Rellik was crawling through the vent when he heard

Up ahead
He hurriedly crawled faster, kicked open the vent grate and jumped in the room without checking what was happening.
He saw the kid from earlier shooting at a whole horde of leapers

“Shit!” i cried out
A leaper jumped at me

A bullet landed into its skull it fell dead
“Here catch!” a voice yelled to my left
I turned to see rellik tossing me his mp5
I caught it and started firing at the leapers.
Rellik pulled out another mp5 he had and started to shoot at the leapers.
Rellik joined my side and together we shot down the last few leapers.
“So what happened?” rellik asked
“Leapers crawled through the darn walls and floor, they killed everyone…” i explained
I went to hand rellik his mp5 back
“Keep it” he said
I looked at the corpses on the ground when i noticed something on a leaper’s neck
I approached the body, it was a keycard
I yanked it off the dead leaper
“I was looking for this…” i said softly
“I have one of those” rellik said behind me

I turned around and approached him
“Where did you get it?” i asked
“It was in the basement” he said as he took it out of his back pocket
“Take it” he said as he handed it to me
“This means i can leave now” i said softly
Rellik grunted and started to walk away
“Wait, have you seen john?” i asked
“No” he said as he stopped moving
“You''re not coming with me?” i asked
“No” he said as he left the room

I walked through the weight room and approached the exit
I could see the outside
I used the cards on the card reader and pulled open the doors
The warm wind blew onto my face
I could see tree’s swaying
The blue sky
But… i closed the doors
“John… im not leaving without you” i said as ran out of the weight room and towards where he went last time… the sewers
I was running through the gym when suddenly someone yelled for me to stop
“Stop!” the voice yelled behind me
I turned and saw julia standing there
“Julia?” i asked
“Go save john” she said as she tossed something at me
I caught it and saw that was a metallic keycard “lab-east”
“What''s this?” i asked
“The truth” she said
“What truth?” i asked
She started to walk towards me, when suddenly someone screamed behind
“Twig!” it yelled in a croaky voice
I turned around and quickly dodged as chuck swung at me
I shot my gun at the mutated chuck
The bullets did nothing
Chuck noticed julia
“Shoot” she said as she started to run, but Chuck swooped her up and held her by the neck, lifting her off the ground.
“Let her go!” I yelled as I aimed my mp5 at him.
“Go!” julia yelled
“I''m not leaving you!” i yelled
I couldn''t shoot with her in the way
“Let her go chuck!” i yelled
Mutated Chuck chuckled and crushed her neck with his hand.
He tossed her to the ground.
“No!” I yelled and I shot my mp5 at him.
It ricocheted off his body.
Chuck stood there laughing
I then noticed something on his chest, he was decaying, I could see his exposed ribcage and his heart…
I pulled my knife out.
I had some practice with knife throwing before,
I threw the knife at his chest.
Thunk
It pierced his heart, chuck gasped and clawed at his chest trying to get the knife out.
“Chow!” I said before turning around and running out of the gym.
I could hear Chuck screaming as I ran.
