    " I''ll help you instead " He said hoarsely and pulled her in for a deep kiss in which Ca responded


    to immediately. He kissed her until they were both out of breath. She helped him pull out of his


    clothes quickly because they were proving to be a hindrance to having ess to his body.


    " Easy vixen, I''m all yours " He whispered and helped her pull out of his suit. He carried her to the


    bed andid her down. Her hair was sprawled all over the bed and she stared up at him innocently.


    Soon they were rolling on the bed,ughing and enjoying the feel of each other''s body in the heat of


    passion. That night, he made slow, passionate love to her. The next morning, they dressed up and


    went to see her mother. Of course Georgia was happy to see the couples and they left for Mexico


    not long after that. Ca felt like aplete, fulfilled woman and she liked feeling.


    A weekter, she woke up one morning feeling quite strange. The bed space next to her was empty


    which meant Liam had left for work. He left a note for her on the table and she smiled after reading


    what he wrote. Suddenly, she felt as though there were giant ants in her tummy and also vomit up


    her throat. She rushed into the bathroom and emptied all she ate the night before, even though


    most of the food had digested. She felt so weak that walking back to the bedroom proved to be


    difficult. She dragged herself to the table for some water.


    She felt strange, did she have fever? Caught the flu perhaps? She shuddered at thetter thought


    and went straight to bed. She didn''t want Liam to worry about her so she was going to try her best


    to sleep early and keep it from him l, at least until she went for a checkup and found out what


    caused the tiredness and all that. Liam came home that night, feeling something was off but he


    couldn''t ce a finger on it. Ca was asleep and one look at her face, he could guess something


    was wrong with her.


    He checked her pulse and body temperature but everything was normal so why did he feel so


    uneasy? So bad he had to leave for work very early the next morning because he had to tie up


    some loose ends and seal an important deal. Well, he could alwayse back home after he


    signed the contract, couldn''t he? He was the boss after all. Pulled off his clothes and got into bed


    with her. He tucked her in properly andid down, facing the ceiling. Sleep eluded him and he


    thought of what to do to rx his mind and make him go to sleep quickly until he finally arrived at a


    solution. He cuddled her close and she sighed contentedly. It was as if he knew cuddling her was


    the thing he had been waiting for because he slept in minutes.


    Ca woke up the next morning to see Liam had left her a note again. Thank goodness he left for


    work early today too, she thought to herself. If Liam had seen her this way, he would instantly know


    something was amiss with her. She showered quickly and called for Ben.


    He appeared shortly after " Good morning Ma''am " He greeted politely and Ca smiled warmly but


    it didn''t quite reached her eyes as she was in no condition to smile.


    " A good morning to you too Ben, how are you this morning? "

    " What''s your schedule this morning? I want you to take me somewhere " Ca said, going straight


    to the subject. And of course, Ben was always prepared for things like that because it was his job.


    " To where ma''am? " He asked politely but there was a hint of curiosity that was hard to ignore


    beneath his hard demeanor.


    " Hospital Ben, hospital " She blurted out and searched his face for any reaction. His eyes widened


    slightly but his expression gave nothing more away other than that.


    " BUT... You are not going to tell Liam anything " She added sternly.


    He looked up, startled " But... But ma''am, he''ll definitely ask and... "


    Ca cut him off " Don''t. Tell. Him. Anything, I''ll handle it " She repeated louder this time and ced


    emphasis on her words.


    The poor driver seemed to have been put in a difficult situation because he looked lost for some


    minutes, thinking of how he would escape the situation without Liam having his head or worse,


    losing his job? Heck, he was doomed.


    " But... What if the boss ask, what will I say? I can''t possibly lie to him, can I? He''s going to have my


    head if he finds out I''ve been lying to him this whole time. I could lose my job ma''am " He finally


    voiced out his worries.


    Ca smiled at him reassuringly " No cause for rm Ben, nothing will happen, I assure you. Tell


    me something, how would he know if you don''t tell him i went out at all? So chill, okay? " She patted


    him on the back lightly.


    " Okay ma''am " He replied automatically and left, his footsteps fading away by the minute.


    Ca sighed and went in to get ready. She didn''t have appetite but felt she had to eat, just in case it


    turned out the doctor would run a test on her so she quickly prepared some scrambled eggs and


    made a cup of coffee to go with. She ate some mouthfuls and went back to the bedroom to finish


    the light touches of her makeover. She had a philosophy that said she shouldn''t look like whatever it


    was that was eating her up.


    Suddenly she felt queasy, it was like there was something running up her throat and before she


    knew it, she quickly rushed into the toilet and emptied the whole content of the little breakfast she


    had. She held a finger to her forehead as a headache was beginning to form.
