    Evelyn’s POV:


    he touched my face and asked, “I know maybe I don’t deserve you… but can You give me another


    chance…”


    My heart was ttering, he loves me…

    I kept my face straight.


    Logan bend down to me, he pressed his lips on me, and I felt shivers on the sensation, tingles in my


    stomach. He parted after few seconds of moving against my lips feeling them.


    I tried not to blush, I failed… and  tried not to show my emotions, I SUCCEEDED IN THIS.


    Logan looked at me and said, “Evelyn… let’s date, I love you..”

    I said as stepped back, “Are you done?” he looked at me confuse.


    Yes, I want to run in his arms…. and all…


    but… he hurt my feeling and insulted my parents, he deserve some punishment…. anyways he need


    to know I am special and he needs to make an effort…. or many efforts


    I was about to walk away, when Logan asked holding my hand, “I am sorry, Evelyn… won’t you give

    chance to prove?..... I will always take care of you, love you… I never failed my people… I won’t fail


    you too..”


    I asked as my back was facing him, “I don’t see myself as your people… Mr. Knight…”


    He turned me to himself holding my shoulders, He said desperate, “You are my person… because


    you made me love you… I missed seeing you for these days that I thought I will go crazy…, I want to


    make you mine and give myself to you…”

    I just walked away from him, I heard him from behind, “I will wait for your answer, Evelyn…” I


    smirked… He should because I am thinking when to ept him.


    I drive back to my Vi all happy, I am so happy.


    I saw Ernest missed call, I answered walking in the Vi, “Yes..”


    Ernest brother want, “Why you did that?... why you tricked the driver..”


    I said, “I am safe and at my ce, I was just driving around… I NEED SOME SPACE…”


    I heard him sigh, I said, “I promise I am home… and I see mom in the hall…”


    Ernest said, “Maybe she wants to see you…. anyways don’t tell mom what you did today..”


    I said, “sure… bye..”


    Mom was sitting in the living area… I asked, “You here… you not at  your boutique…”


    Mom said, “I came here to see you… can’t I?”


    she walked in the kitchen, I followed her and said, “You can.. You are Queen…”


    Mom said, “I made food for you… want to eat..” I was nning to diet but whatever… I can’t miss


    mom’s cooking.


    I was sitting in front of mom eating this pasta dish, she even made chicken and she brought my


    favorite cake too.


    They are nning to make me chubby.


    Mom asked, “You look happy… something going on?”


    I said, “No.. nothing…”


    Mom sigh, she said,


    “fine… you can tell me whenever you feel like..”


    Mom said, “I am d to see you happy.”


    I said, “Your food is so nice that I can’t help but smile.”


    Mom chuckled, she said, “eat well…”


    few minutester,  I was eating my cake. Mom said,


    “I like Logan Knight for you..”


    I looked at her on this, she added, “He is nice boy, I asked few people about his background and


    behavior… he is good enough Evelyn… I think you chose right…”


    Mom said, “But…. I will not agree to this till I talk with your father properly… as a parent I


    cannot be at rest… till I make sure that boy will not lend anger for us on you..”


    I said, “Mom…. he is not like that.”


    Mom said, “ I hope so..”


    I said, “But… Dad.. will not agree. He warned Logan too… didn’t he?”


    Mom sigh. I said, “He loves me, I know mom.. he loves me too…. he told me today.”


    Mom asked, “so you met him… you agreed?”


    I said, “No…. I… I should make brothers and Dad agree first… I don’t want them to hurt Logan…”


    Mom said, “I don’t understand why men of this family are like this. Edwin’s Grandfather was same


    as him, his grandfather almost gave me a heart attack in name of test. and your brothers are same


    too.”


    I chuckled, Mom said, “don’tugh… your Dad is the hard to talk sometimes…”

    “Yes.. maybe he was not that perfect but made me feel special, knows me well….


    best part is he can read me, he fixes my doubts on his own.. he trust me… and


    cares for me…”


    I smiled and said, “I am going to marry Logan then…. I feel the same about him.” Mom smiled and


    said,


    “I just wish you to be happy…”


    But mom warned, “Stay away from Logan… for now… till we are sure…”


    Maybe I will not keep this promise.
