Ethan shrugged nonchntly. “Maybe you should,” heughed, “but you won’t.” He showed her a bag that he’d brought with him and said, “I’ve brought you something.”


    “What’s this,” Kylie replied skeptically.


    Ethan opened the bag, smiled, and said, “Adult diapers; to stop the bleeding, for when you are on your period! Are you happy?”


    “These are not for periods,” Kylieughed. “These are for incontinence. If you wanted to impress me, then you should have brought tampons!”


    “Just use it tonight,” Ethan scowled. “I’ll buy the right ones tomorrow.”


    Kylieughed as she looked at the adult diapers in Ethan’s gift bag. The look he gave her, though, froze herughter, and her face turned white. “Forget about it,” she stammered as she stepped forward to embrace him.     “There will be a meeting tomorrow,” She replied. “I don’t know the details yet, but I heard that a second season is already in the works!”


    Ethan smiled and said, “Well, keep me updated.”


    “Don’t forget that you promised to help me!” Kylie reminded him. “If you try to get out of our deal, expect to be celibate for a very long time!” A seductive smile makes way from her beautiful face.


    “My dear,” Ethanughed, “have I ever not been willing to help you? I live only to serve you. You should know this by now! How can you judge your husband easily?”


    Kylie looked at Ethan and said seriously, “I am not too sure about this variety show. My father wants to use my poprity to promote Khloe. It is why he arranged for us to participate in the same show together. I do not like the idea of being used by my father and sister…”


    “Don’t worry,” Ethan replied. “With your talent, even if you are both on the same show, she will be the one who will end up looking like a fool.” His voiceforted her. Most of the time, Kylie felt relieved that her husband was always with her. What just noticed that he often came in through her window, she wondered why, but she can’t ask him directly.

    The next day, Kylie went to thepany for a meeting with Lucas and Faith, but she was blocked by a ck van at the entrance to the underground parking lot. Next to her, Khloe’s car approached, and a security guard waved her in. Kylie rolled down her window and yelled to the guard: “What’s up? Let me in!”


    “You can park on the street,” the guard snarled, “and walk in like any other pedestrian!”


    “What a snob!” Faith muttered with dissatisfaction. Lucas, who was driving,ughed and said to Kylie, “Sit tight.”


    Bypassing the guards and their roadblock, he drove them straight into the parking lot and beat Khloe to the spot that had been reserved for her. Angry, Khloe stepped out of her car and said, “I will give you one minute to remove the car, and then there will be trouble.”


    Ignoring her sister, Khloe stepped out of the car and said, “I guess you were just too slow. Go and find yourself another parking space.  This space is reserved for Garcia Entertainment Employees. It is not your personal property!”


    Khloe turned to her driver. “Fine,” she said, “if she does not give me my spot, park behind her. Trap her in. That’ll serve her right. No doubt, she will want to leave long before I do. I can’t believe that she even showed up. What a dumb-dumb. Doesn’t she realize that this whole affair is to promote me? By next year, I will be receiving Oscars, and she will be nothing!”


    Kylie smiled. “Thepany has promised to treat me fairly,” she replied. “All I need to do is to beat you, which should be very easy, considering…”


    Khloe was about to reply, but Kylie stepped forward, put her finger to her sister’s lips, and whispered, “Shush, little one.”


    Khloe turned red in embarrassment and rage, but her words failed her, and all she could do was watch impotently as Kylie turned in the elevators.


    Laurence sat at the head of the table, and his two daughters sat across from him. Khloe still looked furious, while Kylie was the epitome ofposure. While they waited for the rest of the crew to join them, a secretary served them tea and coffee.


    Once everyone was assembled, Laurence stood up and said, “The show is set to take ce in Hamorna. The city has its own special dialect that sprung out from its particrly unique history. We would like the show to contain an educational aspect, and this is it. Because Khloe has had previous experience with reality TV, it is expected that everyone will take her lead. That being said, when ites to the actualpetitions, this will not give her any advantage over anyone else.”


    Suddenly, Kylie turned to Faith and asked her if the rating game was about to begin. Hearing this, Laurence turned on her in anger. “We are in a meeting,” he growled. “Pay attention to me!”


    Kylie looked up. “If I am to take my lead from Khloe,” she wondered, “what reason do I have to listen to you?”


    Khloe turned to Kylie and said, “Dad is trying to help you. Don’t be so rude.”


    “Really?” Kylie scoffed. “Weren’t you the one who said, just minutes ago, that this whole affair is only to promote you?!?!?!?”


    Khloe’s face turned red as Kylie threw her own words back at her.


    Laurence frowned as he watched his two daughters bickering like little children.


    “You people are ridiculous,” Kylie said as she stood up. “I quit.”


    Desperately, Laurence cried out, “Wait! We can have a discussion if you aren’t satisfied.”


    “It doesn’t seem to me that we can,” Kylieughed as she walked towards the door with her two helpers in the heel.
