On the other hand, Rawlf was still at a loss as to what to do.
He already tasked his secretary to find a good, okay, that''s an understatement, best, best and
expensive gown for Veronica.
The fundraising ball was already set tomorrow evening and finding the best gown for his woman
was not really the problem.
The problem is, how will he exin and ask Veronica toe with him on the said event?
He doesn''t mind disappointing his mother by not attending the ball but Rawlf couldn''t understand
himself when the first thing that he did after reading the content of the invitation letter was to call
Secretary Ryan to find the best gown for Veronica.
Maybe, indeed, deep inside, he wanted to show off Veronica among the elites of high society and
to proim that the woman is his.
That way, no one would dare flirt with her or even think about coveting her.
Rawlf must admit it to himself that despite the immense power and influence he possesses, the
thought of losing Veronica made him scared.
Just the mere thought of it made him want to just put her in a cage, or build the highest tower or
even better, an underground mansion where he could have Veronica all for himself, not letting any
possibility of her leaving him.
But those urges, Rawlf realized, would most likely be the reason for the woman to leave him.
That''s why he had always been patient and kind to her for God knows how hard it is for him to
control his possessive urges of locking Veronica with him in the hotel suite for a week..or even better,
for eternity but then again, Rawlf thought, that was never the right way to treat his now most treasured
woman.
Those are mere urges but his emotional attachment for her runs deep in his bones that the thought
of Veronica crying or being mad at him to the point of hating him made Rawlf shivered involuntarily.
Veronica became his ultimate weakness and it''s toote for him to turn his back on her now. Rawlf
straightened his back as he smiled when another thought passed on him.
It''s about time to house his woman. He had been meaning to do that a few days back but
whenever he''s with Veronica, he would often forget anything else and just savor the moment of being
beside her.
To smell her fragrant hair, her soft skin, to embrace her petite and soft body against him and kiss
her sweet lips.
It''s beyond blissful especially whenever Veronica would act spoit just to appease his mood. Rawlf

After realizing himself acting like a sick, creepy, stalkery fool, Rawlf had the urge to facepalm
himself. What is this feeling?!
Another moment passed and Rawlf couldn''t focus so he decided to leave early so he would have
time to talk to Veronica.
Before leaving, he didn''t forget to message her to be back early at the suite as he had something
important to say.
The Sy International employees on the other hand had been on cloud nine the past weeks!
Their President, the ruthless, cold blooded President Rawlf Sy now oftentimes left very early which
meant, they themselves could leave right on time.
It has been a habit that they leave work past the office hours as they wanted to impress rather,
were embarrassed that their President did not even leave the building so how could they feel not
guilty and leave earlier than him?!
Well, they would eventually have to leave for home but at least, leaving work two or three hours
after the work hour was their way of showing how much devoted they are to their work.
After all, Sy International had been very generous to all its employees. Even a janitor wage is
higherpared to the pay of a regrized government employee.
Now the question is, what or who was the reason as to why the President had been leaving
work early and even arrivedte in the morning?!
If the question is answered by the ''what'', then it''s only temporary. But if it is a ''who'', praise the
heaven as it sent them their ultimate saviour and goddess.
Is she the futuredy boss?! The Sy International employees are already making a mental note
among themselves to be the kindest and devoted people to their futuredy boss!
While almost everyone in Sy International was hoping for the existence of a futuredy boss,
however, this is not the case for a certain newly hired woman.
Lisa Tan was in a cafe waiting for her cousin, Julie Tan. She''s got a lot of things to ''report'' to her as
the exchange of thetter asking her father to help her get hired in Sy International.
The deal was not within the knowledge of Julie''s father but she has to fulfill in order to secure and

Lisa''s line of thoughts was disturbed when a woman sophisticatedly seated herself in front of her.
Julie Tan, her soft, beautiful, kind and intelligent cousin envied and coveted by many in high

She was graciously smiling at her and the guilt of coveting Rawlf Sy for herself earlier was about to
eat her heart when she hardened it.

"You sound so formal Lisa. Call me the way you used to." Julie held her hand softly while staring in

"It has been good. The workce environment is healthy and I couldn''t thank you enough for
asking uncle to help me get hired."
"Oh, don''t mention it. As long as I''m capable ..or should I say as long as father is able to, we''ll help
you in the best that we can", Julie Tan replied gently, maintaining her kind face.
The years of acting divine towards everyone else even to a mere housemaid made it very easy for
her to maintain her soft and kind facade no matter how stressful and mad she is given any moment. Yet

directly talked between them, it was a ''read between the lines'' conversation and it won''t take anyone to
be very intelligent not to understand that Julie also wanted her help to ''monitor'' and be updated with
everything going on with the man she dearly adored.
Julie Tan was trying to hide her blushing cheeks. However, her next words confirmed Lisa''s earlier
understanding. "Lisa, ah, that''s embarrassing me but... you always know that I''ve always been fond of
Rawlf. So I really appreciate it that you''re helping me."
Julie Tan herself is not pretending, whenever anyone mentioned Rawlf''s name in front of her, she
would always involuntarily blushed. That proved how much she is madly in love with Rawlf Sy.
But this time, she carefully chose her words not to sound very desperate as to secure her prim
character and at the same time, send a gentle message to Lisa that she had been eyeing Rawlf Sy for
years now and to softly warn and guilt trip her if she would dare covet the man for herself. ''What an
