Chapter 74
The sound of her quick walking alerted the three people in the pond. Seeing who it was, the twins
suddenly called their mother''s name in joy and both, in their stubby feet, ran directly to meet her.
However, for the second time, Rawlf was quick and managed to lift both the cubs in his arms and
delivered them safely to their mother''s embrace. Although, it''s not really that way because the twins
were still held by Rawlf and only their upper body and stubby arms were on their mother.
"Baelfire, Baelfair, I have told you not to m on your mother directly, yesterday, remember?"
Rawlf''s stern yet soft voice reprimanded the twins. Although he could understand the cubs action but
their rushing, he''s afraid, might be too much for Veronica''s body to handle, absolutely forgetting the fact
that he himself witnessed how lethal she was thest time she was ''kidnapped''.
Baelfair giggled but wriggled her body trying to break away from his father''s embrace. In a
powdery voice she said, "Daaaad, Beyfey wants mammeh!"
"It''s okay, give her to me", Veronica turned to look at Rawlf, her burning passion for him was still
there but for the moment, as a mother, she had to cater with their children.
Yes, she''s a woman first before being a mother but after you became one, your priority tends to
naturally course to, being a mother first before being a woman.
Veronica hoped that this also applies to all the mothers out there.
"But...Fair is quiet...." Veronica heard Rawlf said carelessly yet stopped himself after realizing what
he''s about to say might offend their daughter. She chuckled.
Baelfair on the other hand pout after understanding what their father was about to imply that even
made Baelfire harrumph in amusement, to Baelfair''s annoyance.
''Daddeh!! Ah u cawing (calling) Beyfey phatt (fat)?!" The chubby little girl asked in a spoiled tone
as she and her duck face turned to look at her father, eyebrows knitted.
"Ah?!"Rawlf was quick to act innocent.
"Daddeh??!" Baelfire insisted.
Veronica giggled. Baelfire, in contentment with their father''s embrace, let go of Veronica while
watching his little twin sister with sparkling amusement in his eyes.
"Princess,..... daddy was just about to say that you Baelfair is smelling so good and daddy for the
meantime would want to have you all for himself." Rawlf replied affectionately and ruffled his daughter''s
hair gently.
"Werlly (really)?!"
Baelfire confirmed and saw their father nodded sincerely.
What Rawlf said was undeniably another truth
Baelfair turned to look at her twin brother smugly.
Baelfire on the other hand just shrugged it off, not wanting to engage himself with another rivalry
with this scheming twin sister of his.
In the end, the twins just kissed their mother a goodmorning yet remained in their father''s
embrace.
"What were you doing?" Veronica asked her little family after a while.
"Feeding the koi fish!!! Mammeh! They ah (are) so cute! Beyfey wanted to take them outta wattahh
(water) and kisst them but Beyfigh said they''ll die! Beyfey asked daddeh why and he said becoz…"
Bailfair paused to catch her breath from her unceasing chatter then continued, "becoz they evoved
(evolved) bwidthing (breathing) swaktcheh (structure) code (called) gills instead of wungs (lungs)!!"
A mixture of proud and fond expression danced through Rawlf''s face after witnessing another
moment that proved the innate genius in his children. He only said it once earlier without even paying
much attention because as a genius himself, and without realizing it, his exnation were technical
and too scientific for four years old children and yet, here is his daughter, making him realized how she
absorbed information too quick like a sponge and despite of her still childlike pronunciation.

Baelfair was still exining while the rest, Rawlf, Veronica and Baelfire turned silent, listening to
her.
The couple decided to sit on the wooden pavilion which Veronica finds toofortable and a

Seeing his twin sister enjoying it, Baelfire also followed suit.
When left alone, Veronica turned to Rawlf and cupped his face on her hands.
"Good Morning." She greeted btedly and kissed him on the lips with no reservation.
Rawlf, caught off guard, was suddenly lost after tasting his woman''s soft lips and deepened the
kiss for another minute before realizing that their children were just around them.
Veronica, who also realized this controlled her emotions and just savored their passion with each
other, snuggled her back on Rawlf''s broad chest.
"I think it will be perfect if we eat our breakfast here." Veronica then said.
"I think so too. I''ll call the butler", Rawlf replied, extreme fondnesscing his voice.
Good thing is that the cubs were so busy enjoying and ying with each other that they weren''t
able to witness their parents share a steamy kiss together.
Or so the couple thought...
Both the twins were able to catch a glimpse of their parents kissing but turned to look away
instantly.
They are their parents'' offspring and nothing will ever make the children happy more than seeing
them affectionate with each other.
It only means that now, they will have aplete family!
"I hope we''ll have a little brother soon. I want it to look like mommy this time", Baelfair suddenly
said.
Baelfire once again was lost in thought before replying.
"A brother? Won''t you want us to have a little sister that looks like mommy?" Baelfire tested.
Baelfair''s face turned ugly.
"No! I am already enough. A little brother that looks exactly like mommy is perfect."
"I guess I''ll agree...., one you is already enough." Baelfire replied with a certain agreement thinking
that another chattery girl in the family would add to the noise and chaos his little twin sister is already
capable of making.
