Evelyn’s POV:
My eyes opened when I heard Dad calling me, I got up in instance,
I smelled delicious food, I noticed the table is all set. Dad said, “go…
freshen up…. it’s time for breakfast…” He is waiting with me, he might not care
for Logan but he cares for me.
I realized he said breakfast… I checked the time, It’s the next morning.
It’s been more than 18 hours Logan is in hospital. My worries increased after
realizing the time has passed.
I asked, “Is Logan awake?”
Dad just said, “Not yet….” My heart
dropped. I need to see him, I need to go back to the hospital…..why it is
taking him so long.
Somehow I was getting changed in fresh set of clothes, I am still
worried about Logan. He is not awake yet… what am I going to do? My eyes tear
up, I love him so much…. he needs to recover.
I walked in the living area, when I heard Dad, “so he is up…. good for him… now my daughter can
rest….” As
I heard this, I took my bag and wore the mask. Dad called me to stop me. But I
just said, “Dad…. please…”
I rushed out, driving myself to the hospital. I opened the door as I was
edger to see him, I want to see him looking at me, I want to ensure myself. I
covered my face and dashed to the hospital.

As I walked in there, My every
consciousness told me not too… my fear was rising, I wanted to leave this ce

I found the room soon, My heart is

She asked, “You are Eve…” I am covering my
face but she still guessed.
I looked at her and said, “I… need to
see him…”
My eyes tear up, Marsha looks tired, she said,
“I knew you wille….. I was really scared…. Logan is only thing left for us,
I was about to call you… but I was really scared this time..” she almost cried…
I touched her cheek and said, “He
cares for you the most, don’t be like this or he will me himself….”
She just whispered, “He won’t me… he
can’t….” I looked at her questioned. I turned to the room, I opened the door,
but before I can open it further. I heard Logan asking he nurse, “Who… who was
that old man?... and that girl?..... wh… what is my name?..... I can’t
understand….”
My eyes went wide, I stood back from
the door. I looked at Marsha, she whispered, “He.. forgot everyone… and
everything…… even me and grandpa….
”
I felt my eyes flooding, My vision became blur. He… forgot me?.... like
this….. he asked all this time not to leave him, and he forgot everyone first….
How dare he?
I heard His grandfather’s voice, “Miss… Who are you?” He can’t recognize
me because of this mask and cap, but I am thankful somehow. I lowered my gaze,
then I faced the old man.
I said, “What the use?... I have
intension to be known… when… when he forgot me?...” I looked at the door and
said, “Your grandson… has audacity… after hurting me, he is forgetting me?” I
almost choked on my tears.
Marsha said to the old man, “Grandpa… she is
Brother’s girlfriend…..”
The old man sigh, He said, “Doctor
said…. his suffering from memory loss, maybe temporary or permanent…he needs to
do scans and test… I hope you can talk with him when he is in his sense…..” I
kept looking at the door, Logan is inside confused about his existence.
The old man said, “You can meet him…”
My heart is breaking by the thought
that he will look at me as if I am stranger. He will ask me who am I?
I said, “No need…” I turned to walk out of there. I noticed Ace was in
the lift. He said, “His Majesty asked me to take you safely…”
