After entering the demiplane housing Camoran’s inheritance, he’d appeared in a sterile white room shaped like a cube, 12 standard meters on each side, empty of anything, and the walls blocked his senses completely, even his sensory domain provided by Ruler’s domain and the extreme resolution from his Emperor’s Eyes of Analysis skill.
A smooth female voice told him the challenge would start in 36 days, giving others with a puzzle book a chance to join, and then the voice, which Aalam guessed was a prerecorded message, never appeared again.
For the first minute or so, it was fun to try and figure out how the Spirit Smith created such a chamber, but then he realized the cubic room was just a detached subspace. There wasn’t anything else to sense beyond the walls because there was nothing there. The subspace didn’t loop around on itself like the Steel Swamp Blessed Land. It just ended. And, without the ability to sense between unconnected dimensions, there was nothing else he could do.
He couldn’t feel his clones. He couldn’t feel his bonds. And he didn’t have enough power and skill to get out of the subspace himself, even though the theory behind how to do so was simple. He was detached from the Prime Material, and he was trapped.

Current race is Sublime Soul Heavenly Spark Primal Soul Lord (D-Mythic), has control over a Titanic amount of Territory for a D rank, has a maximized Soul stat, has the Heavenly Spark Pure Soul (Mythic) racial ability, has eaten the equivalent of 16 C rank souls at once, has absorbed the genetic power of a primal being of at least C rank, has absorbed the genetic power of an A rank with balanced affinity for all twelve elements, has exceeded the maximum stats of a Sublime Soul Heavenly Spark Primal Soul Lord (D-Mythic) by at least 50%
His race had increased in grade along the same line with no new modifiers, not becoming order aligned like the order dragon’s genetic power he’d absorbed before advancing, or chaos aligned like the B rank prince of one of the Primordial Human empires on whom he’d used his other chance of absorbing genetic power from his bloodline.
Genetic Thief (Empyrean)
Some steal legacies, you steal inheritance in its purest form
Effects:
Twice per rank, you may steal the genetic power, from both race and bloodline, of a being that has died, but whose soul is yet to pass on, and use that power to enhance your next racial advancement
But absorbing the power of the order dragon had modified his soul enough that, given his ridiculously high natural affinity with all Laws, he’d been able to awaken to the game changing Power of Order racial ability.
Power of Order (Empyrean): Increase the effectiveness of all stats by 6.25% for each grade of every order category Law within three grades of your highest Law.
For him, this boost to every stat was +3,700%, a rather ridiculous amount, making Power of Order his most useful racial ability, but the rest of his racial abilities were quite powerful as well.
Nascent/Primal Energy Constructor (Empyrean): Any extra stats that would be lost due to the stat’s limit having been reached instead become free stats. You may also convert primal energy into free stats and use free stats to increase the size of your soulstructures up to Colossal.
Heavenly Spark Pure Soul (Mythic): Increase the effectiveness of the Soul and Attunement stats by 100% and raise affinity with all Laws by 200%.
Ascended Soul Laboratory (Empyrean): Gain a unique small size soulstructure for long term storage of deceased souls. You gain complete control of the souls inside, allowing for the easy extraction of skills, as well as racial and bloodline energy.
Monster Emperor (Empyrean): Increase the max stats of your race by 100%.
Soul Lord Prince Battle Armor (Empyrean): Increase the foundational value of all base stats other than Soul by 33% of your effective Soul stat.
Primal Heart (Empyrean): Remarkably increase the normal flow rate of your qi, mana, and psyforce while seriously increasing their burst potential and ability to break down impurities.
Emperor’s Command (Empyrean): Remarkably increase the power of noble category skills.
With his Nascent/Primal Energy Constructor racial ability, Aalam had raised all his many soulstructures to Colossal size, the largest any soulstructure could be at a being’s birth, and this included his Ascended Soul Laboratory. With the specialized soulstructure increased massively in size, Aalam could even store multiple A rank souls within, and, with his complete control over every soul inside, he could extract their powers for his own use or the use of his subordinates.
Heavenly Spark Pure Soul, as it had been since he’d formed it at Legendary grade, was still incredibly useful, especially the boost to all affinities it provided, though it was still Mythic grade, unlike his other racial abilities. No resources could help Aalam advance it, only advancing all his Laws to the early grade Law Dragon level, and advancing his remaining 20 Laws was going to take some time.
Meanwhile, Monster Emperor increased the max stats of his race, Soul Lord Prince Battle Armor armored his soul to greatly increase his power, and Primal Heart made his energy stronger and purer, helping to make his cultivation of the Heavenly Spark version of the Twelve Element Primal Code much more efficient.
Finally, Emperor’s Command provided a five level boost to Aalam’s noble category skills which, when combined with the six level boost from one of his classes and the three level boost from his Emperor uniqueness, was more than enough to raise Aalam’s noble category skills, of which he had many, to two levels past the Divine grade, the difference between Empyrean and Divine grade much greater than that between Mythic and Empyrean.
Altogether, when it came to racial abilities, Aalam was likely one of the best ever in the history of the Prime Material’s C ranks, and this wasn’t even counting the Master of Disguise Racial ability he was shadowing from Mila.
