“How dare you?” Nn’s blue eyes zed in anger as he stared at Ca with disappointment. She was the culprit.


    She knew how he operated so well that she was able to clean her tracks so she’d never be caught.


    Nn could feel his wolf stirring, ready to take control. He could feel the anger and betrayal boiling up inside him, and he knew he had to stay in control. He couldn’t let his emotions get the better of him, no matter how much he wanted to.


    “You did it right?” He asked in a low voice as Ca suddenly went pale.


    “You set La up and just have added something to her drink?” He asked and Carll who looked like she had seen a ghost started looking for ways to vindicate herself.


    Ca’s eyes widened, and her mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. She seemed to be at a loss for words, and Nn’s suspicion grew.


    “No,” she denied, her voice shaking. “I didn’t do anything like that. Why would you even think that?”


    Nn narrowed his eyes, studying her.


    “You’ve never been a fan of La,” he said, his voice t.


    “You’ve always been jealous of her. I always overlooked your actions thinking you were just being childish. How could you? ” Nn smacked his lips in anger.


    “I didn’t do anything,” Ca said, her voice rising in panic.


    “I didn’t have anything to do with what happened to La. I swear.”


    “You’re a liar,” Nn said, his voice low and dangerous. “I can smell it on you. You’re not a good liar. Now, you will tell me the truth. I want to know everything you did to La. And then, I’ll decide what to do with you.”


    Ca swallowed hard, her eyes wide with fear. She knew she was in serious trouble but she was not going to give up, not now.


    “Believe me, Nn. You’ve been with me longer than her. I’m telling the truth.. ” she tly denied his usations.


    “Come with me..” Nn dragged Fer out of the room like amon criminal as La followed them.


    Ca kept yelling that she was innocent, as Nn dragged her to the dungeon.


    Aurora and Keisha, who had heard themotion, rushed out.


    “La, what happened?” They asked La.


    ” Nn thinks Ca is behind what happened.. ” she replied as they arrived at the dungeon.


    Darren was there, obviously dealing with Jake, who now looked like a corpse.


    Nn threw Ca roughly on the ground and hemanded.


    “Now speak!!”


    ” I swear I did nothing.. Ca cried as her eyes traveled to Jake who looked surprised to see her, she was going to get herself out of the mess at all costs.


    “I don’t believe you,” Nn said, his voice cold.


    “No, you have to” Ca insisted, her eyes pleading.


    “I would never do anything like that. I don’t know what happened to La, but I had nothing to do with it.”


    “You’re a liar, if you aren’t responsible, what happened to La after she passed out in your hands, where did you take her Ca?!! ” Nn yelled. He found it hard to believe Ca could stoop so low.


    “If you don’t start talking. I’ll burn the both of you alive..” he threatened both Jake and Ca.


    Ca was shaking, her eyes wide with fear. She knew Nn was serious, and she was terrified. But she had to protect herself, she had to make him believe her.


    “I took her to her room,” she said, her voice trembling. “I didn’t do anything to her. I swear, I didn’t. Please, you have to believe me.”


    ” You’re still lying… Nn’s brows furrowed and he reached out for an iron rod that was lying on the ground.


    He nned on using it to threaten Ca to bring the truth out of her mouth.


    He raised the rob, pretending to want to hit her, when Ca yelled.


    “I did it!!”


    “You did what?” Nn demanded, his voice low and dangerous. “Tell me everything. Don’t leave out a single detail.”


    Ca took a deep breath and then began to speak. She told Nn everything, from her jealousy of La to her n to frame her. She told him how she had drugged La’s drink, then led her to the room with the guard. She didn’t leave out a single detail.


    When she was done, the room was silent. Nn stared at her, his face hard as stone.


    “I can’t believe you. You’ve disappointed me..” Nn shook his head.


    “What would you have me do!!” Ca yelled standing up from the ground.


    “I’ve loved you, Nn. More than myself. I’m supposed to rule beside you, not that scum you met by ident..” she pointed angrily at La, who Aurora was holding in a bid to support her.


    “You’re insane,” Nn spat, his voice filled with revulsion.


    “You think you’re entitled to me, to the throne? You’re nothing but a bitter, jealous woman who would do anything to get what she wants. I will never love you, and I will never let you near the throne. You’re a disgrace.”

    ” I’m sure you’ll be a big disappointment to him, you’re a disgrace and don’t you ever try to threaten me with that. I did everything for you Ca and took you as a sister”


    “You did nothing for me!” Ca spat. “I did everything for you! I gave you everything you ever wanted, and you threw it all back in my face! I’m not a disgrace! You’re the wrong one!”


    “You betrayed me,” Nn said, his voice deadly calm. “You betrayed La, you betrayed the kingdom. I will never forgive you for that. You will pay for what you’ve done.”


    Ca’s eyes filled with tears, her face red with rage and hurt. “I only did what I did for you,” she whispered.


    “I should have killed her when I had the chance.. ” she muttered bitterly.


    “How I wish that Poison killed you, La. I should have done it myself but that stupid Sarah ruined my ns. Thank God she died. Because I could have killed her with my bare hands..” Caughed maniacally.


    As everyone stilled, the realization hit them hard. Ca was the one who tried to poison La, not Archie.


    The room went deathly silent, everyone staring at Ca in shock and horror. No one had expected her to confess to such a heinous crime, and it was clear she had lost her mind.


    La felt sick to her stomach, her hands shaking as she clutched Aurora’s arm.

    “You heard me right Nn, I paid Sarah to kill La and manipted Archie to take the me. Archie is my mate whom I wanted to drag because I want you. You see all the things I’ve done for you. I don’t mind killing to get you… ” she cried as Nn looked at her in utter disgust.


    ” But she took everything!!!” Ca yelled pointing at La.
