La was in great shock as she couldn’t believe that someone would actually try to kidnap her daughter. It all happened so far and now Noelle is gone.


    It was like a nightmaree true. And now, her daughter was gone, and she had no idea where she was or what was happening to her. It was a parent’s worst nightmare, and La felt like she was going to go crazy with worry.


    “La where were..” Nn, who seemed to be waiting for her, asked the moment he saw her walk in.


    He couldn’t find La and Noelle and they seemed to be taking long to arrive.


    She entered just when he was about to send out guards to look for them.


    La, who felt lifeless, fell into Nn’s arms as she didn’t even know where to begin in telling him that his daughter was missing.


    “What happened to you and where the f*ck is Noelle?” He asked, rmed as he couldn’t shake off that foreboding feeling that something was wrong.


    “I… I… ” La began stammering as fresh tears flowed down from her eyes.


    “I seriously have no idea how it happened… I took Noelle and Malcolm to the pack because she wanted to go there..” she added feeling her head spin. She felt like passing out but it was best she spoke so her daughter would be found.


    Who in the world would have the effrontery to kidnap the Alpha’s daughter?


    “And then..” a sob slipped her lips as she hugged Nn again.


    “And then what?” Nn asked in a stern voice.


    “Noelle was… she was. Elle was.. taken away! “: La finally informed and Nn felt his muscles stiffen.


    Nn felt his heart sink to the pit of his stomach as La’s words sank in.


    “Taken away?” he repeated, his voice cracking. “What do you mean taken away?”


    “She was kidnapped,” La sobbed, burying her face in Nn’s shoulder. “I don’t know what happened. One minute she was with me, and the next minute she was gone.”


    “No, this can’t be happening,” Nn uttered in disbelief, who in the world datedid a finger on his daughter?


    ” Why the fuck didn’t you take a guard with you or better still tell someone that you were leaving!!!? ” He yelled at La and her sobs increased as she removed her head from his shoulders.


    Nn. Immediately began to feel guilty, he should take it easy on her.


    I knew she was going through so much, considering the fact she was pregnant and she had to watch her daughter taken away without being able to do anything.


    ” I’m so sorry… ” he apologized as he hugged her again. This time stroking her back gently to try and soothe her.


    “It’s okay,” La said, her voice muffled by his shirt. “I know you’re just worried about Noelle. I am too.”


    “We’ll find her,” Nn assured, his voice full of determination. “I promise you, we’ll find her and bring her home.”


    “I hope so,” La said, her voice trembling. “I just can’t imagine what she’s going through. She’s so young and scared, and I’m not there to protect her, it’s all my fault.. ” she cried.


    ” Cw on my love, none of it was your fault and you have to stop thinking about that, Noelle will be brought back to you. I promise..” he swore, nting a kiss on her forehead. Then he made her sit on a chair.


    Just then a guard walked in as Nn had sent for him.


    “Your Highness..” he bowed.


    ” The princess is missing.. ” he uttered, gritting his teeth In anger. His little angel was captured. He wondered how she must be faring now.


    He would never forgive the person who even had the guts to think of doing it but the question was who?


    The guard shifted ufortably on his feet. “A search party will be arranged for her, Your Highness,” he informed.


    “We don’t know yet who could have taken her, or where she might be. I’m sorry, but we will make sure to find her” he swore.


    Nn’s mind was racing. He had to find his daughter, no matter what it took. But how could he, when he had no clue who had taken her, or where they might have gone?


    “Turn the kingdom upside down if you have to… ” he ordered in a menacing tone.


    ” Send the others out how. Once La finally calms down she’ll give us details on what the men looked like.. ” he said as he nced at La who was still crying silently on the couch she was seated on.


    The guard nodded. “We’ll do everything we can, Your Highness,” he said, and then bowed and left the room.


    Nn turned back to La, his heart aching at the sight of her tears. “We’re going to find her, my love,” he said, kneeling down in front of her. “I promise you that.”


    La looked up at him, her eyes red and swollen from crying. “I hope so,” she whispered. “I just want her back, safe and sound.”


    “We’ll find her,” Nn said, taking her hand in his.


    “And when we do, we’ll make sure this never happens again. We’ll tighten security, and find out who was responsible for this. I won’t rest until our little girl is back home where she belongs.”


    “Thank you,” La said, giving him a weak smile.  “I know you’ll do everything you can.”


    Nn hugged her tight.”everything is going to be fine.. ” he whispered to her. He would call her down and go search for Noelle himself, she needed to be brought back home at all costs.
