    "Madame Sy invited me to a ball tomorrow evening", Lisa started.


    Julie Tan on the other hand tried her best to suppress her sudden jolt of anger and p the cousin


    in her face. She heard it clearly, Madame Sy! Vanessa Sy! Rawlf Sy''s mother!! Her future mother in


    But why? And how?! This cousin was newly hired so howe she got the aloof madame Sy''s


    attention and even invited her to a ball.


    Julie Tan maintained her kind face as she fished out for more information from Lisa.


    "A ball tomorrow? You mean the fundraising event? I was invited too! Good thing that aunt


    Vanessa invited you", Julie smiled happily while shamelessly calling Vanessa Sy as her aunt when the


    madame had just only met her once from another fundraising event. There was an introduction


    between the madame and her as she was the current City I mayor''s daughter. Although brief and the


    madame was aloof yet Julie was very ecstatic to be acquainted with her future husband''s mother, her
