”
The cop looked at Kaylee and said, “Pleasee with us.”
Clyde stepped forward and said, “Officer, Kaylee is hardly a suspect. I’ve already arranged for awyer.
If you have any questions, you canmunicate with thewyer.”
The two cops exchanged a nce, and one of them said, “We just want to understand the situation.”
“I’ve told you, thewyer will cooperate with your work.” After saying this, Clyde nced at Liam and
said, “I think what you should be concerned about now is the issue of trespassing. Our door was
knocked down for no reason; I need an exnation.”
The cops naturally noticed the knocked–down door.
One of them asked, “Who did this?”
Clyde remained silent, but his gaze was fixed on Liam.
Just as the cop was about to question him further, car honks were heard outside. A small truck parked
at the entrance, and several workers got off and started to unload.
The cop stepped outside and asked, “What are you guys doing?”
One of the workers replied, “We’re here to install a door; weren’t you the ones who called us?”
Owen exined, “Officer, my boss noticed his uncle’s door had been used for many years, so he
decided to rece it with a new one. Who would barge into someone’s house and offer to install a
door?”
Clyde scoffed, “Who brings bodyguards to rece a door?”
Owen replied, “Doesn’t that just show our sincerity? On the other hand, you brought a gang of people
carrying clubs. Anyone uninformed might think a fight was about to break out.”
The cop only then noticed the weapons behind the crowd, and his face turned serious.
The head of security coughed, put on an awkward smile, and said, “We’re all family; how could we
possibly fight? We’re also here to help rece his door. We brought these tools just in case we needed
more.”
After saying this, he shouted, “Let’s all go help the workers.”
So a group of people rushed to help install the door–quite a sight.
Clyde was speechless.
Just as the cop was about to speak, he received a video from his colleague.
In the video, Kaylee was seen pouring hot water on someone, which proved that she had deliberately
harmed others. The message from his colleague read, “Arrest her immediately; the victim has reported
the case.”
So the cop directly told Kaylee, “Miss Kaylee, we suspect you’re involved in a case of assault. We need
you toe with us.” Just as Clyde was about to speak, the cop interrupted him, saying, “You can hire
awyer for her, but only after our questioning. Now, please do not hinder police duties.”

So, amidst Kaylee’s screams, she was taken away by the police
Listening to the pitiful screams, Clyde’s face turned grim..
He red at Liam and said, “Liam, well done!”
Liam replied, “Thanks for thepliment,” then turned to Owen and said, “Send the bill for the door to
my uncleter; he doesn’t like owing people.”
