    Author’s POV:


    The brothers sat across the sofa, Evelyn was sleeping covered with


    nket on the sofa.


    Ernest said, “She thinks we… we don’t want her to have happy life… I do


    want to see her with someone who will take care of her more than us.”


    Aaron said, “that’s not possible… no one care of her like us…. no one


    will know the fear we feel for her safety…” Alexis smiled and patted Evelyn’s


    head. She was there heartbeat…. everyone of them was worried sick for her….


    Ernest added, “The only problem we have is that… I fear… fear that what


    if that person is like us, inhuman like us…. what if he hurts our sister?.... I


    don’t want someone as us, for her… she deserves better…..”


    Alexis whispered, “We will not let anyone hurt her…. I can’t see her


    crying…”


    Aaron said, “Yes… she deserves someone better… I got everything about


    Logan… wanna know..”


    Ernest said, “take her to her room and then we can talk…” Aaron picked


    Evelyn up in his arm and carried her to her room.


    these brothers can do anything for her…. and now that they felt she


    might stand against them… it made them insecure… they even feared, what if she


    goes away with her future partner, forget about them… they didn’t want to lose


    their sister…


    Alexis saw Aaron


    disappearing upstairs, he smiled and said, “You remember when we first saw


    them… they were so small and cute… Evelyn was active baby, holding fingers,


    looking around… while Aaron was busy sleeping. I was panicking when they


    started crying. I remember Mom holding them and saying ‘it’s fine, babies cry..


    but they have good big brothers to make them happy’… we should stick to that…


    How happy everyone was, to have these twins.”


    Ernest smiled


    remembering those days, He said, “I remember cing head on mom’s belly to


    hear them, I couldn’t. I was like, I won’t like them…. but mom dad said, ce


    hands and feel them moving… I tried for few days, and went I felt…. I don’t


    know.. I loved them since then..”


    Alexis said, “They


    are grown up… they want their own life..”


    Ernest said, “sure…


    but we are going to take care of them till we are alive…”


    Ernest remember how


    much he loved to be around his siblings. As a child he pretended not to like them


    for few days, but then he became the big brother he is… Twin’s use to follow


    him everywhere… he didn’t mind.


    Evelyn and Aaron


    always would be found looking at Ernest as he studied. Evelyn demanding for


    horseback rides, and Aaron too… so Alexis has to join.
