La happily rushed down the stairs. She just learnt that Aurora and Xander were already leaving and she wanted to bid farewell.


    “My love!” Aurora squealed happily as La rushed to hug her. Keisha was so present there.

    “It’s so sad that you’re leaving so soon.” La pouted. She has missed her best friend so much and now she is leaving.

    “No worries though. I’ll being over soon..” La informed Aurora happily She had an appointment with doctor Karen.


    So she would take that as an opportunity to visit both Aurora and Regan.


    “That’s wonderful!” Aurora said, her face lighting up.


    “I can’t wait to see you again! And you can tell me all about your new adventures as queen” Aurora winked at her.


    ” Oh, and don’t forget to bring some of that delicious werewolf food you were telling me about!”


    La chuckled. “Of course! I’ll make sure to bring some for you”


    She then turned to Xander, who had been standing silently. “I’ll miss you too, Xander.”

    “Good, I’ll be in the car..” he said to Aurora as he gave his luggage to a guard.

    “That’s incredible!” Keisha eximed, reaching out to examine the ring. “It’s so beautiful! ” She admired the ring.


    Aurora nodded in agreement. “You must be so happy! When’s the wedding going to be?”


    “I don’t know yet,” La replied, still smiling.


    It would be probably after she has her baby but nheless she was happy that things were working out fine.


    “Wow, I’m so happy for you girl..” Aurora screamed happily.


    “What’s going on here?” Someone asked behind them and they turned to see Ca.


    “Nn gave La a ring. A royal wedding is going to take ce soon…” Keisha informed and Ca’s shoulders instantly fell..

    “Nn and La’s wedding is going to take ce soon” Keisha confirmed and Ca chuckled in amusement.


    She never really thought this day woulde, her thought had always been that Nn would never marry La as he never cared to do that when they just got married. But it seemed things had changed.


    “You look happy La..” she began as she looked at La from head to toe.


    “You should…” she said slowly, faking a smile.


    La could sense the insincerity in Ca’s tone. She knew that Ca wasn’t really happy for her, and she strangely didn’t give a fuck about it.


    “Thanks, Ca,” she said, trying to keep her tone polite.


    “I am happy, very happy about this. It’s so good to know how much my mate cares about me..” La fired at Ca with a passive look on her face.


    Ca gave her a tight smile. “I’m d to hear that. I just hope that this happinesssts.”


    “What do you mean by that?” La asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.


    Ca hesitated for a moment, clearly searching for the right words.

    “That’s enough Ca. It’s none of your business…” Keisha snapped at Ca. She really hated how Ca refrained from minding her business.


    “Thank you, Keisha,” La said, feeling a rush of gratitude towards her friend. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her anger


    Ca rolled her eyes. “It’s not as if I’m lying.”


    La chose to ignore her, not wanting to let Ca get under her skin. She was determined to enjoy her happiness, no matter what Ca thought.


    “Come Aurora, let’s go. Ignore her. She never gets past her childishness, that must be why she’s yet to find her own mate at this age…” La uttered with sarcasm.


    Ca was a full grown woman yet to find her mate.


    She should worry about that instead.


    “Don’t mind her, La,” Aurora said, giving La a reassuring smile. “She’s just jealous of your happiness. She’s probably never been loved like you are.”


    Ca’s face flushed with anger at Aurora’s words. “You can’t talk to me like that,” she said, her voice low and dangerous.


    “And why’s that?” Aurora snapped at her.


    “Go get a life Ca. It seems as if you need one…” Aurora smiled warmly at Ca.


    Ca’s eyes shed with rage, but before she could respond, a loud voice called out, “What’s going on here?”


    They all turned to see. His expression was dark, and La could tell he was not pleased.


    Aurora and Keisha immediately straightened up, their faces showing respect. Ca, however, looked defiant.


    “You’re here..” La smiled as she walked to where Nn was, and she held him by his waist romantically while she nted a light kiss on his cheeks.


    “Yeah. Actually I had a change of ns. We’re leaving with Aurora and Xander..” Nn informed La.


    “Really?”


    “Yes, you’ll get your checkup done and I have something to deal with at thepany. We’ll return tomorrow in earnest..” he added as La shook her head slowly.


    “Great!” She eximed happily.


    “I’ll pack my bags..” she was about to leave when Nn held her back.


    “No need. I actually packed a few things that you’ll be needing for you. We’re leaving now..”


    “Awwn, you’re so thoughtful..” La blushed as she hugged him.


    “Alright,e on..” They both held hands with each other making way for the door.


    “I’m so d that we’ll be leaving together..” Aurora grinned as Keisha spoke.


    “I’ll see you off..”


    “Be good Ca..” La smiled at Ca as they left.


    Ca almost burst into pieces out of anger as she witnessed what just happened. She brought out a phone as she dialed a number.


    “Hey..” she says the moment the person picked up the call.


    “I have great news for you!” She grinned devilishly as she yed with her nails.
