“What?! I am thankful Elisa didn’te here!” John was relieved. It might not be ideal to intervene in his grandson’s rtionship, but that was hisst hope for them to be together.
Clenching his fist, Robert was aware they nned to take Elisa away. He wanted to choose on his own who he wanted to marry, not them to choose.
“I know all along you wanted a divorce. Why can’t you just try if it works?” John suggested. “I don’t want you to regret it in the end.
*I am now regretting it…. regretting I married her without me knowing, Robert mumbled.
Shaking his head, John was confused about what was wrong with Elisa. For John and Anna, she was already the perfect wife.
“Come on, why do you want divorce?” John was curious.
“I don’t need to exin again. You know it, Robert replied coldly, darting his eyes back to hisputer.
“What?! She’s even the reason why you are awake! She’s the woman you need!” John eximed. “Your mother and I prefer her to be with you. Can’t you see her beauty! She’s gorgeous. You and her are perfect to be together.
Robert shook his head. “I don’t care if she is. I don’t like her, and we shall get a divorce as soon as possible. That’s final.”
“You still won’t listen?” John wanted to persuade him, but it seemed he wouldn’t listen anymore.
“No. She’s a gold digger. She just wants money!” Robert rified.
John crossed his arms, looking around. He didn’t get it.
“You’re using her of nothing. You don’t have proof!” John said.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDra/ma.O(r)g!
“I don’t care,” he replied.
John shook his head. “If you want to pursue divorce, do you have someone to marry?”
Robert didn’t reply and acted as if he was too busy reading something on hisputer.
“See, you don’t even have someone to marry with. I will only support you to divorce unless you have someone to marry with. I will pay all the expenses of the wedding. But if your hatred for her just brings it, I won’t let you divorce! John eximed.
Even though Robert wanted to name a woman, he had no one to tell.
“Look, you are lying to me. You can’t fool me,” John said, shaking his head. “If this is the case, then I will not let you divorce unless you die, or I die!”
With that, Robert paused, aware that he could still do everything. It was his life, not from his grandpa and
mother.
“Get lost. I am working, and you’re disturbing me,” said Robert coldly.

“Fine. But since you haven’t eaten much, I’ll let the servant save it for you,” added John.
“That’s not needed. Haven’t you heard what I said? I’m full,” Robert lied.
“Forget it! I don’t want to force you!” John replied, turned around, and left his room.

Robert heaved a sigh as soon as the door was shut. He leaned on his swivel chair and stared at the ceiling.
“Damnit. How can I divorce if their support is for her?” Robert mumbled.
Many questions lingered on his mind, but none could be answered. What was evident on his end was that Elisa did not even want to divorce him.
It was gettingte at night. He turned off theputer and decided to rest.
On the flip side, Elisa stood in front of a luxurious vi. It was wide, and she could easily tell how wealthy they were.
“Wow,” Elisa mumbled.
“Elisa,e on, don’t you want to enter?” Anna asked.
That made Elisae back to her senses. She said, “Coming! Sorry, I just found this vi very luxurious. You know, we’re not that rich, so….
“It’s okay.” replied Anna.
On the side, Anna raised her finger and pressed her thumb on the fingerprint detector.
[ess epted! Fingerprints registered sessfully. Wee home!]
Elisa was startled upon hearing the system’s voice.
“This house is so high–tech!” Elisaplimented. “Was this yours? I mean, don’t get me wrong.”
“Yep. I am from New York, but when I was still young, I went to the capital with my parents,” Anna exined as soon as she pushed open the door. She entered first, and Elisa followed behind. “So after I married Robert’s father, I stayed here myself.”
“Okay,” replied Elisa, and her gaze wandered inside.
“Since I bought this house, I wanted you to feel that this is yours too, Anna added, tapping Elisa’s hands.
“What?!” Elisa was stunned. She just wanted to stay here for the meantime and didn’t anticipate she would also be the owner of it.
“Don’t mind it. What matters now, is your mother, Anna said as soon as they reached the living room. “Anyway, about your mom, we have already gone to the hospital to go through procedures.”
Elisa sat on the sofa and worried, “How about the….
Anna interjected, “We have covered it from hospital expenses and everything. Please don’t worry. Tomorrow morning, we will go to the hospital to pick up your mother.”
“Thank you so much!” Elisa was on cloud nine and wanned her hands around Anna “You don’t know how

Anna felt how genuine she was. She looked at the wall clock, stared back at her, and said, “It is time. I have to go back as I have a meeting to attend, Would you be fine if you guided yourself into the master’s. bedroom? That’s where you can stay.”
“Sure! There’s no need to worry about me. I can handle myselff Elisa rified and smiled to assure Anna.
With that. Ania waved goodbye to her and reminded her to fall once she needed something and left.
The surrounding was surrounded by silence. Only Elisa’s footsteps heading upstairs could be heard around. When she reached the second floor, it took minutes to arrive at the master’s bedroom. It was so huge that she almost lost.
The master bedroom had it all, from the balcony to the walk–in closet, and almost everything needed was there. It had a wonderful mountainside view that made the room toofortable to stay with.
“Hmm. First time to be in this luxurious room. How I missed staying in my apartment…” Elisa mumbled.
“Breakfast is ready!”
Elisa was about to go upstairs and told Anna that every dish she had prepared had been served.
However, Anna was awake and about to go into the kitchen. She smelled delicious dishes being cooked there, which made her wonder who was there. It turned out to be Elisa.
“You woke up early just to cook food for us?” Anna was quite amused. She didn’t tell her to do it and just wanted to feelfortable staying at the vi.
Elisa was puzzled. “Sorry, am I not allowed to cook?”
Anna waved her hand. She exined, I am just shook. I didn’t mean that. I mean that it’s amazing you are still thinking of cooking.”
“Oh, I just found no one here to do with us, so I did it myself,” Elisa said, leading all the way to the dining table. “Here, have a seat.”
“Alright. Thank you, Elisa,” Anna said.
Anna remained standing, observing Elisa, and smiled. She was touched as she had dreamed of having a daughter before, and unfortunately, she was destined to bear one son. Only if she had, then that would be how she felt. She was already satisfied.
“Is there any problem? You seem to be thinking a lot.” Out of the blue, Elisa said and served a bowl of rice on the table.
That made Annae back to her senses.
“I don’t have a problem, Elisa. I just have to think of something. Don’t worry,” Anna rified.
Anna then sat on the empty chair and thought for a while. She didn’t like how harsh and cold her son was She didn’t regret having a son but was just a bit disappointed.

With a blink, Anna looked at all the dishes on the table. It had fried eggs, bacon, and toasted whole wheat bread
“Wow. You really know how to cook, Elisa,‘ said Anna, wondering, “Did you cook all of this?”
“Yep, Elisa replied and sat on the opposite chair. “I don’t know what you want to cat, though. Cooking a lot gives you a lot of choices. Anyway, you better taste it.”
“I know this is delicious just by smelling it. I believe in you,” said Anna and started to taste it.
Anna’s eyes immediately widened, making Elisa scared it didn’t suit her taste.
“Elisa….” Anna began.
“Sorry. Does it not taste good?” Elisa said, her heart almost skipping a beat.
“Kidding. It tastes so good! You’re amazing! I wonder why Robert didn’t see this,”
