    Dad said, “Being cruel is hard for


    kind people…. you have no idea… how tensed your mom is….. She sick by the way,


    her BP is not very good. She told me not to inform you guys since you all are


    busy… but seems like you all  are busy in


    having sibling meetings against your parents….”


    Mom… Mom is sick?...


    I got up and said, “I need to see Mom…”


    I was about to leave, Dad said from behind,


    “And yes… take care of your wife too… She needs a husband more, your siblings

    In the pce,


    I went to find mom, I found her in her room.


    She does appears stressed. I can’t see her like this. I hugged mom, she smiled.


    I gave her the flowers.


    Mom said, “wow… you always surprise


    me….” I took a seat beside mom.


    Mom asked, “How is Celeste?...  I hope you are taking care of her….” I smiled


    and said, “I am… you always scold me…”


    She just smiled looking at the flowers, I


    said, “Mom…I have a good news…” Mom looks at me.


    She is hiding her worry, I wish mom


    could lie better…she can never lie… I am thankful though…


    I said smiling, “Mom… you are having


    a grandson….” she smiled brightly… maybe Baby Zander will make her mood better…


    She said, “oh! god!.... I feel really blessed… It’s my first grandchild…


    we will celebrate this, as well as we will throw a party when baby will born……”


    I nod, She is really happy about the baby. we talked for few minutes… In


    middle I said, “Mom…. I think Ang won’t hurt Aaron…. she loves him…. I am


    saying this for Aaron, AND I can’t see you sick because of this matter…”


    Mom’s smile faded, she sat back, she said, “Ernest… I don’t want to


    talk…..”


    I sigh, I said, “Mom… I know why are you worried… I understand… but I


    talked with her, I know that girl is changing….. We can’t me her for


    everything…. Her mother left her when she was few months old, I heard she went


    away for a new man. Her father and step brother Cedric raised her. Her father


    died when she was 10, Cedric took care of her. But she never really had family


    as ours…. then….. Aaron betrayed her, it was our fault…. she acted like a teen


    and did that to herself, she met her mother… her mother insulted her and med


    her for everything, and she idently killed her mother…. then she came to


    find Aaron but couldn’t hurt him…. she is with him for months… she still didn’t


    hurt Aaron…. we can trust her….”


    Mom looks at me expressionless, I added, “Mom…


    that girl went through a hard childhood, loneliness… we can’t punish her


    I added, “We don’t know how lonely


    she grew up….. she needs a chance,'' mom…. we can’t understand her loneliness…”


    Mom got up and said, “No one can understand it


    better than me….. I know how it feels to grow up in pain, but every one chooses to be evil…. Ernest I

    I said, “Yes.. Mom…. you can take time as much


    as you want…. but please…don’t be sick… take care of yourself…..”
