    She is inside Nick''s office. She decided to finish her designs for the presentation tomorrow She wants


    to avoid Cherry because she knows that she will ask her tons of questions . After Nick left, she cried for


    a few minutes. She is at fault.


    She was chewing at the tip of her pen while thinking when she heard two knocks before it was opened.


    "Hi Stacey!" Cherry greeted her with a wide smile.


    She sighed. She can''t evade the secretary and her questions now.


    "Sir Nick''s driver asked me to give this to you...hmmm..I wonder why he has it? " she said with a


    teasing smile before handing her car key.


    "Remember I left yesterday? I was nning to buy something from the convenience store downstairs


    but they don''t have it so I decided to use my car to go to another one. Unfortunately, when I was about


    to leave the shop, my car acted up so I called sir Nick. He called his driver to get the car and have it


    fixed. I had a very bad headache so I told our boss that I won''t go back to the office. His driver got the


    key from mest night. " she lied as she crossed her fingers.


    She is hoping that Cherry won''t notice that she just made that all up.


    " Okay. But how would you exin what happened a while ago? Sir Nick was your night in shining


    armor! I haven''t seen him so angry but honestly, that was a major turn on!"


    Stacey sighed then stood up to look out the window. She checked the time and she realized that Nick


    has been out for 2 hours already. She is wondering if he wille back to the office. She hopes he

    " Mr. Enriquez deserved what Mr. Alcantara did to him. It isn''t the first time that I pped him. He said


    something offensive to me so I pped him during our first meeting in my previouspany. " she told

    "I am not surprised. There has been rumors going around that Mr. Enriquez is a pervert. I am lucky that


    I am not his type. He likes beautiful women like you. I think that is one downside of being gorgeous.


    You attract pervs easily." Cherry said with a giggle which made her shake her head.


    "Beauty runs in your family. Your younger sister is pretty too but I think her personality is far from


    pretty." the secretary snorted.


    "Our mother spoiled her so I am sorry if she was a bit rude to you. "


    "No need to apologize. I understand. It''s just that I feel sorry that you are in a difficult situation."


    Stacey frowned a little. "What do you mean?"


    "Obviously your sister likes sir Nick too. There''s a chance that you will fight over him. I can''t imagine


    being in your shoes. "

    Nick never showed up again. It is 5 PM. She decided to go to Eve and ke''s bar. She doesn''t want to


    sulk at home. She looked at her phone only to find out she got not no message or call from Nick nor


    Derick.


    She sighed. She hasn''t seen nor talk to Nick for several hours and she is going to see Derick on Friday


    which is two days from now. She misses both of them but she badly wants to talk to Nick because she


    owes him an apology.


    She made a decision. She will send him a message.

    After sending the message she dialed Derick''s number but it wasn''t even ringing. She hasn''t talked to


    him since yesterday. He didn''t send her any messages either. With a sigh, she maneuvered her car out


    of the parking lot.

    Billy got off early from work because Nick called him and asked him if they could chill at his unit. Nick


    seldom asks him favors so he immediately said yes. He told her about what Jim did to Stacey. Knowing

    said before gulping some beer.


    "Look mate! I think it''s best if you let Stacey do the first move this time. Let her miss you!" Billy said with


    augh.


    Nick chuckled." I''ll try."

    Nick shook his head while still smiling. He then got his phone. His smile became wider.


    Stacey messaged him. His woman said sorry.


    With satisfaction, he gulped down the remaining beer . This is what he was waiting for. He wanted her


    to reach out to him first. He is satisfied to know that finally she realized that Jim told her pack of lies.


    "Dang mate! I know that grin. Your Stacey sent you a message! Don''t tell me you will easily give in?"


    "Fuck off Billy!" he said with a chuckle and dialed Stacey''s number.


    "Wooot!! Nick Alcantara is in-love!!"


    Nick, while grinning, threw his can at Billy but he caught it.

    He moved and sat on the chair opposite her.
