    Feeling light and content, that''s how Veronica woke up.


    She took her moment to savor this sense of feeling blessed and heaved a deep sigh of relief.


    After a while, she then opened her eyes as realization dawned on her that her little family; the cubs


    and Rawlf weren''t on the bed with her.


    Veronica furrowed.


    "Where are they?" She asked in confusion with a hoarse voice.


    Assuming that they might be downstairs, she slowly walked out of the bed to the bathroom and


    washed her face. After a while, Veronica went out and took her robe hanging inside the walk-in closet


    and covered herself with it then, she walked out of the room.


    Veronica was descending the staircase when she saw the butler passing below. "Good morning


    Butler Ro, where''s Rawlf and the cubs--- I mean the kids?"


    Seeing the young mistress from the stairs,the good butler bowed his head.


    "Good morning, young mistress. The young master and the kids were on the pond in the backyard.


    I can bring you there."


    "No, it''s okay. I''ll go."


    "If that''s the case, I''ll be leaving then to have the breakfast prepared."


    Veronica nodded her head as a response. But once again called out the butler after remembering


    another thing.

    The young master already asked for it earlier, the young mistress. I am about to ask Chef Boris for

    "That''s good. Thank you, good butler Ro", Veronica offered a kind smile towards the butler which


    made the butler bow his head even lower with deep piety. ''The future Sy Madame is the most gracious.''


    The butler thought, and the question to confirm the kids'' identity was lifted off his mind for a second.

    turned to walk and improved her pace.
